Property Ratings at Loma Vista
Apartment upstairs flooded, which then caused our apartment to flood. Damaged the ceiling, walls, baseboards and flooring. Guess who got the bill? Yup, they refused to remove the charges and now we are in COLLECTION!!! We have all the photos, and it’s on file but management doesn’t even return calls or emails. If you want your credit unfairly ruined this is the place for you. 1188 apartment- so if it smells moldy future resident, you know why.
My brothers truck was stolen & they did absolutely nothing. Their security is not good and they only have cameras in the front office that don’t actually capture anything. They never answer the phone & when the call gets transferred to the off property team they never get back to you. The pools never really open, & they’re strict on what you keep on your balcony (although this doesn’t really affect me I thought it be important to mention). The only 3 positive things is 1 The actual apartment layout is great and unique. 2 the maintenance team is great especially Marcos he always takes care of us in a timely manner & 3 I’ve never struggled with cockroaches or bugs in my unit which I feel like is rare for apartments besides the one time my apartment got infested with bed bugs last year. There is lots of negative experiences I’ve had but this is just a brief summary. It should be included that there is now a new management team, which is why I won’t include everything but the rent has gone up so much since then when all they’ve done is paint the outside. Lots of residents are moving because of this change.
I promise you that if you move here, you WILL have to get used to scorpions being inside your apartment. I’ve had about 30 in less that two years.

I applied was excited, beautiful community, floor plan looked amazing, and the price was decent. They told me 2 bed 2 bath are available, so I applied. Called two days later to see how the application is going. They said," we have new management it should take one more day and we have availability for the 2 bed/2 bath". Day 3 called "oh yes sorry, still going through your application it should take one more day, and there might be a chance you might get the apartment there is people ahead of you know. Day 5, Yes we are still looking at your application, it should take one more day, but we don't have any 2 bed/2 bath available for this month anymore. Day 6 and I gave up, "still looking at my application". It takes most places 3 day to know if you got approved or not. (All the ones I applied at today 1-2 days). Waste of time and money. Dont do that, do not apply here

Im currently living here at Loma Vista, one main concern is that they don't fix your stuff in a timely matter. I have been out of a wash and dryer for almost three weeks cause they refuse to come fix it. I've also had work orders canceled and never fixed. Another worry is security and safety. None of the security gates have worked for about two months... After being told they would be fixed within a week or two that never happen. My neighbor downstairs had come home to a naked person that broke into there apartment... I wish they were more concerned about stuff like this, not to mention a kid drowned not to long ago in the second pool, due to no surveillance and poor security.
I went in the other day and a leasing agent by the name of Mona I believe help me out with a 1 bedroom. She was so sweet and helpful. I was skeptical about going in since I read the last reviews about horrible service, but let me tell you they got things under control. She informed me about all the amenities and really explained everything in Detail with a positive and caring personality.
Horrible place to live. Loud music every day and night. A staff member can walk by like nothing is wrong. And if you call to complain there is no guarantee that they will do anything. Screaming children all the time. That seems to be the norm in this apartment complex. Could not get any worse.
Make sure to see the unit you are actually renting because the model is a lie. My actual unit is old and need to be remodeled for real. I regret not seeing it first cause I would have not accepted it. It hasn't even been a month since I been here and I've been needing maintenance every since. Its ok as far as the area
They threatened an evict on me and gave me a notice, saying one date and then say another, saying they didnt receieved emails or phone calls. I work outside of office hours and they knowingly know, I pay every month and I communicate every month with them if there is an issue. They don't communicate with each other AT ALL. 1 person says another, another says another and then when they are all together they point the finger. They have new staff, so hopefully things start going more smoother. But from before I even moved in they quoted me 1 price, so got money order and then I came down and was told another thing. All they said was sorry, we need an additional $xxx, before we can give you keys. Random fees, no communication, going back on verbal communication.
Do not move here!!! The staff in the office do not communicate information to each other very well and it will eventually cost you addition deposits elsewhere and/or extra money to pay Pinnacle Management Properties in a 30 day period or it will go to collections.
Let me tell you my experience, the apartments are old everything is always breaking and they take forever to fix it. That isnt my biggest problem though. My BIGGEST ISSUE with this place is the management. THEY HAVE ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE ESPECIALLY THE MANAGER. They try to charge you certain fees that shouldn't be put on your rent and when you ask them to do something about it they "temporarily" fix the problem and still continue to throw those same fees every time you need to pay rent. I have been inconvenienced SO MANY TIMES. I was treated with SO MUCH DISRESPECT when we asked them to fix it this month. I have always paid on time and this time around I wasnt able to becuase they DID NOT do there jobs when they told us they would. On top of it they threatened our home safety over there mistake and even said they were the ones being inconvenienced. When wait I'm trying to be a good tenant and all I asked for was to waive all fees. This place is a joke STAY AWAY!!!! And I will also be in contact with the regional manager becuase this type of issue shouldn't be happening!
DO NOT RENT HERE!! I arrived at 3:30 pm on Saturday, I asked to see the model 2 bedroom apartment, the leasing agent said she cannot show it. I told her I called that morning and the lady who answered said she can show the model. The leasing agent just said, I cant show the model today. I told her I just drove 30 minutes to see it...she just shrugged her shoulders....she made no apologies or seemed to care....If you get this kind of BAD customer service when you come to view their property....IMAGINE what it will be like as a tenant.
If I could give this place a double negative I would! They are lazy and rude! I'm paying for a 2 bed 2 bath and from the day I moved in I've had issues. My master bathroom sink was broken for 3 months and after months of complaining I finally got corporates number. I had to go to the court building and serve them for them to "fix" the issues I had. They had to come back 2 weeks later and replace the same sink that's had been broken for months. It's supposed to be a smoke free community LIES! Roaches are everywhere, people are always hanging outside my window, somebody is ALWAYS in my parking spot. The gates are always broken or open. All of this and I've only been here since March of 2016 and I'm ready to break my lease ASAP PLEASE TAKE HEAD AND DONT MOVE HERE!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE KIDS
It's peaceful and quiet. Maintenance is very helpful. The office staff is friendly. It's smoke free and clean. Haven't had an issue with my apartment since I've been living here. I'll definitely be renewing my lease next year!
