Having lived in Washington Park for most of my life, this is an excellent neighborhood. The park itself is a great place to walk, run, bike, and play frisbee in the grassy areas. The small Gaylord Street boutique and restaurant area is a fun place to spend a Friday evening or Sunday brunch. Pearl Street, in W.P. West, offers classier restaurants and shopping. A fire department and police station are within the neighborhood. The closest high school is South.

In a city with lots of beauty, Wash Park is one of the most beautiful places in Denver. Tons of mature trees, safe, family-friendly, and a very educated, yet diverse group of neighbors that actually like each other. One common theme among people that live in Wash Park is the extraordinary amount of value placed on health and quality of life - like I've never experienced anywhere. It's kind of the Boulder of Denver.
