Property Ratings at Lorenzo At East Mil
They rarelly have the water working, maintenance is in extreme hard to get and when they are around they don't have the equipment to fix the problems so better get ready to fix out of your pocket.
Property Manager at Lorenzo At East Mil, Responded To This Review
We're truly sorry to hear about the problems you've encountered. We understand how important it is to have a proper maintenance, and we apologize that this wasn't your experience. We are taking your feedback into account to improve our services and make sure these issues don't recur in the future.
I ran into issues with this apartment complex before I even moved in. The day before I was supposed to move in I was notified the apartment was not ready despite the fact I had prepaid and had my move in day already booked. I was finally offered a different apartment after a lot of back and forth. The pictures online are nothing like the actual apartments you will live in. There is no hardwood floors, nice cabinets, or anything else shown. Instead your apartment will look like it hasn't been touched since the 1980s with kitchen cabinets that are falling apart, appliances that don't work, and more pet roaches than you can count. Upon move in I was greeted by roaches everywhere, a nasty smell throughout the apartment, and a bathroom with a toilet and tub full of stains that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. Any maintenance issues you have will require multiple phone calls to rectify, or in some cases they will never bother to fix. My toilet leaked constantly, I put in a maintenance request 3 months before I moved out, and despite multiple calls and emails it was never fixed. My lease was finally up February 25 and I was happy to get out of dodge. Unfortunately I have been unable to close this chapter as they continue to send me rent bills for March and April despite the fact my lease was up and I moved out in February. I was expecting to get my security deposit back since I left the apartment clean and roach free, but that has been a daily fight as well since no one will return my phone calls. My best advice would be to stay away from Lorenzo at East Mil.

We’re truly sorry to hear about the unpleasant experience you had with us. We strive for high standards and your situation reflects that we've missed the mark. We assure you we'll address the maintenance issues, cleanliness standards, and communication promptly to improve our service. Please accept our sincere apologies as this is not reflective of our apartments’ features or customer service.
Ah, The Lorenzo at East Mil, the epitome of "luxury" living—if your idea of luxury involves a kiddie pool, a makeshift gym, and ghost-town community areas. We pay top dollar for not one, but two of these esteemed 3-foot deep pools, though only one is functional—the other must be an avant-garde statement piece. Our gym membership fees have doubled since we had to outsource our workouts due to the gym's alluring combination of three lonely machines and air circulation that emulates a sarcophagus. As for the community areas we subsidize, their functionality rivals that of a solar-powered flashlight. Our 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, 800 square foot apartment in this less-than-ideal location comes with a price tag that must have been inspired by abstract expressionism. Needless to say, as our lease draws to a close, we're eagerly counting down the days until we can bid farewell to The Lorenzo at East Mil and embark on a quest for greener, more cynical pastures.

I moved here in a crunch because at the time it was affordable. The area is not nice and don’t let these pictures deceive you because the apartments DO NOT look like the pictures. Maintenance came to fix an issues 5 different times because they kept putting the wrong caulking, bugs EVERYWHERE, the office is NEVER available in person or on the phone, this is just a complex full of lies. At the end they were trying to charge me my full rent for only 6 days. Please avoid this place at all costs.
Por su accesibilidad y precios unicos, un lugar digno para vivir
They never fix anything. Roaches, walls are so thin and had cracks in walls first day I moved in. Mold in the kitchen they only painted over. Say the extra charges are for delivery or trash but they don't help with any of that. Gym is closed since I got here, pool is as well. It sucks just dont do it.
Don’t move here unless you want bugs and ants roaming all around yo stuff ants be all in my bed i went to the office to complain multiple times also AC DOES NOT WORK please don’t waste you’re time moving to this filthy place i see why no one is paying them anything i won’t either until they do they job
Car windows get smashed, your house broken into, the so called upgrades are just a bad cover up for what is underneath. Roaches are in every apartment no matter how much you clean. Mgmt has done NOTHING to prevent these break-ins. There is no security, no gym, pool barely ever opens, trash is everywhere.
DETAILED REVIEW ALERT!!!! Not worth moving to. renovations and all still not worth the price for what you deal with and property itself. Their photos are not the reality of the place. From move in the only pleasant experience was when they wanted to make you a resident. I have a 2bed 2 bath. We can only use 1 bathroom because the other has been broken since move in in November! There's a door to the master that has not been working since move in also. To work the smart home items in the apartment, that YOU are paying monthly additional for the hub, I NEVER RECEIVED. I did not even get information on how to use it until after 2 months of being a resident. When the maintenance staff changed my locks at move in they lost their key and now are asking me to bring my 1 key for them to make a copy. So who has a key to my apartment? and why if it was lost wasn't I offered to have my locks changed.. I have had to take off of work multiple times and waited for maintenance to come to fix issues. They never come most of the time when they say and you will never get a courtesy call to say anything. I hate hounding the complex for things I listed as an issue at move in. Also the property is not in the best condition. There has been glass, cups, spiders in the stairwells since move in and I expect it to be there at move out honestly. At this point I am trying to find another complex and pay to break my lease or just report to the BBB. Staff are sweet most of the time but there is a bit of attitude rather than empathy to what residents, who pay to be here, are going through. With the amount of issues I have had along with emails and calls you would expect to hear from the property manager herself. I have never heard her voice nor seen her stand even when her staff are busy in the office.
If you want roaches, overflowing trash and a broken a.c move here. Because that’s all they have to offet

Thanks for reaching out. We appreciate your helpful feedback and apologize for any inconvenience that you have encountered. You can either submit a maintenance request through your resident portal or reach out to the office and one of our agents will assist you.
This complex is has been the worst experience in my renting history for numerous reasons. For starters, when I first sat down and did a tour of the property, they had a special for me to move in Dec of 2019 with a free month of rent. Long story short, my property agent refused to answer her phone and never sent me any of my new lease information until the daya of, they changed my move in date on me and tried to charge me extra and the day of my move in i had no electricity in my kitchen at all. For 3-4 days I had to wait for electricians to come and fix the issue. The properties pool has been closed down the ENTIRE duration of my lease so far, it is not August, as well as the gym AND the laundry facilities are always filthy and out of order as half of the washers or dryers never work. (I was also told there were no one bedroom units with washers or dryers and that was a lie.) Fast forward to now, it has been a MONTH of absolutely minimal communications regarding my A/C unit being out of order. For three days my apartment was at 100 degrees during July with NO answer from the community leasing office. I called and texted and they ignored every attempt. It took me leaving voicemails to maintenance before anyone showed up. The first man who came did not speak any English and was not able to communicate any issues and simply said he could not fix it. The next day two more gentleman show up and say the issue cannot be fixed that we now have to wait until MONDAY (three days later) to get our AC back. It took me BEGGING for a window unit to even get help. DO NOT RENT HERE IF YOU WANT A LEASING OFFICE THAT CARES. MY AC IS STILL NOT FIXED.

Thanks for reaching out. We are sorry to hear that you're having a difficult time getting through to us and completely understand your frustration. During this time of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of our staff and residence. Due to CDC guidelines, our staff has had to cut back how many agents we have in the office and our maintenance team is working hard to address all concerns, this has caused a lag in our response time and we ask that you be patient with us during this time. We also ask that you please leave a detailed message with your full name, a unit number, and details regarding your concern so that we may assist you as quickly as possible. To help speed up this process, please send a new detailed email to lorenzo-a@m.knck.io so that your request will be a fresh entity. We appreciate your patience and look forward to your email.
He asks you for an application of $ 150 with a deposit of $ 150 and they do not approve it, they leave you waiting, sowing hopes and then they keep the money from the application.
I submitted an application on August 27th along with $300+, and I have yet to receive a response. I called the numbers listed and emailed numerous times. I wouldn't be too upset if I didn't already invest any money into this place. I just need a response and not an automated one.
This place is not what you think it is. They are trying to make it sound better since they are upgrading certain models. However, they have no problem keeping the amenities unkept and horribly unsanitary for those who don’t live right next to the front where they tour. Back pool is black and moldy, the laundry is always horrible and gross. No AC in laundry so being in there with the year long heat makes you almost pass out from the heat and no air circulation. They have said they are working on getting rid of the laundry machines, but months and months go by and nothing has been done and they will just say the same response. “It’s not their licensed machines to move out” but months and months go by and still nothing. Shouldn’t take since December to get that situation under control. I had to go in the office almost 4 months consistently telling them my move in date was wrong in their system, but they never went and changed it each time I had To constantly correct them. When touring, check out the areas past the front office. You’ll learn what they try to hide. Don’t live here.
This place is infested with cockroaches on any given night when I come home from after 9pm I can see 10-20 cockroaches scatter away. The cockroach problem is not contained to the kitchen these things are in the living room and bed room and as well. If that doesn’t scare you enough to not rent at this complex the crime should, read the google reviews and look at the statistics for this area. The crime is high and this complex is in the center of it. All the reviews that are anything other than 1 stars is people paid by the company to try and make this place look better.
I been living here for 3 months so far. From the very first of submitting my application to moving in has been horrible, the communication sucks terribly, the ladies in the office are very rude and nasty. My first week of moving in I had no hot water and I would complain constantly, they never gave me a tour of the complex I had to find everything myself I didn’t have a mailbox key for about a month. The office phone never works or they just don’t answer, they never gave me a number to the maintenance. I honestly hate this place. I can’t wait until my lease is up so I could leave.
Tired of the change in management, then they wanna raise your rent every six months it’s a mess out here. Don’t wanna come fix things. Maintenance half fix stuff when they do come out. Mildew all under my sink, no one has fixed it yet, pissed that my hubby has to get off work come home and clean up all the water that had leaked and mildew everywhere. Unacceptable but they want they rent tho. We are moving ASAP not a good place to stay at all. Folks constantly breaking n your cars it’s just a mess out here. I’ve just had enough
I have been living here for more than two years and I really enjoy it here. It’s in a prime area, close to everything. The elementary school is literally right behind the building making it easy to walk your little ones safely to school. It’s also affordable compared to others. On the hot summer months my family and I really enjoy hanging out by the pool.
They actually raised my rent and I discovered a little later after I paid a day late to try and get it sorted and they still charged me an additional $100 late fee that they could not waive but credited me the overage I had been charged for two months rent. I will not personally ever live here again but just because I had a bad experience doesn't mean you will too. There were no bugs in the unit. Pet owners are responsible. Low crime (in actual complex). They do email you about any police reports made in the complex and also send you a ton of coalition for the homeless emails ( which is annoying). Overall my experience is really a 1 star, new management bumped it to 2 stars. And the third star was given because the complex wasn't terrible just my experience and price was. Give the new management a chance.
Make sure to ask for a confirmation IN WRITING about the apartment and the date you are moving. If they cannot provide that to you?????????????? RUN away.....??? They offer you an apartment and take your money without having a confirmation of that the person living in the apartment is actually moving. This just happen to my friend . 1/2/2018 She is in a very vulnerable situation , a single mom with 2 daughter running away from the situation that is happening in Puerto Rico. Offering products or services that are not available and take money for it , that is just not right. Someone should take a look of this place. Also, please teach to your employees the synonyms of the word empathy.
There were so many things wrong with this place its no surprise they got bought out. The dumpster is full and overflowing several times a month and the crime here is crazy. Multiple break-ins of cars and apartments. The condition of the apartment itself is bad. The bathroom sink leaks, AC quit working, mold growing in the carpet, water line to the toilet broke, and the door doesnt seal so it lets the AC out when it did work. They then tried to raise the rent while im in a lease and gave me an attitude about it when I went to the office to fix it. It says under new management but the only thing that has changed is the rent went up for new tenants. None of the employees have changed.
It was really hard when I was looking for a place to live because my budget was not high and I wanted, at least, a safe place to live. I have a lease for 1 year, from April 2015 to April 2016. My only problem there is the rent amount. I can pay only because I have my sister living with me in a 1 bedroom apartment, is really hard for us to live 2 people like this, but we are doing good. The rent price is not high, is just my budget that is low. If you are looking for a good place to live, I would recommend where I live because is close to everything in the whole Orlando, it is located in the central of Orlando and everything is in an easy access.. The community has a huge green area, 2 pools, 2 laundries, a great place to live.
My apartment complex is a great place to live. There is a really great commom area, 2 pools, 2 laundries, wifi at the pool. There is also a great green area, which is really hard to find now at any place. I just love to live there!
I chose this apartment because it is close to my job. Also It is goo because it is close to many American Stores that I use to go shopping.
It is a great place to live and a great place to have a family too
Graduating from high school was easy. Applying to college was easy. Trying to find a place to move to attend college 5 hours away from your current home was extremely hard. Then I found Apartments.com. It showed me all the price ranges, the locations, and the layouts of each apartment. There was a HUGE variety of places to choose from. You can save the ones that you think are best for you and it's FREE! I found an apartment 5 minutes away my college, and I do not pay an arm or leg for my rent! My apartment provides me with brand new amenities, carpet, paint, and if I find something wrong, they always fix it! I really do not know what I would have done without Apartments.com! I always recommend this app to all my friends who are moving! The app is beyond easy that a 5 year old could do it! Hassle and worry free! Thank you Apartments.com!
