Gated, secured parking, electric car charger, lawns for sunning that have no pesticides, enjoy a nice sunny day or a picnic, tall loft ceilings, all modern systems recently restored bathrooms, kitchens, modern conveniences of loft modern living. large windows with brand new energy efficient storm windows, laundry room, inside bike storage, in unit front load stacked washer and dryers. one block from loblolly, many apartments have original hardwood floors, other apartments have original finished concrete- and yes, one apartment is even the boy’s bathroom, Concrete floors are probably from chemistry rooms. 206 was the principal’s office! secured mail room, glass recycling, interior package drop-off. community space for tenant classes, right in the heart of SoMa. Steps away from the Villa Marie. Lobby full of local art Kushmal, handicap accessibility to many apartments. Elevator. Grand historic staircases This neoclassical brick beauty at 1401 Scott St. in Downtown Little Rock originally opened its doors in 1905 as Little Rock High School. Purchased by Downtown Dwellings in 2002, Jill and Mark have restored each of the units. Now named the Lofts at SoMa, the building still has its historic charm on the exterior, with the Corinthian columns, and the interior, with restored hardwood floors, tall ceilings, and exposed ductwork. Each unit is thoughtfully renovated to include modern conveniences such as updated kitchens with stainless steel appliances, bathrooms with modern vanities and an in-unit washer/dryer. Some of the classroom atmospheres remain with the large chalkboards in many units! Lofts range in size from 700 - 1290 sq ft and with rent starting as low as $895. The Lofts at SoMa also include gated parking, electric car charging, and secure indoor bike storage. Located just one block from the buzzing SoMa (South Main Street) district in downtown Little Rock. It's an easy walk or bike ride to restaurants, shops, museums, and theaters
