The community feels safe and welcoming, very clean and cozy units,the staff is incredibly friendly, The location is perfect, close to shops and public transportation, yet surprisingly quiet.

Living here has been such a great experience! The office staff are super friendly and always so helpful whenever I need something. They really make you feel welcome, which I appreciated a lot when I first moved in. The whole place has a really nice, inviting vibe. Plus, the parking is super convenient—there’s always a spot close by, so I never have to stress about that. I’m really happy I chose this place

I love this Botique Apartment style living. Clean, friendly and quite neighborhood. Loren is a great play to lay your head if your single, family, with a partner or furbaby. Loren is for you.

Not too happy so far and I’m trying my best to be patient and positive. My fiance and I moved here a few days ago and I’m already having mixed feelings about choosing here, truly. We had a pretty smooth move in for the most part and the neighbors are very friendly and welcoming. I don’t like the lack of communication experienced so far i.e. the leasing office hasn’t replied back to a single email since we applied- you have to call them. The walls are SUPER THIN and I can hear our neighbor’s conversations clearly, verbatim daily. I don’t think your preferences actually make a difference after you tour— more of a protocol, conversation piece at best. We are in an ADA apartment and had no clue about this (wasn’t on the floor plan site and no one mentioned this when we applied for this unit), but we are making the best of it. I’m extremely sensitive to noise and know this is going to be a VERY long 14 months unless we break our lease, which I’m already strongly considering, unfortunately.

I’ve lived here for two years now. Everyone in the leasing office is helpful and friendly. Maintenance requests are addressed quickly. Overall, I’ve loved living here.

Hello I moved to the Loren and really enjoy the building. There's a great population of people that live here, and the building is very well kept. The apartments are spacious with nice updates and finishes. There's a great gym, a nice business center, and wonderful areas to mingle with other residents. Wine Down are a great way to meet your neighbors! The shuttle that takes residents to and from the metro is wonderful. It makes a work commute nearly nonexistent. There is always space in the garage and maintenance responds quickly to requests. The icing on the cake is that you are located right in the middle of everything. You're close to DC, Clarendon,va , silver spring,Md and Alexandria,va Lots of shopping and food options right down the street. Would definitely recommend!

Nice building but has a couple issues: smelly hallways, small pool, non private club house, messy mail room. Also ac system on the walls are noisy

It is a good place to live. The building offers a nice club room with a spacious gym which makes you want to visit it frequently. The property is located very close to several grocery shops and restaurants which makes it an ideal place to live.

The amenities and services are top knotch. I moved here in May and management has already changed for the better. Shout out to Moe (assistant manager) who Lastly, I cannot say enough positive things about the maintenance staff. The gentleman that assistants with maintenance requests is timely accurate, and is willing to help in a pinch.

Really great management and staff. The other residents are also so kind. A lady even helped me move my giant package (it was my entire bed lol) all the way to my doorstep from the mail room. The sweetest!

The Loren is a community unlike any other! Whenever I tell other Virginians I live there, they all say they want to as well!! The amenities are beautiful, but the customer service (Bea the assistant manager) is the main reason I felt so confident in signing here.

I was sold on the Loren from the great tour with Paul, the assistant property manager. He showed me what it would be like to live at this property and showed me a lovely unit that would suit my needs perfectly. My top requirements include security, low-rise living, and noise reducing walls. The Loren offers all of these things and more. Everyone Ive encountered seems friendly and approachable.

I’ve been living here since January and with every month it keeps getting better and better. Kristen (manager) is amazing and is always available whenever I need assistance. The amenities are beyond my expectations and am so glad I picked the Loren as my home. The location has everything you could need and is so convenient.

I downsized a year ago and moved closer to work. I love the Loren - clean, quiet, courteous management, and in a secure environment. Great kitchen, spacious cabinets and enough counter tops to actually prepare meals. I particularly love that each unit has its own laundry, and that the gym is open 24x7 by key fob.

I just moved into the Loren and have had all positive experiences. The staff is very welcoming and help out every way they can. The property now has several businesses that just make living there even better. Looking forward to the next year and possibly more.

I have lived at Loren for just over two years now and have really enjoyed my time here. The apartments are nice and well-priced for the area. The staff is great - Kristen and Veronica are both very friendly and helpful, and maintenance is awesome as well. The proximity to the city is great and there are several restaurants and shops nearby. Also worth noting they have taken COVID seriously and done a good job enforcing social distancing and sanitary practices.

I have been living at Loren for 3 years and I have really enjoy it here! The building and amenities are beautiful. My apartment is nice and spacious for the price, LOVE my balcony! One of my favorite things it that there is always parking available for guest.

I’ve lived at Loren for 6 months now and I have loved it so far. The staff members are all very friendly and Veronica will make your leasing process quick and easy. The maintenance staff are always on call, very nice, and are the fastest I’ve seen in any apartment complex. I always have short conversations with them whenever I run into them and it’s nice having friendly people around here. The gym is very clean and has everything I need for my workouts. With covid, I was a bit weary about working out in there but other residents seem to be wiping everything down and respect your personal space. The hallways are always extremely clean and there’s an Amazon hub room for all of your packages. Loren is pet friendly and has two potty stations with bags and trash which makes life a lot easier with two dogs. I’m on the first floor and don’t have any complains about noise- which is a first for me! The heated parking garages are a life saver during these colder months and I feel safe being on the first floor with the gated community. I haven’t had a chance to use the pool due to covid, but it looks nice! My favorite things about my unit are the super tall ceilings, updated appliances, and spacious floor plan. Loren also has certain WDU units if you qualify. It’s worth looking into if you are trying to find more affordable options. Lastly, orange theory fitness just opened right outside, and Jon Smith Subs is amazing! Definitely recommend checking Loren out.

I have enjoyed my time so far at Loren. The apartments are really nice for a fair price. I enjoy having updated and modern appliances and wood floors. My apartment feels very spacious. Everything is nearby and its a short drive to DC and Arlington. The restaurants around the area are so great and shopping is very close by. There is also a small park within walking distance for those with dogs. The building and parking garages are very secure which gives me peace of mind. They have taken COVID seriously which I also appreciate. Sometimes there is noise, but that is to be expected in any apartment situation. No major complaints here.

I am a new resident here and moved in during the pandemic. In the beginning, I was worried about how this would play out but as I continue to reside here, I am content with my choice. Loren does a great job emphasizing social distancing that I feel safe walking around and living here. Loren is very clean and organized. I have not encountered any troubles while living here and I hope to continue to see so! Pros: Really nice apartments at a fair price for the area, walking distance to downtown Falls Church, a couple grocery stores, and East Falls Church metro. Gym and TV/game lounge areas are also nice amenities, but hard to use in the current COVID environment. Maintenance requests receive quick response. Cons: Some neighbors can be loud, including pets which are often barking in adjacent apartments or in the courtyard where their owners let them out. Some amenities discussed on our tour (fire pit, grill) are not actually maintained or do not work.

Businesses didn't have much guidance at the beginning of the pandemic, but The Loren took as many proactive actions as they could until it was more clear what would be best practices. Our amenities were closed for a bit (including the business room), which, while frustrating some, in retrospect was a smart move and signified they cared for everyone's health. The amenities are now open (with limited capacity), hand sanitizing stations in every public space/room, masks if needed (including those coming in for a tour), and politely holding those accountable who are not adhering to the limited capacity rule or mask recommendations. The property is well kept and clean as always (I've noticed the cleaning team paying more attention to things like elevator buttons, etc,.) but with what we're all dealing with now, the above makes a big difference to me in not only their standards but how concerned they are with keeping everyone safe.

Everything has been very smooth, from the time we scheduled a tour to the time we moved in. The staff is very helpful, and we are extremely satisfied with living at Loren so far. It is always clean, parking garage is easy and there is always space, amenities are nice, and maintenance are quick and efficient.

Living at the Loren provides a clean, safe, and quiet environment whether you are single, have a family or anything in between!

Helpful and kind leasing agents kind of run the show here. They do the best they can with their limited hours and staff. Pros- the apartment is generally quiet and the community members are pretty respectful. The place is kept very clean and the amenities are small but nice. The pool is very tiny and shallow, giving the lifeguard lots of time to nap on the job. Seriously, on several occasions I would be there tanning with a friend and our conversation would be interrupted with how loud his snoring was. In general work orders are completed quickly. Cons- The location sucks as everything is just out of walking distance, and if you have an apartment facing Arlington Blvd. you will hear all of the commuter and emergency vehicle noise early every morning. The shuttle to the metro doe NOT run on weekends, and the parking garage door regularly has problems with not opening (when you’re trying to get in AND out). The Loren’s package system is also incredibly frustrating- to the point I stopped getting packages delivered to my home address because of it. They do not have enough amazon lockers to accommodate all of their residents, and packages will not be delivered to your door. Because of this you have to somehow get home from work and make it to the leasing office before they close if you want to get your package. If the package is supposed to be delivered and there is no one in the leasing office to leave it with your package will be left behind a bush by the front door right there for everyone driving on Arlington Blvd. to see. Overall my experience at the Loren okay, nothing special and I was very happy to move away to somewhere with a 24 hr concierge for packages and more things to do nearby.

Noise issue #1: There is seemingly NO SOUND INSULATION between units. Just walk down the halls and you can clearly hear people's conversations from their units. Wait for the elevator and you can hear residents stomping about and talking above you. The ceilings and walls are paper thin so there is CONSTANT NOISE TRANSFER. It’s gotten so bad that our entire ceiling shakes when the people upstairs walk around and my wife and I have had to resort to sleeping with ear plugs plus I have to wear noise canceling headphones at all times. We even have a sound machine going 24/7 to dull the noise but to no avail. Management responses so far: 1) some noise is to be expected with apartment living (we’ve lived in 9 apartment buildings around the country without any issues - in fact, I’ve left positive reviews for those facilities). 2) you can call non-emergency police during late night hours (not appropriate since the noise is not our neighbors’ fault...not like they’re blasting music). 3) we can give your upstairs neighbors a small credit to purchase a rug to reduce the sound of foot traffic (bedrooms are carpeted and noise still comes through; doesn’t address scratching and banging noises against the walls nor the ceiling vibrations). 4) you can break your lease and move (needless to say a big, costly hassle for us and doesn’t make sense since our lease ends in mid-Aug anyway, which they are well aware of). Noise issue #2: Earlier in our lease there was an entirely separate noise issue caused by some loud machine in the sub-basement. There was a loud mechanical clanging and thud directly behind our bedroom wall. Try sleeping with that. I told management and they didn’t know what it was but they would look into it. Took them several days to address it, the noise went away for a few days, then came back. I went back and forth with management several times like this because it kept coming back. In total that noise lasted for well over a month and still recurs occasionally. Noise issue #3: Finally, for the first few months we were here, the fire alarms went off with unusual frequency including once at 1am on a Saturday because someone decided to set it off by smoking inside the building. Felt like undergrad all over again.
