The scenic city of Wheatfield borders the famous Niagara Falls along the rapid Niagara River in New York. As you can imagine, this city’s riverfront views are stunning. Wheatfield is a premier location for commuters with two major airports nearby. In its boundaries, Wheatfield houses the Niagara Falls International Airport and is just 16 miles northwest of the Buffalo Niagara International Airport.

Wheatfield’s picturesque residential neighborhoods feature spacious lots, well-maintained lawns, large single-family homes, and safe streets. Longstanding residential buildings and cozy apartments await you in this welcoming suburb. Although suburban, the area that surrounds the city’s neighborhoods is quite rural with open land and towering trees.

In the southernmost corner of town along the river, nearing the city of Tonawanda, you’ll find Wheatfield’s charming commercial district, featuring businesses, restaurants, shops, theatres, and more. Although a few other shopping centers reside around the city, this is Wheatfield’s most popular place for local shopping, dining, and entertainment.
