Coventry is the largest town in the country’s smallest state, Rhode Island. This quaint, family-friendly town ranges from rural to suburban. There are plenty of lakes and rivers that offer boating, kayaking, and fishing opportunities. The Coventry Greenway is a popular five-mile trail perfect for biking and hiking. Golf courses, public parks, and beautiful nature preserves provide residents with unbeatable views of Coventry’s gorgeous wooded landscape.
Family restaurants are abundant in Coventry, as well as popular chain restaurants, and many can be found along Tiogue Avenue like The Cozy Grill, a great spot for breakfast and lunch. The Coventry Public School District offers options for the residential youth, such as Coventry High School. Walmart, the Home Depot, and other well-known grocery and retail stores reside in town.

Property Ratings at Lofts at Anthony Mill
First off, we’ve had ongoing issues with mice in the building, and despite multiple complaints, management does nothing to address it. It’s clear they don’t take pest control seriously. When we were moving out, I asked if the carpets were new when we moved in, and I was told they’d check the records and get back to me. I never heard back, but then I was charged $800 for carpet replacement that I know the carpets weren’t new when we moved in. That’s just one example of how management isn’t transparent or helpful. There are also constant problems with dog owners not cleaning up after their pets. The stairwells and elevators often smell like urine, and despite multiple complaints from tenants, management does nothing to enforce any rules. They’ll send an email now and then, but it’s all talk—no real action. Once you decide to move out, the lack of care becomes even more apparent. We had a major issue with transferring our electricity. We spent hours on the phone with RI Energy, only for them to tell us they couldn’t take our name off the account unless the landlord called to confirm. The property manager refused to make the call and just passed the buck. The final walk-through was another nightmare. Maria (the property manager) told us everything was fine but then insisted she needed to do another walkthrough with maintenance later that week after we had already left. This felt shady and unprofessional. Additionally, we had numerous issues with maintenance not scheduling repairs properly. From a leaky bathtub faucet to a broken washing machine, many of these issues took over a week to be fixed. When we had an AC leak, maintenance just told us to leave the AC at 75 degrees. Seriously, who runs their AC at 75 in the middle of summer? There are also widespread complaints about mold throughout the building, including in the hallway. Yet, again, management does nothing to resolve these issues. The worst part about living here has been the total lack of communication. Management doesn’t keep tenants informed about important things like fire alarms, emergency evacuations, or even basic snow removal. Emails are vague, and the instructions are often unclear, leaving tenants in the dark. It’s as if they’re hoping we’ll figure everything out on our own. I get it—being a property manager is a job, but this is our home. We pay thousands every month, and we deserve respect and decent service. Unfortunately, that’s something you won’t find at Anthony Mill.
I've been living at Anthony Mill for around a year and a half now, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an apartment in the area. The apartments are a great value for the price, and the location is surprisingly convenient, as you're just 6 or 7 minutes away from Route 2 in Warwick and Route I-95. The Coventry Bike Path also runs right along the rear of the building, which is great if you have a dog. The apartments themselves are beautiful, with high ceilings and original wood floors. Despite being a renovated mill, the insulation in the building in good—you barely ever hear your neighbors, which was my major concern upon moving in. Plus, the staff are all very nice and helpful, and we've never waited more than a day to have a maintenance request attended to. My only real negatives about Anthony Mill are 1. there's extremely limited guest parking (5 spaces), especially for the size of the building, and 2. there's limited "dog-friendly" space and a few owners refuse to pick up their pet's waste (why, though?), which management periodically says they're going to crack down on but never actually does.

I have lived at the Anthony Mill for 3 years now and it is a great place to live. after owning my own house for 30 years I had to sell it due to an unexpected medical issue. I had no idea where I was going to live but had been passing by the Anthony Mill every day on the way home so one day I decided to stop in for a tour. after the tour I decided that I wanted to live there so I filled out an application and went home. about one week later I received a call from the leasing office saying an apartment was going to be available in one week. a week later I moved into my new apartment. the apartment was spotless with a fresh coat of paint and a new carpet in the bedroom. I was glad I had chosen the Anthony Mill to move to. I had been apprehensive about moving anywhere but after moving in all my fears were put to rest. The best part of Anthony Mill at least to me was the fact that it was maintenance free. I had no grass to cut and no snow to shovel. Heaven, the only responsibility you have during or after a snow storm was to clean off your car and move it so the lot could be plowed. the staff does a great job keeping the lot and sidewalks free of snow and ice. if you have a problem in your apartment you only have to call or visit the office and let them know and they will fill out a work order and maintenance will take care of the problem usually within one day. I would recommend anyone looking to downsize or looking for a maintenance free living to seriously consider renting at the Anthony Mills. it is a pet friendly place and a great place to live and raise a family. I know that I am extremely satisfied with my move there.
