Commuter benefits await in this park-filled city

Commuter-Friendly Community Parks Shopping Center Scenic Views

A scenic area on hilly terrain, View Park is known for its winding residential neighborhoods lined with single-family homes and paved sidewalks. With just five miles separating View Park and LAX, traveling is no problem for this town’s residents. View Park is located between Santa Monica and Los Angeles within Interstates 405, 105, 10, and 110, making this area a great place for commuters.

View Park has easy access to Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area, spanning over 300 acres with a Japanese garden, athletic fields, and scenic pathways. But if you’re looking for a smaller neighborhood park, Ladera Park is a great wooded area with sports fields, a recreation center, and even its own amphitheater. Casual local restaurants reside on the outskirts of town, but if you’re hoping for more shopping and dining options, Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza is just north of View Park with retailers, department stores, restaurants, and a movie theater!
