Property Ratings at Lorna Place
I have been really satisfied with everything and the office and maintenance staff have been amazing
I feel like this apartment community actually cares about the residents and goes above and beyond to make me feel welcome, safe and take care of any issues that arises.
I love the staff and cleanliness of the complex all together.
I would recommend because of the management. Also, there is a sense of safety and a neighborly feel. Rhe aparrments are nice and well kept up.
I like the complex itself, but it has a bad roach problem that has yet to be addressed. I've been experiencing it for the past 8 months, and not matter how much I ask for something to be done, the situation hasn't changed.
The rent prices are reasonable. It's quiet. No riff raff or people hanging out around the community.
Love the experience I am having at this apartment complex! I have stayed in different apartments in different states and this has been the best experience by far!
What you see is what you get. The staff are all caring and go above and beyond to satisfy you needs. The residents are all friendly and helpful.
For the most part, it's a quiet place to live, and the staff is exceptional.
The community is clean, quiet, and the office staff is very helpful. Any issue I've had with my apartment has been resolved quickly.
YES
I would recommend this complex for living but some residents dont understand or know whats behind the scene when they call even when they are told about the activities that are going on and it might take a little while for us to reach them. Sometimes emergencies are being handled and if your task is not emergency then it will be handled under a numbered priority.
This is one of the best apartments I've lived in. The staff is exceptional, and super friendly. I love the quiet area, and woods give us a sense of privacy. This place is child, pet, and plant friendly.
I would recommend because when I first walked in I felt welcomed. When I got to my apartment I seen some issues and went back to the office and they handled the situation fast.
Not sure if how they would react to no ceiling lights in bedroom and living room
Lorna place is close to everything you could need and the manager and maintenance men are the best!!
I have been at Lorna Place since 2016 and I love it! The manager, Crystal and maintenance men, Vince and Mark are the best. I have had big issues like needing a new fridge and small things like replacing the toilet handle. Every problem I've had has been taken care of very promptly. Most within 24 hours. It is true that when I moved in there was a roach problem but with Crystal's help and advice it is now under control. The location is super convenient. We are very near the Galleria mall, Patton Creek movie theater and some great restaurants. The rent for this area is reasonable as well.
The community is nice but I would feel bad telling someone to move there if their not a marijuana smoker. That's all I smell in my apartment. But other than that everything is good.
I never thought an apartment could feel like a real community where we talk to our neighbors in the leasing office check on you see you after a while wow maintenance is friendly nice to my kids The most important thing is that my kids feel comfortable and have a playground check and check the wonderful new playground and my kids even go get things out of the car for me they?re not scared to go outside I kind of love Lorna Place apartment

I love living in Lorna Apartments because it's near almost everything including my job
I like how they expanded the playground and also fix it up like a mini park playground for the kids
We absolutely are excited to be here!!! Crystal and Jaycee have such amazing and friendly attitudes!!! They were courteous, friendly, and welcomed us right on into the community!! We even referred another family , and they Were also impressed!! We are truly excited!!
I'll start off by saying the office and maintenance staff are the best I've ever dealt with. Prompt maintenance on any problem and the office was always helpful and understanding. The apartments are roomy with big closets and lots of counter space in the bathroom. and I only ever had a couple minor issues but they got fixed right away. The pool is nice and big and always kept sparkling clean. unfortunately my apartment was absolutely infested with roaches, big and small. I tried setting traps, spray, powder, and finally bug bombing and that only seemed to worsen the issue. you can request pest control but after seeing the way they lived in the walls and even all over outside, I didn't know how much that would help. I got bed bugs too after staying for a few months. also some of the neighbors made me feel uncomfortable and the walls are pretty thin. so long story short I hope the whole staff finds a complex to work for that matches how awesome they are!
We have lived in Hoover almost 10 years, jumping from apartment to apartment. We finally decided to check out Lorna Place again (had previously lived here while single). The office staff is the BEST I have ever dealt with, the maintenance guys are always working hard and are quick. Neighborhood is friendly. The park is perfect for my son to play! I could go on and on easily but you get the idea!
I love my apartment, I feel safe and comfortable living here. It is a very pleasant environment. The other tenants are very polite. I am very excited to tell my family members to relocate with me. So one has relocated from Marengo County. The Staff shows a lot of concerns about issues that you may have in your unit. They are very prompt, whenever there is a problem. I am so glad that I chose to live here, it is a very nice neighborhood, and everything is so close.
I have lived here for years now and have seen managers come and go. I truly feel the new staff is working hard to continue making further improvements. This place has been cleaned up a lot since I have been here. When I have maintenance issues, it is usually corrected within a day or two. My apartment flooded a few months ago due to my upstairs neighbor and the staff kept me updated on what it needed to take to clean it up. These apartments are in Hoover City Schools and I love my kids going to school here. It is one of the top school systems in the state. Not to mention, it is convenient to many restaurants, the Galleria and Walmart Neighborhood market is right next door. It is one of the most affordable apartment communities in the City of Hoover.
I received a phone call on Friday, August 7, 2015 from the manager at the office. She informed me that the upstairs apartment water heater busted & flooded my downstairs apartment. I was out of town when this happened but, I was not far away. I immediately came home. When I got there, I had an industrial blower, a dehumidifier & a wetvac in my house. On the maintenance work order, it said, they wetvac'd it & it also said it "was not OK to enter." I had no place else to go. I had orange, mold, mildew stains on my ceilings, the stucco from the ceiling was falling in my bedroom, closet & hallway. All of the walls in the hallway, bedroom were stained with old water, it was a hot mess! It took them from Friday to Wednesday to get my apartment together & it's still not up to par. The filter that was installed hasn't been changed by Lincoln Property Company in over 9 months. I am living in complete filth. I took pictures of all of the stains, mold, mildew, paint, everything.
This apartment is located in the hood of hoover, the only hood this place knows. They charged me a tons of fees when i moved and did not tell me a thing. This place is roach infested and had to exterminate my own apartment. I did better than their pest control bug the grounds are infested so good luck walking to your car at night.
