Property Ratings at Lodge at Black Forest
Very nice, safe place to live. We have a great trash pickup service but, some neighbors ignore the rules and make the place look sloppy. The property sends out emails. But, there’s no penalty so nothing changes. Some people just don’t appreciate good things. Disappointed that the pool and spa area were out of service in my neighborhood all summer. I didn’t wan to drive over to the other neighborhood to use theirs. I just went to my gym instead. The gym here is definitely a nice one. I use it too. The work space is solid too. I expected more resident events, haven’t seen them. Work orders are taken care of in a timely manner. I’ve had some issues with some things being the result of crappy contractors. Overall, this was the winner out of all the places I visited. The staff is great. Everyone I’ve met has been professional, friendly and very helpful. I think I made the right choice.
It is a nice place to live. They maintain the amenities pretty clean. I feel safe. Agents in the leasing office are cordial and willing to assist, however they lack of organization and ability to complete tasks on a timely manner. If I need something from them I typically have to go 3 times to the office before it gets done. Other than that, it’s a nice place to live
I love my apartment home and save from the fact that I can’t have a Rottweiler, I have no complaints about the community or the staff. Every maintenance issue has been handled VERY quickly with good communication. The staff, team, and neighbors are all quite friendly, The rent is a tad high, but compares very favorably to the area. Let’s be honest, everything is high!!
Overall, it has been great living here. Neighbors are quiet and respectful, grounds crew is top notch, and the interiors are super nice. My only complaint is the unused paid parking, if half of these spots didn’t exist, people wouldn’t have to park multiple buildings away. Other than the one minor thing^, this place and community are pretty awesome.

Pretty quiet complex , very safe feeling environment. Largest apartment I found in the same price range .. Rent is a bit on the high side , but seems to be everywhere.. Good place to live

The front desk never picks up the phone when you move in. They will charge you for every things they can think of. Expect to have to park far away from your apartment 2-3 times during the cold months while the strip and repaint the parking lot. It’s a okay place to live for a short time definitely not more than a year. Expect a lot of deliveries to go to the wrong address and for your packages to get stolen.

I absolutely love living here. Very quiet community. They keep the ground very very clean and the apartments are very well taken care of. I love that they have 2 pools and even a gym area with decent equipment. I would recommend anyone to live here.

We have lived here for almost four years. We are very happy with the management and the employees. They are very thoughtful and professional. Also our neighbors are very nice. We just had a four day snowstorm and I went out to clear my car and a young woman was cleaning her car and stopped immediately and came and cleaned my car off for me. She introduced herself and she is my next door neighbor and is about 24 and I am 81. I thought that was very nice!

I love this community. My building neighbors are nice. Units are beautiful and inviting. I gave one lower because mail area is always blocked by non mail pick-up cars. Other problem is snow removal is not though and paths are too narrow for walkers at times.

Excellent! The apartment complex provides a Clean and well kept living environment. The leasing office has friendly leasing agents who are always ready to help you with anything you need! They provide an excellent community!
I love these apartments and the maintenance staff come at a decent time. I also like how this apartment complex feels like a community and the residents love being outside even if it’s snowing out.
Love living here. It’s quiet and has dog parks. The common area are maintained along with the yards. Pools are great and clean. There is all year round pool and the gym equipment is awesome.

We have lived here for about a year and love it. Residents are kind and friendly. Grounds are kept clean and most people pick up their dog poop. The trails around the complex are fantastic. Maintenance is kind and always willing to help out. Front staff does a great job making sure there are resident events. We’ve loved living here!

Really nice neighborhood with friendly neighbors. The staff are great and helpful, especially maintenance. The building has thin walls and floors so it can get noisy at times, but for the most part it’s a great place to live.
We are in our last month of a 2-year stay at these apartments and would recommend them to everyone! The quality for the price can't be beat!

Everyone is very friendly and there are no miscommunications. We feel taken care in each way, any concerns we might have are acknowledged and responded to. We enjoy having community activities to help us get to know our neighbors and become more comfortable with amenities.

Quit neighborhood. Quiet neighbors. Great location. Only thing is updating some amenities within the apartment (washer/dryer, dishwasher). I’ve enjoyed my year here and hope to renew come February!
The place didn’t look move in ready when we got here and there’s been things that maintenance needs to fix and they’ve taken their time to do so. The office people are absolutely wonderful, they care a lot about your experience so I’m grateful for them.

Very nice facility all around. Hot tub and pool seem to be very clean. Application process was pretty easy. The only thing is our screen door is a little messed up and the apartment wasn’t very clean. Oh and they constantly have the sprinklers going so it’s got some pretty muddy grass all the time.
The apartment community and overall living has never cause me any problems while in the 10 months of living here. I enjoy it and plan on staying
The team at The Lodge at Black Forest are amazing. They’re timely with repairs and questions, always super friendly, and very helpful. The community is great, clean, and very welcoming.

Great move in experience! Leasing office personnel are super friendly and helpful. We love that the units have modern appliances and layouts. We could use more internal storage space, but the rooms are very spacious, so we’re making it work.

This is the best place I have ever lived , great location amazing amenities great size apartments and the view is absolutely amazing . It is truly a peaceful place to live .
I just moved to a bigger apartment within the apartment community and I have enjoyed the amenities, the communication with the property management staff. I haven’t had any issues with my neighbors and have began fostering friendships with them.
This has been a great apartment. Quite. Lots of grass space for my dog. Lots of parking. The maintenance staff is wonderful and always so helpful. I love having a gym just a short walk away.
The amentities are extremely nice and well kept. The room is nice and large for the price point. My only potential complaint is that I’m on the third floor with no elevator so moving in was a little tiresome.
