Located in Lake County, Clermont is a pleasant city about 30 minutes due west of Orlando. Clermont is a classic Central Florida suburb filled with single-family homes on spacious lots, commercial developments, and plenty of outdoor recreation. Routes 27 and 50 intersect towards the center of town making travel within and outside of the city a breeze. If you’re looking for locally owned businesses, head to West Montrose Street, the central corridor of Downtown Clermont. This street is lined with everything from bubble tea to southern comfort food. Property Ratings at Lofts at South Lake
The property manager Coryn was a doll during my tour and the complex it’s self was gorgeous!
Prior to moving out, a walk through was done with the assistant manager. No mention was made of extensive cleaning or need for touch up painting. My security deposit was reduced by $120.00 for cleaning the unit. He stated that this was necessary since the unit required a more extensive cleaning which is above normal wear and tear. Another $34.00 was charged for touch up paint since the assistant manager explained that he observed excessive scuffs and marks on the wall. I thought a final walk through with the assistant manager would highlight these issues. Renters be aware since they are trained to keep your money and know how to keep it legally. After such an experience at the Loft, I would NOT recommend that apartment!!!
I have lived here at The Lofts at Southlake since the beginning! I came when the property had just been built, and I've seen many positive changes! Our Management team, Coryn & Louie, are always helpful, and eager to assist in any way to make your stay here wonderful! We have the most fantastic Maintenance staff , who work tirelessly to make sure everything is in tip top shape.. If you have a maintenance issue, they will have the problem solved quickly & efficiently! Along, with the major upgrades, (recently added) this is, by far the most beautiful place you'll find!
I’ve called the lofts at south lake home for just about three years now. We have recently had some management changes and I can say truthfully say they literally bend over backwards to help residents call this place there home. The office manager Coryn is respectful and makes sure your home is move in ready and up to par. Louie the leasing agent is great has such a fun personality and really easy to talk to. I’m not sure what the lofts would do without the two of them. The new maintenance staff is great, they are willing to work with your schedule and get the job done right the first time. They are respectful of you and your home they keep the property running smoothly. The apartments come in many different sizes and shapes ( I’ve lived in four) and they were all in great condition. Whether you are looking to upsize or downsize or maybe just find a place where you can feel relaxed look no further you’ve found it. Welcome home.
I visited the property since my lease will soon be up and I had a great experience with the staff.
The staff is nice and friendly which is great. However, the rent was increased significantly this past year and I feel there hasn't been a good cause for it. The parking lot floods during bad storms and this is Florida so bring your flood boots to get to your car. It takes months to get certain items repaired due to supply issues. I have a kitchen sink that has been detached from the counter for months now. Leaks to my stuff below whenever I use it. The gym equipment needs repair and there is nothing to wipe down the equipment with. People leave trash piling up outside the trash rooms. There is always the smell of people smoking weed here on their balconies so leave your patio doors closed. This is a non-smoking facility by the way and there are cigarette butts everywhere. Broken "No Parking" signs on the ground. Neighbors that like to blast their music next door and in the parking lot. Overgrown grass. They installed a door security system that you can open from your phone to buzz someone in that does not work properly. They made it so that you need a key card to get in from the parking lot so if you forget it and you have groceries it is a nightmare. I don't know why this system was installed because anyone can get in so it isn't very secure. The fire department is here very frequently and nobody seems to know why. There isn't enough visitor parking spaces apparently because visitors park where ever they want to include in front of the fire hydrants (safety hazzard) in residential parking areas. It's one thing to have all these issues and be doing something about it but it's upsetting to be told you have to pay hundreds of dollars more a month as you watch the property decline. I am not the only one that has all these concerns. I am just the only one that will say something about it publicly. I feel people should know ahead of time where they are moving to.

Very quick response to the couple of maintenance items I had.
My parked car was the victim of a hit and run in the gated parking deck. The damage was over $2,000 and there were no cameras to catch the incident. I no longer felt safe knowing that either a dishonest resident did this or that were they letting their friends into the private parking area.
Friendly and responsive management and maintenance staff. Community common areas and grounds are kept prestine.
Fabulous place to live, Bailey & Sammi Are amazing and maintenance crew is great
The amenities are a good reason to invite others to move in.
This is a great place. However, there isn't many places to walk your dogs.
Cleanliness, friendly staff, looks high end at a reasonable price.
So far everything is great. Nice and clean and office responds to our needs.
The ONLY downside to this amazing apartment building is lack of guest parking... that being said, that is my only negative comment.
It's not your regular apartment community. Feels more like a high end resort.
We would recommend this apartment community because it is small and has a "family" feel that makes you truly at home.
New building, good amenities and security. Professional, responsive management staff.
I would absolutely recommend this community because of the location, price, and amicability of the main office staff.
