Been here for almost a year now, and happily renewed. Easily the best apartments in Colorado Springs, you get a quiet area with fantastic layouts, just about every modern amenity built in, and a responsive support staff should you need to make a request.
The community is awesome! Friendly, outgoing, and helpful staff. So many great amenities. Property is kept clean and very easily accessible.
I am not yet a long-term resident, but the process of application, moving in, and actually getting settled has been an easy one! I am blown away by the amenities of this place and feel very comfortably at home.

Everybody in the office is super nice and helpful. The move in was easy and I had an issue and they solved it quickly. I also appreciate that the gym has Nautilus equipment which is awesome. So far everThing has been great.

Great amenities and helpful and kind staff at the lodge at Black Forest. I love the coffee bar and valet trash. It makes my life easier not having to take the trash down the stairs and drive it to the dumpster.

Very nice, safe place to live. We have a great trash pickup service but, some neighbors ignore the rules and make the place look sloppy. The property sends out emails. But, there’s no penalty so nothing changes. Some people just don’t appreciate good things. Disappointed that the pool and spa area were out of service in my neighborhood all summer. I didn’t wan to drive over to the other neighborhood to use theirs. I just went to my gym instead. The gym here is definitely a nice one. I use it too. The work space is solid too. I expected more resident events, haven’t seen them. Work orders are taken care of in a timely manner. I’ve had some issues with some things being the result of crappy contractors. Overall, this was the winner out of all the places I visited. The staff is great. Everyone I’ve met has been professional, friendly and very helpful. I think I made the right choice.

It is a nice place to live. They maintain the amenities pretty clean. I feel safe. Agents in the leasing office are cordial and willing to assist, however they lack of organization and ability to complete tasks on a timely manner. If I need something from them I typically have to go 3 times to the office before it gets done. Other than that, it’s a nice place to live

I love my apartment home and save from the fact that I can’t have a Rottweiler, I have no complaints about the community or the staff. Every maintenance issue has been handled VERY quickly with good communication. The staff, team, and neighbors are all quite friendly, The rent is a tad high, but compares very favorably to the area. Let’s be honest, everything is high!!

Overall, it has been great living here. Neighbors are quiet and respectful, grounds crew is top notch, and the interiors are super nice. My only complaint is the unused paid parking, if half of these spots didn’t exist, people wouldn’t have to park multiple buildings away. Other than the one minor thing^, this place and community are pretty awesome.

The front desk never picks up the phone when you move in. They will charge you for every things they can think of. Expect to have to park far away from your apartment 2-3 times during the cold months while the strip and repaint the parking lot. It’s a okay place to live for a short time definitely not more than a year. Expect a lot of deliveries to go to the wrong address and for your packages to get stolen.

We have lived here for almost four years. We are very happy with the management and the employees. They are very thoughtful and professional. Also our neighbors are very nice. We just had a four day snowstorm and I went out to clear my car and a young woman was cleaning her car and stopped immediately and came and cleaned my car off for me. She introduced herself and she is my next door neighbor and is about 24 and I am 81. I thought that was very nice!

I love this community. My building neighbors are nice. Units are beautiful and inviting. I gave one lower because mail area is always blocked by non mail pick-up cars. Other problem is snow removal is not though and paths are too narrow for walkers at times.

Excellent! The apartment complex provides a Clean and well kept living environment. The leasing office has friendly leasing agents who are always ready to help you with anything you need! They provide an excellent community!
I love these apartments and the maintenance staff come at a decent time. I also like how this apartment complex feels like a community and the residents love being outside even if it’s snowing out.
Love living here. It’s quiet and has dog parks. The common area are maintained along with the yards. Pools are great and clean. There is all year round pool and the gym equipment is awesome.

Other than not really having access to "enjoy" clubhouse, pool & other areas are wonderful. my son loves to swim and spending our time there has been one of his favorite memories we make here. the views, colors of building, t are gorgeous. living here has been beautiful and homie. the first place ive felt at home in 9 years. thank you

We have lived here for about a year and love it. Residents are kind and friendly. Grounds are kept clean and most people pick up their dog poop. The trails around the complex are fantastic. Maintenance is kind and always willing to help out. Front staff does a great job making sure there are resident events. We’ve loved living here!

This has been a wonderful place to live. We moved here two years ago and are about to move out but it is has been great. Lots of parking, good space for my dog, maintenance has been amazing.

Very smooth and easy move in , great rooms , thankful to have a high ceiling makes the apt feel very much like home . Amenities are great and very clean here.

Really nice neighborhood with friendly neighbors. The staff are great and helpful, especially maintenance. The building has thin walls and floors so it can get noisy at times, but for the most part it’s a great place to live.
We are in our last month of a 2-year stay at these apartments and would recommend them to everyone! The quality for the price can't be beat!
