Property Ratings at Longfellow Commons
Living in a privately owned H.U.D. building really has its challenges. Of course the apartments are small, but much better than a homeless shelter. I don't have to mow or plow. Most areas are clean. My biggest problem is that the company is trying to please stock holders. Roof repairs came too late to prevent water damage, carpets need replacing, and the repair list goes on. Thank goodness for a very reliable maintenance crew that arrives at your apartment pretty soon after a big problem is reported. No five star because of the very, very quick turn around with managers. It is very unsettling for the tenants.
