The suburban neighborhood of White City is a small community just under six miles south of Downtown Fort Pierce. This Treasure Coast neighborhood provides a vibrant setting and a more laid-back pace of life outside of Fort Pierce and Port Saint Lucie. The neighborhood is characterized by dense forests mixed with residential and commercial spots on Oleander Avenue. Nearby parks and wilderness preserves like Sweetwater Hammock and Weldon B. Lewis round out the area’s emphasis on nature. Proximity to the Atlantic Ocean and the Fort Pierce Inlet, which provide natural views, beaches, and water activities like boating and fishing means there’s always something to do in the Florida sunshine without venturing far from home. A short drive brings residents to the dining, shopping, and entertainment venues of the nearby cities. White City is home to a variety of rentals ranging from amenity-laden apartment communities to condos just off Highway 1.

My family has lived in beautiful White City for 5 years. The many parks and St. Lucie river is my favorite. Located between Fort Pierce to the north and Port St. Lucie to the south we are an ideal place away from it all.

There is not enough of anything nearby and larger chain stores have ran off many smaller stores
