Encompassing the entire west side of Florida State University, the University neighborhood consists of several smaller neighborhoods, like Amelia Circle, Elberta Empire, and Mabry Manor. The neighborhood stretches from just north of Highway 90 south toward Seminole Golf Course and Club. Because it is so close to campus, University consists of a variety of housing -- ranch-style houses, townhomes, apartment communities, and student housing developments help make this eclectic area even more interesting. Because, it is not what you expect it to be, especially after all the tricky wording displayed on the ad page that I read when I considered to move into it. They fix what they want to fix. Renovation is not the "renovation" that we are all accustomed to. When looking for a good place to live, keep going pass that place. You will thank God you did!
