As one of the oldest state capitals in the country, Albany is rich in history. The city’s architecture is truly stunning, giving the community a timeless quality. The NY State Museum and the Albany Institute of History and Art are local landmarks, bringing locals the opportunity to soak in a collection of permanent and rotating exhibitions.
The nightlife in Albany is an eclectic mix sure to please any taste, from breweries to comedy clubs, primarily along Pearl Street and Lark Street. Sports fans always have something to keep them occupied, from ValleyCat baseball games at Bruno Stadium in the summer to Devils hockey matches in the winter.
Nearly 20,000 students attend classes at SUNY Albany, and their influence on the local culture can be felt in the Midtown Strip area, near the downtown campus.

Sarah and her staff has been excellent. In a difficult roommate situation, she was very accommodating and helpful to my specific needs and was overly helpful. I appreciate the Loudon Arms staff and I am excited to be living there for my 2nd year. Thank you again to the great management staff.
I have lived at Loudon Arms Apartments for the past 2 and a half years. Overall its not a bad complex. Maintenance responds quickly during the day and are very professional and will do whatever it takes to resolve the problem at hand. The management is excellent here. when I was out of work due to an accident, management was able to reduce my rent for one of the months to make my living here easier. Not only that, but during that time they even got maintenance to help clean snow off my car when I was unable to do so on my own, due to my injury at the time. Management is also willing to work with you when an issue arises with rent payment. The only negative thing I have to day about Loudon Arms is that there is not a whole lot of soundproofing between apartments. If you have a neighbor that likes to pay their music or TV loud, there's a good chance you'll be hearing it too. Overall its not a bad deal. The rent may sound expensive at first, but given the fact that it includes all your utilities except electric, its a pretty good deal. They even include basic cable with internet, and provide the wireless router if you opt for one. If you want premium cable, just pay the difference. Overall I wold recommend Loudon Arms Apartments to anyone looking for a good place to live.
