You can see the place yourself. Great management. There are kind and nice, maintain the property well, attend the service requests quickly.
The maintenance staff here is amazing. They are so polite and kind. They do a wonderful job in a timely manner and go above and beyond. When upgrading the lights in the kitchen, they mentioned it was going to make a mess, and they moved everything out of the way for me. It felt like that “white glove” premium service. They even cleaned up afterwards. They are the best.

Issues: Lights constantly need replacing (bad electrical). Appliances are terrible. Stacking washer dryer is impossible to keep clean and doesn’t clean clothes well anyway. Dishwasher is so so. Fridge ice maker doesn’t have a button to turn it off so it’s always overflowing. AC blows directly towards the only good spot for a couch which freezes you. Sealing in bathroom showers and in kitchen sink isn’t good and water pools on the ledges of both making it difficult to keep from getting moldy/grimey. Drains are terrible. No soundproofing so you can hear everything above you. Street lights shine directly in windows and they don’t supply curtains (good luck finding big enough black out curtains and then hanging them on the super high ceilings (which is do love, but come on, they should have been supplied). Speaking of things not supplied, no overhead fans. Big lack of storage space. Bathrooms have no closets despite being huge themselves. Kitchen has no pantry. Bedrooms barely have room after putting a bed in (although one has a nice walk in closet at least). The porch isn’t enclosed and you end up with soot from cars driving by and debris from the dryer constantly. Parking spots are tiny, hard to get into, and they started charging for it (was free when I moved in). With the charge they now constantly threaten towing for things. Oh yeah, for the past few years there’s been nonstop construction of which is very noisy and at times has felt like earthquakes. (No compensation of any kind for the huge inconvenience) Lastly, they’re going to install spyware on entry and thermostats.

Great location but noisy building from neighbors and commercial tenants. Finishes are average/cheap, management is unresponsive and has high turnover. Communication is poor. Package theft is an ongoing issue. Common areas, Pool and gym have been offline for months without any apology or rent adjustment or plan to make them useable by reservation.

We have lived in this apartment complex for two years and we’re moving because we are finally homeowners! My favorite aspects of this apartment are the view (C415), the layout, large windows, the patio, and the location. Especially during the Covid time, the patio is a hit. I put out hummingbird feeders and I get eleven little birds at a time quite frequently! (please feed them responsibly) Having the Caltrain nearby is handy for visiting San Francisco, and although the train noise can be a concern for some people, the building is well insulated and that helps with noise reduction. I would say the elevator maintenance and the guest parking management can be improved.

The management team is incredibly ridiculous. 1) The worker form management team started to do extremely noisy maintenance at 4 AM in the early morning on Monday, without any notice sent in advance. After talking with the manager, they guarantee to stop at the 3pm, however it still extremely noisy until 3:45pm and the worker still working, so called the office again and have been told they can't finish their work until 4 pm so they can't stop now. And the management team ask me to cooperate with this maintenance and bear with the noise until quite hour. And suggest me call Sunnyvale security until quite hour and said there nothing they can do before quiet hour, aka 9 pm. 2) There are plenty of lux apartment around, loft house definitely keeps rent 20% above others and the team definitely not trying to solve the problem, they trying to solve the person who brings problems. All they do is sending reminder over and over again for monthly payment from mid of a month to the early of next month. I won't recommend it to others.

We had such high expectations when we moved into the Loft House apartment complex - the building is relatively new, with modern features, a lovely pool area, a pretty decent gym, a really great community space - Loft House had it all - or so we had mistakenly thought... It wasn't long after we moved in that we realized that we could hear our upstairs neighbor's every movement from their kid crying, to their garbage disposal, to furniture being moved, to their every step across the floor. It has been such a major annoyance and has truly ruined our Loft House experience. The walls and ceilings are so poorly insulated - it is just a cheaply constructed building - one of many in the Bay Area based on experiences of friends and colleagues. I won't even get started about hearing the local Caltrain... On the plus side, like I briefly mentioned above, there are positives to the building but these are totally diluted by the major noise issues. I think that unless you are willing to pay the premium to move to a top floor apartment (or you are lucky enough to have neighbors that spend 99% of their time living in their out-of-state holiday home), you will most likely regret your decision to move into the Loft House. I write this only because I wish I had been forewarned before I made my ill-fated decision to move into the building. One truly disappointed tenant
My husband and I have been living here since Sept 2016. We have experienced so many problems with our unit that it is difficult to list them all. We were in their largest penthouse unit - be careful with this unit. We have experienced mold twice since moving here. The walk-in shower was not built properly. Noise is also an issue. We are on the top floor and can hear stomping from our neighbors below. The proximity to the Caltrain station is convenient, however, due to poor construction you will hear the Caltrain and freight train at all hours of the night. The Community Manager is not properly trained and now they have ex-employees writing reviews for themselves to boost their ratings. Do your research and read reviews carefully - I wish we had! In particular, look at the reviews on the property management company, Greystar. For this price point, you can most certainly find a better place to live. We spent almost 7 months escalating our concerns before they decided to help us - a little too late. We will be moving out as soon as our lease is up.
We have lived here for two years, but will be leaving when our lease is up. The apartment buildings are nice, but there has been a steady decline in the upkeep of the property. There are no community rules enforced, and the grounds are not kept up at all. People cram the balconies with bicycles, cardboard boxes, and general junk- managegment does nothing to enforce community standards. One entire corner of the property has literally been blocked off by police tape for 6 months, with no repairs being made. For the very high rent that Lofthouse charges, it should be a well-kept property. It is inferior to far less expensive properties., and not worth the money. I wpuld suggest taking a walk around the entire property before renting.
We moved into Loft House about a month ago and have only amazing things to say. The location is great (right next to the Caltrain, tons of restaurants, very short walking distance to Macys and Target, only a short drive to a few grocery stores), the apartments themselves are spacious and modern. Alison and Heather in the leasing office are so friendly and helpful, always available to answer questions and very professional. Jibran and Jose have been so helpful since we moved in. Jibran helped install a light/fan in our apartment and helped build furniture, and has always been professional and courteous. Loft House is great!
AMAZING! Seriously, this apartment complex is amazing. The staff is Ll so nice and know everyone, even the kids by name! A,axing pool, gym, and amenities and great location by the cal train and all of Murphy Ave. love it! Will be here for a while!
