Property Ratings at Lone Oak Apartments
The apartments are beautiful, well -maintained, have great amenities. I have been here for a few months now and absolutely love living here! The office and maintenance staff are friendly and the property manager makes sure that any issue I have gets taken care of quickly!
Currently sitting in my 90 degree apartment, day #2, with no AC and the building manager told me nothing to do about it. He invited me to come read my lease agreement to me about how it isn't their responsibility to do anything about it and it'll "be fixed tomorrow" (that's what I was told yesterday as well). I asked they put me up somewhere like a hotel/motel, and he giggled like my ask was a joke...
Lone oak has been through three mangers in less than 2 years. Each one is worse and worse. There are two main issues that they can change to make it better to live there. New main mainatenance man and better management. When a tenant has three broken, major appliances, and they are not getting fixed, the management should be helping you not trying to hurt you as a tenant. There is a very bad issue with managers of properties in North Texas and it needs to change, but this is by far the worst. The main maintenance guy says all of his work orders are resolved when they visibly are not. I wish I could post proof on this review but you’re not able to. The main issue that cannot be changed is how these apartments were built. Hearing your neighbors go to the bathroom, snore from their bedroom into your bedroom, and a loud tapping noise that comes into your apartment from the walls at any given time. If you live here and you have no complaints and nothing wrong you are fine if you have a legitimate complaint renter beware. There are many properties that are newere and built a little better so choose wisely. I had two children rent. Here are two different apartments and my daughter had no AC for four months in 120° and no recourse at the time but there is recourse and there are people that need to come forward to share that they’ve gone through the same thing as my children. Then and only then will things change.
I've been here for several months and I can honestly say this is the best apartment complex I have ever lived in and I have lived in quite a few. I generally consider myself a low maintenance resident, keeping to myself and fixing what I can instead of calling maintenance for every bump and creak, mostly because I don't like the idea of strangers in my living space with their shoes on. With that being said, when I moved in, there was damage to the patio door and blinds and when I alerted the office, they fixed it within 24 hours. The amenities that are included in the apartments are absolutely worth the price. Obviously, this is an apartment complex so you will hear your neighbors (duh, you share walls) and you will have to deal with the people who choose not to honor the apartment rules (cleaning up after their animals, blocking sidewalks by rear in parking - ADA issue), but it isn't overwhelming and I have seen the office let everyone know when it's getting out of hand. I appreciate the balance between letting people live and keeping a standard for a community worth living in. The complex is always clean and the ladies in the office have always been pleasant. Kiersley is such a blessing! She is just a ray of sunshine and she has such a welcoming disposition. I don't know the names of the other ladies but I've enjoyed speaking to them as well. Overall, these apartments are a hidden gem. You will love living here if you remember the following things: *Pay your bills ON TIME or pay the late fee (rent, water, trash, sewage and pest control are conveniently located on the portal and are way less expensive then most apartments I've seen so far). *Complete your lease with a 60 day notice (or pay the fines without complaint if you choose to break it). *Keep realistic expectations for apartment living (the staff are not at your beck and call, but they are incredibly courteous and responsive).

Property Manager at Lone Oak Apartments, Responded To This Review
Hi , thank you for your kind review; we are happy to pass along your comments to the team here at Lone Oak ! Please don't hesitate to reach out if there's anything additional we can do for you.
Loud dogs at all hours. Super thin walls, can hear everything neighbors do, meaning they can hear you too. Parking lot packed in, have to squeeze in and out of car. Pool-raunchy loud music, cursing, drinking excessive, and not a family environment. Staff in office-come across as condescending. Not happy here. Will not renew lease.
It's very pretty but walls are thin and you can hear everything in your neighbors apartment. You get charged every month for "valet" trash, package mailbox and first floor premium rent. Trash bins by mail and dumpsters are always full and overflowing. Office staff is extremely rude and act like you are beneath them. Rent is going up $400/month so really not worth it to live here with all the new apartments coming to Weatherford.
