Property Ratings at Loretto Heights
Personal muy amable el mantenimiento rápido y eficiente gracias
Property Manager at Loretto Heights, Responded To This Review
Thank you so much for your 5-star review! Sincerely, Sherri Harmon Community Manager
PRO: The units are beautiful and well maintained! Maintenance is quick to respond and very kind. CONS: Lots of crime, mostly theft. Mailroom lockboxes haven't worked for over a month, so packages are stolen daily. Makes the monthly "package fee" feel pretty ridiculous. Car break-ins happen at least weekly, and recently our neighbor's ENTIRE CAR was stolen. This isn't just people being careless, either-- you'll often see busted windows where someone forced their way in. There's some kind of security hired to patrol at night, but they're not actual police and it doesn't seem like they're doing much. No gym access, either.

Hi there - we appreciate your honest feedback, as we're always looking for ways to improve. The mailboxes are fixed and are working on improving other areas of our property. Thank you for your patience and as always we appreciate you being part of the Loretto Heights family.
The leasing office staff and maintenance teams are absolutely amazing and I have never had an issue with this. However, the rent is too high for the quality of apartment you receive. Many apartment features are outdated and frequently require repairs. The amenities at the community are also below average for the price you pay.

Hi - thanks for letting us know our maintenance team went Beyond Expectations! We'll be sure to share with the team here at Loretto Heights!
Norma was very helpful in our application process and welcomed any questions or concerns. Kudos to her and her hard work. She is clearly passionate about people and her roll at Loretto Heights. We have been here for just over a month now and we love our apartment. Any service requests we've submitted have been resolved promptly. The neighbors and staff are all friendly and it seems to be a safe, family orientated community. The trash can be a concern: animals getting into it and the wind blowing it around the doorways. Overall, I would recommend others to living at Loretto Heights.

We appreciate your positive review about your recent experience with us! We can't wait to see you again, have a great day.
In all honesty loretto Heights has provided us a safe and secure home. We are very happy to be a part of the community, and staff has been great there are a few minor hiccups here and there, but that is to be expected in any living environment. I would certainly recommend to anyone that if they're looking for a tight knit community in a quiet place this is the home for you.

Hi there! We're so happy we were able to help you out! We hope to see you soon!
As I understand it, there is a new management team over the last 2 years and it shows. This place is clean, well kept, and service is responsive. If you want to live in South Denver, this is definitely a place to check out.
I have been living here for a year and a half the time they took a closet door to fix it, and with this new administration they fixed the door for me. And the work was excellent
The management makes it poor. My fiancé was threatened with eviction all because a package was dropped off at the leasing office. We put an address on the package before it was shipped and the leasing office blamed the package going to the office on us. As if we put office as the location of it. They are not professional and doesn’t care about the residents here. Until they change management again I don’t advise ANYONE to stay here. When my fiancé’s lease is up she will be moving where the leasing office makes it easier for residents and not harder. We watched 3 delivery people come into the office while we were there who were trying to drop packages off with the same issues as ours. They make the companies take the items back. It was lowdown to see as these are the holidays and people are expecting things. They also didn’t have masks on either. As if we aren’t in a pandemic. Their regulations on parking is also terrible. They just lack the skill set to carry out the functions of the job. I’m not sure who else we can contact, but we will be making further complaints!
Since I’ve moved in almost a year ago there have 3 different management companies that have taken over. When we first moved in I had such a hassle and was lied to about availability. On top of that there was a roach problem in the first months. It took many cleanings to ensure the place was clean. Every drawer in our kitchen has been broken since we moved in and out tub paint covering has been peeling a month after we moved in. Since then prices have decreased a bit but they only allow one car per person and if you have more than that their solution is to rent a garage or park the car on the street, which the surrounding streets are not somewhere I would want to leave my car. They’re a bit questionable on safety as my friend parked on the street and had something stolen out of his truck. The grounds are not kept clean as there is always glass on the sidewalks. I’ve had multiple packages stolen from my door during the holidays and management at the time didn’t seem to care. The Maintenance people are really nice. I would suggest looking elsewhere unless you really only care about the price.
This place was horrible with old management, and continues to be horrible with new management. Check out Google Reviews and others for more detailed info. This place is the definition of shiesty landlord. Beware.
As a current resident, I implore you to do your homework! The writing is on the wall, read the reviews. There is a known infestation of the Blattodea order, amongst many others. After speaking with management, an infestation in your apartment does not qualify for a reason to break lease. A move to another unit does not guarantee this problem won't still exist, per management. My apartment was sprayed heavily with insecticide chemicals on the day I was given keys. Managements states they do this for all apartments.... why? Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. YOU HAVE BEEN ADVISED!

We're sorry to see this has been your experience, as it in no way represents our community's values. We want all of our residents to always feel comfortable in their homes, and we sincerely apologize for any trouble you experienced regarding pests. We work hard to meet our residents' needs, and we apologize if our efforts were not to your satisfaction. We'll be sure to take this instance into consideration for the future, and we wish you all the best on your future endeavors.
I have been living there for 6 months, and since the bathroom has been clogged a lot and cockroaches have also been fumigated there, and they do not end up with very bad service ...
I'd like to start off that I was looking for an apartment in a time crunch. I had 72 hours to move, I called Loretto Heights and Jen was prompt to assist and scheduled a time for me to come in and take a look at the apartment homes. When I came in Matt was nothing less than FANTASTIC in helping me find the perfect unit at the perfect price for me. He even called around to local sister properties to check and see what they had. We got all the paperwork done and I was able to move into a CLEAN AND BEAUTIFUL apartment home the next day. It was such a blessing in a stressful time and i was so worried i was going to be without a home and the management here stepped in and took excellent care of me and everything was so perfect. This is a wonderful place to live and the management is even better. They are genuine people that take care of people. LEASE WITH LORETTO!!!! DO IT! TODAY!
If I could give this 0 stars I would. First of all there is high gang activity. The front sign was tagged, which was fixed in a week but we've been asking since march to have the water hammer in our shower fixed. Cars have been tagged. Multiple cars have been stolen including our downstairs neighbor's which when uncovered a few blocks away was proven to be used in gang crimes in the week it was gone and filled with weapons. Unless you live in the two buildings closest to the gate there is no parking after 8pm. When I park away from my building someone smears oriental lettering all over my car windows with their fingers every time. They get you in with barely fixing the place up enough to look good to get you to move in. Within a week everything will fall apart. Most of the apartments don't have accent wall or ice makers or other fancy things that they try and reel you in with. They paint the bathtubs and sinks which will start chipping in a week, towel rack, dishwasher, washers and dryers, blinds, are all cheaply held together and break easily, keep in mind we are two adults in a one bedroom with no kids, and our neighbors with no kids have the same problems. The plumbing is horrible. There's trash everywhere. They have bolted shut the middle hallways so they are no longer usable. The cameras haven't worked in 3 years. They've left furniture and washers and dryers outside for weeks. They never fix anything. Yet they can afford Xboxes,PlayStations , and broncos tickets to give away. Unsupervised children run around everywhere. Good luck getting centurylink which they advertise as their preferred internet provider. They couldn't plug in our neighbors because the node is over loaded and they unplugged is twice trying to plug others in! There's so much wrong with the place it was even on the news. The worst thing of all is it's too expensive to break the lease so we have to grit our teeth until it's up.

This is Matt, the new manager of Loretto Heights. I am truly concerned and saddened that you have had a negative experience in our community, and hope that I can improve your time here. It is my goal to improve our community for the better- I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to meet with you in person so that I can address your concerns. Please come by the office at your earliest convenience. Thank you. Matt McNier – Community Manager
I moved in 3 years ago and i love it! Claudine has been a blessing to your company. The changes she has made to the complex are phenomenal, from greeting you with a smile (always) to making sure all maintenence gets done in a timely manner. Her staff is professional and quick to take the time to listen to your concerns with a quick solution. I just signed another lease and I'm excited to be a part of this community. Thanks Loretto Heights staff for all your hard work to make this a great, safe and pleasant place to call a home.
I moved to Loretto Heights in 2011 (I relocated here from New York City), I was amazed at the community and the care of the leasing management team. I was impressed with the apartment when I moved in, my children were also very happy with the space. It was a relief to have a washer, dryer, dishwasher, fire place and lovely patio in the unit. Overall I must say I am very comfortable here and I have not had any issues.
The apartment itself is rather large for the area (800 sq ft). Close to the highway is good, also; that's about it for positives. The office staff are unprofessional, the maintenance crew are usually either riding around in their golf carts or all gathered at the office. The kitchen layout is too small for more than 1 person at a time. You WILL be billed extremely high water/trash bills, and the "CAM charges" altogether add about $100 to your monthly rate.
I love living here, the office staff is amazing. Claudine and Amanda are great and really listen to you when you have a problem. And the addition of the on call security has really made me feel safe. Thanks ladies!
I moved into this community 7 years ago as a single mom raining her 11 year old son. When I found this Apartment and moved in I have felt home from the beginning. It is kept up very well. Grounds keeper works hard and management has always been responsive to my needs and work orders. Home Sweet Home. I Love and enjoy the pools in the summer and view from my deck. Location is very compatable with my busy schedule. I have referred many friends and they too enjoy living here. Thanks for your time!
