Nestled between downtown Fort Worth and nearby Arlington, the East Fort Worth area combines the best of both areas. The residential areas are a welcome escape from the "big city" feel of neighborhoods closer to the downtown area. However, East Forth Worth residents find that they have plenty to do and see and plenty of convenient amenities available to them, right in the neighborhood.
The East Fort Worth area is more diverse than other neighborhoods within the city, in large part because it stretches out through the mid-cities, almost to the Irving and Grapevine areas. From the outer east portion of the city, residents have access to Lake Arlington, numerous major roadways and a wide stretch of the Trinity River. Aditionally, residents can access the downtown area of the city in under 20 minutes from most locations within the outer East Fort Worth neighborhood.

Property Ratings at Lofton Place
I PRAY this is the sign you’re looking for to AVOID THIS APARTMENT at all costs, it is an embarrassment. I never write reviews, but hope this can save someone. If you care about your quality of life (not exaggerating) I beg of you, do NOT move here, there are other apartments. Also, visit this complex more than once, and you’ll see the piles of trash in the streets, gutters hanging from the sides of the building, unlicensed maintenance men that go into your apartment without permission (I had a camera inside of my apartment), and stray cats everywhere. Please do not buy into their cheap apartments and “upcoming renovations” excuse. The property manager SHANNON, is a JOKE and will use her passive attitude to start an argument, this has happened with several residents! No water for days or AC/Heat: A/C and heat has broken down 10 times since living here. Unlicensed maintenance men never fixed the problem. The entire apartment complex was without water for 2 weeks during the holidays and their explanation for fixing it was to give out buckets to take from the dirty pool water to place in our toilets to flush. This is a health hazard! No amenities, pest control, or trash valet: They will still charge you monthly. Mailroom is closed and all of your mail gets redirected or lost to the local post office, packages are also stolen every now and then. The pool hasn’t been open in the 2 years of living here, but can be seen brown and full of “gunk” at the top. Okay, lastly, THERE ARE ROACHES. They do not have pest control here, I have never seen a van, person, or company that provides pest control in 2 years You will pay for amenities that you can’t utilize because they are broken down 90% of the time!
Go ahead and try every other apartment complex on eastchase besides this one. ALL OF THE REVIEWS ARE TRUE. I was in my apartment from may 18th of 2022 - June 20th with no working A/c i was initially told give it 7 - 10 days for the issue to be resolved but it took 30+ days to move me (i have proof of work orders from June of 2021 till may 18th all from the ac. There was a leak and instead of ordering parts when they first noticed they waited till it went all the way out) . That office new i had a newborn because i called the front office (when they answered cause they definitely never do) and corporate to let them know that my baby had developed heat rash and so me just playing the waiting game wasn’t going to work. I had to call code compliance to come out and they said my home was inhabitable and gave the office 24hours to have it fixed. That didn’t do anything. Fast forward to June 20th 2022, we move into a new “move in ready unit” I’ll start off by saying that Code compliance has already been to this NEW unit and it still is NOT in compliance. Thought i was done ? No They told me on June 21- 23rd that someone was going to come in and re wire our laundry room because somehow someway they covered and painted over the outlet. It’s now July 2nd of 2022 and i still cannot use my washer because no one has been sent to fix the issue. The dishwasher in the “ready” apartment had to be replaced as soon as i moved in because it didn’t power on at all. It still reaches 80 degrees in the apartment and they want us to believe it’s normal so bad and i would’ve if code compliance hadn’t came out and said the a/c was up to code. Now for all the troubles you would think that you’d be compensated for the inconveniences…. Oh no hunny it’s against their policy. My rent hasn’t been prorated, I’ve had to buy my own ac unit, I’ve had to place my son in daycare cause he was breaking out in rashes staying home with me. But none of that qualifies for a concession. I’ve called the office multiple times asking for the acting manager Shannon to give me a call back about it and it never happens every time i ask for the Regional manager NOBODY can get her on the phone at all because they don’t have her number… supposedly. It’s ridiculous, ludicrous, a joke honestly. SAVE YOUR MONEY. All the reviews are true. I will say that Nicholas, and the newest lady (at the front desk) are as sweet as pie but that doesn’t negate what’s going on
I have lived here for almost a year and I am anxious to move to another place, the neighborhood is always dirty, the maintenance and office staff never respond, the corridors have no light and my entire stay has been uncomfortable
I have been here for 3 years, and cannot wait to leave. The Management staff has gone downhill tremendously. If you like having no pools for over a year, high crime due to no intervention from Management, and trash literally everywhere... then this may be the place for you. 29 days without water so far this year. 19 days without power so far this year. All due to no infrastructure upgrades for the last 20 years. Maintence might reply to you in 90 days. Might. please stay away.
This complex is reasonably priced however they’ll take your money for the application fees and never reach back out to you if you were approved or not. You give them the date you want to move in and they completely ignore it, they don’t return phone calls the two times I’ve been able to get through. My next place will be the BBB because it doesn’t make sense that part of the application process is to contact your property when ur employees can’t even answer a simple phone! Smh. I’ll be reported the money from my account since no one is professional enough to answer phone calls.
I DON'T recommend Lofton Place. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. If I could give my whole experience 0 stars I would, this is the most unprofessional and unorganized management I've ever dealt with. For one, no one is ever in the office during their work hours posted online. Good luck on trying to call or email them and expect a response back. I've called multiple times a day and no one picks up the phone. Not only do they not return calls, but if you're a future resident trying to apply they take their time with the process and come up with excuses on why. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND MOVE SOMEWHERE MORE PROFESSIONAL. The sad part is they're supposedly under "new" management which is joke. Don't waste your time.
I have lived here at Lofton Place since 2005 and I haven't had any major problems and any minor things they fix quickly. I am also very pleased with the new staff.
Management is nice and professional, which is a plus. Buildings are old and many need repairs so it takes a long time for work orders to be complete. The air conditioners are old and regularly break but won't be fixed if it's under 85 outside. If it's 80, open a window and pray for a cool breeze. But nothing is worse than living amongst folk who do not care about their community. Dog poo is everywhere. It smells bad in the summer. Recently a LOT of new families moved in with a lot of children. The issue-The children don't go to school/are home schooled and they run around all day and night. The parents allow the kids to horseplay outside at night. They play loud music, run, scream, peak in neighbor's windows, break things and just cause chaos. They break the windows out of buildings. Trash is everywhere. When you call Fort Worth PD or the courtesy officer, the kids go inside until security leaves then they're right back outside. There's no such thing as a good nights sleep. Neighbors are tense due to frustration and they scream threats in anger about the noise. If you value your sleep, look elsewhere.
Property has come along nicely and I'm enjoying every minute of it!
This has been the worst experience in an apartment community. Cohen Essray has taken over the property in the last 6-8 months. It is the absolute worst management company that I have seen. Do not expect a call back or your issues to be fixed. They do not care about your issues and the only thing they seem to care about is getting your rent check on time every month. Other than that they will not fix anything and will not even give you a statement each month. I have not received a billing statement in over 6 months now. The A/Cs should cool your home to the temperature that you set it to. This is not the case here and you will end up paying over $200 a month in electric because the A/C does not work properly and their excuse is that the building is old. The amenities that you are being charged for are a joke. The pool is closed all of the time because of the extensive issues it has( it was actually closed by the city for not maintaining an occupancy license since 2017). I would not expect this to be around long at all. If you ask for something from the office, they treat you as if this isn't their job and your an inconvenience to them. The only saving grace that his property has had is the maintenance Engineer Trey and another maintenance Engineer who has been fantastic and wonderful if you need anything. Go straight to trey with your issues as the management here obviously does not care and is not friendly in the slightest.
Lofton Place claims "luxurious renovations, lush landscaping, and ideal location." When we moved in, it looked like our apartment hadn't been cleaned in years. There's a gaping hole in the wall in the laundry closet, none of the kitchen counters are straight, none of the cabinet drawers open/shut properly, half of the electrical outlets don't work, there's so many coats of paint on the walls that it just peels off, and there's paint splatters all over the floors, cabinets, appliances, and countertops. We had two cases of black mold and four flooding incidents through the walls and floors. The landscaping and sidewalks were never clean. We were constantly walking through leaves, rocks, and mud. They also claim that it's a gated community. In the 20 months that we lived there, the gate was functioning once. In fact, they even took the closing gate down. The only positive thing about this place is the maintenance staff. They are fantastic. In summary, this place is a dump. Don't get scammed by their glorious website just like we were.

We're so sorry to hear about your poor experiences at our community! We'd be more than happy to speak with you about your ideas for improvement, so please reach out to our office directly. Our team is aiming to provide only the best for our residents when it comes to our homes and community, so we do hope to speak with you about solutions to these concerns. Thank you!
I’ve lived here for the past few months and have had 0 issues! Maintenance is always there when I need them and the manager Shannon is always there to help! I definitely recommend anyone who’s on the search for an apartment to come here!
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! There have been complaints from most of the residents including myself about the air conditioning. The air conditioning units are really old and are not cooling the apartments. One it gets over 95 degrees outside, the air unit has a hard time keeping up with the temp. I set my air on 72 degrees and the temp in the apartment is 85 degrees. It takes till about 2 am for the air conditioning to reach the set temp. The maintenance men are running around all day temporarily fixing the air units, but really they need to invest in new air conditioning units. Its 109 degrees and they expect you to take take it. I have asked several times for my air to be fixed but no one cares. Sad I cannot wait to move.

We are sincerely sorry for the troubles you have faced with the heat here in our community. Our maintenance team is doing everything they can to keep up with the demands during this heat wave, and apologize that they have not been able to assist you yet. We appreciate the feedback and urge you to give us a call if there is anything else that we can do for you.
I have never in my life been taken care of in a more positive, professional, and caring manner by property management as I have been at Lofton Place. Shannon, Shae, and Casey went above and beyond and I couldn't be more thankful. Not only do I love where I live I love my neighbors also. My apartment is spacious and I'm a super fan of vaulted ceilings. I've enjoyed laying out by the pool and working out in the exercise room. I highly recommend Lofton Place to anyone whom enjoys the apartment lifestyle and all the amenities offered here. Jennifer
The office is ran like a circus. Never any communication between the 3 ladies that work the front office. You will get 3 different reasons/excuses when asking the same question. They do not honor the rent amount they advertise on their website. Our rent is different every single month, but yet my fiancé and I have not done anything different each month to cause these changes. The grounds in this complex are disgusting. While walking my dog, there are piles of dog poop everywhere, chicken bones from chicken wings just thrown around like trash for any animal to attempt to eat on, I have even found raw ground beef thrown out just outside someone's balcony and my dog attempted to eat it while walking him. The maintenance team are amazing and do what they can to keep the appearance of this place clean, but they can only do so much when the office does not relay any issues or problems to them. I have had a reoccurring problem with my front door not locking properly and not staying closed without having to lock it. I have brought it up to the office and have put in a work order for it as well and the office keeps giving me the same response "we will inform the maintenance," but nothing is ever done about it. My fiancé and I are counting down the days to when we can leave this place!

Bailey, we are very sorry to see that you've had these experiences while making your home with us at our community. If you need help interesting your bill, we'd be happy to help. Than small month-to-month changes you're seeing are probably simply a result of changing water and electricity bills. We apologize if it is taking longer than you'd expected for our maintenance team to take a look at your door. If you'd like, you can give us a call to check on the status of your maintenance request whenever is convenient for you. We're always looking for ways to improve the community and make this an even better place to live for our residents, so we appreciate you taking the time to let us know how we're doing.
Take heed to the reviews....This is by far the WORSE staff EVER! Very unorganized, no communication and money hungry! Glad i decided to take my business elsewhere! They just need to throw the entire staff in the trash and start over! ??
I have lived in Lofton Place apartment complex. When I signed the lease, I was super excited to move in. The day we got the keys, walked in and the carpet was filthy. You could see the out line of the previous furniture. It took quite a bit of fighting with the office and a week of waiting to get them to replace the carpet. When we finally moved in, we had to have the office manager and the maintenance staff walk the apartment with us because they did not believe the problem we told them about. After that we were promised that all the problems would be fixed. 10 months later, still nothing. There is a hole in the back fence that everybody uses to come and go. There is nothing like coming home at night to cops with shot guns littered throughout the complex because somebody got shot and the suspect got away through the hole in the back fence. The manager said that they would not be closing it because the tenants are so use to using it, it would just cause more problems. The front gate worked for about a month after new management came in but has since then quit working. We have valet trash pick up but yet there is still trash on the ground all around the dumpster. When it rains, you have to walk through nasty ankle deep water in the parking lot. My rent has a set price but an addition $100 added too it for "aminities." Granted some improvements have happened since the new management took over. I cannot wait to move out. Oh btw, the rent is increasing roughly $200 a month. The prices on here are nowhere near accurate.
This place is terrible. So many issues I'm not sure where to begin. I've been here a year & management has changed about 3 times. Trash all over, slow maintenance, flooding on the patio when it rains & leaking laundry rooms when it gets cold. Oh I forgot to mention the mold. Non functioning gates & random people hanging around. Kids always playing in the parking lot. Don't waste your time looking at the "renovated" unit. Please save yourself a lot of misery and stay away from this place.
This place is a joke. Moved here May 2016, no improvements are worth this price hike. The gate was installed in July 2016 worked 3 days in August and hasn't since. There is a new manager with market price dreams for the below market apartments. I've been hostage in my apartment by wild dogs, riff raf sitting on the steps, and the unknown coming through the rear fence. I was assured that would be closed, yet it's still open. Steer clear.
Although it's under new management, I love Lofton Place! The staff members are amazing and friendly, the complex is peaceful and clean, and my neighbors are cool. The prices are affordable and there's washer/ dryer hookups! It's perfect for my husband and I!
I personally love my apartment. The manager and assistant manger are great. I think that the security to enter the community could be alot better and the grass prettier.
I live in Bentley a Square Apts on Eastchase in Fort Worth , Tx. I have made several reviews on Google about this complex. My lease ends in October and I'm giving my 60 day notice at the end of this month. Too many issues, and a staff with an attitude. Stagnant water, leaking pool, terrible plumbing and sewage, they don't pay their trash and water bill. Dumpsters run over for several days until we complain. Washing machines don't work. Cars get towed even with apt stickers. Found out Bentley gets a percentage of the towing money. Water is black, and dryers never heat up. There's so much more. Maintenance is the absolute worst y'all. Just go to Google and Yelp and see all the reviews. I would not recommend this complex to anyone who is looking for somewhere nice to live.
