The University of Tennessee is undeniably the focal point of Knoxville, and the school’s orange and white motif is everywhere. Largely thanks to the big student population, Knoxville’s nightlife scene is among the best in the region. Traditionally, the bars and restaurants along Cumberland Avenue - or "The Strip" – have been the preferred night spots in town; while The Strip remains popular, redevelopment in downtown and in the Old City has spread out the after-hours revelry. With so many students in the mix, the local rental market is packed with affordable options as well, so it’s easy to find a budget-friendly house, condo, or apartment just about anywhere in town.
But the city is much more than your typical college town, offering a charming environment surrounded by gorgeous hills and forests, with a generous helping of Southern personality. If boating is your thing, join famous Tennessee Vol Navy as they cruise the river behind Neyland Stadium on game days.

Property Ratings at Lovell Crossing Apartments
Select this complex for your new home if you want: 1. Kind, responsive personnel 2. An excellent location near restaurants, shopping, walking trails, and services in West Knoxville 3. Amenities that include a community recycling bin, exercise room, swimming pool, a storage unit and/or garage, and green trees surrounding the property. I am grateful for all the staff who work hard to make Lovell Crossing "home."
The women at the office were wonderful through my move in process. Maintenance was speedy and extremely helpful. Definitely one of my favorite places that I have lived.
Lovell Crossing is the BEST apartment complex in the Knoxville area! You will not find better staff that are always so kind and go above and beyond for you! The property is exceptional! Would highly recommend Lovell Crossing!
The property manager will charge you extra fees after you have moved out (she claimed our carpet was "damaged beyond repair due to soot from candles" and replaced the whole thing and charged us for it, no I am not kidding). Maintenance request are very slow. The security of the complex is very poor as the gate is broken 75% of the time. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to live.
I was so looking forward to moving in here and now I can’t wait for the lease to end so I can leave. These are spacious apartments and the staff is super nice, that being said, for a luxury apartment the insulation is a joke. I live on the second floor and the girl above me sounds like she’s stomping and slamming doors when in reality she is just walking normal. You can hear every step, drawer open, toilet flush, etc. I expect some noise when having someone above you, but not this bad. I’m amazed that this is the most expensive apartment I’ve ever lived in but somehow is the worst noise wise. Get a 3rd floor apartment here otherwise you will spend your time miserable angry at your upstairs neighbor. I would have loved to make this place a more permanent living situation, but needless to say I will be out of here as soon as the lease is up.
I have had several repair issues within the apartment and the maintenance staff will always take a long time to respond. Most recently I had a light fixture fall from the ceiling when I called the office about this they said yeah that happens from time to time because they're not secured enough and they were try to get out whenever they could to fix it. There are two children in my apartment and I could have caused serious damage if it had fallen and hit someone in the head. Aesthetically it's a nice-looking place to live and the office staff is typically very kind and pleasant. They are relatively affordable but considering the maintenance issues makes me wish I had not moved into these apartments in the first place.
The apartment wasn't fully cleaned before I moved in, and immediately I was getting bitten by fleas at night. Management said it was because I had "walked through some tall grass". Even showed them a picture of one that I had caught (using a nightlight and plate of water as a trap), and the response was that "that's not a flea". Nice. The master bedroom was the worst, ended up sleeping on my couch out by the door to avoid getting bitten as much. They eventually had their pest control person come back, but I think all he did was vacuum or something.
I have only lived at Lovell Crossing for about 7 months, but it is by far the most wonderful complex I have experienced in 17 years of apt. living. Today I had a minor plumbing issue & had the problem serviced by Dustin. It is so incredibly rare to encounter such an outstanding work ethic in someone his age. He had the problem fixed within minutes & was professional, friendly, & so helpful. The office staff has consistently displayed the same character & work ethic. Thank you all for making this such a great place to live!
I had my AC unit get low on freon and their service and maintenance man, Dustin, was out to fix it within 10 minutes. The apartments are extremely nice and the staff are always here to help when you need them. I highly recommend this apartment complex.

Thank you! We pride ourselves on our customer service. I am so happy we could help!
I have lived at Lovell Crossing for 6 years. The apartment is a one bedroom with 875 square feet. The apartment has many amenities starting with crown molding and an extra large living room. The kitchen has black whirlpool appliances which includes a built-in microwave, dishwasher and self cleaning oven.. The apartment also has a utility room with a full size washer and dryer. The master bedroom is large along with a very spacious walk-in closet which includes a ceiling fan. The color for tis magnificent apartment is neutral which adds to the appeal.

Thank you so much! I am so glad you love your home!
Overall nice place to live in. Staff is friendly and for most part useful. There are some minor infrastructure nuisances but overall good place to live in. Great pool and hot tub. Gym is small and not that useful except for minor/lightweight workouts. Lived here for 3 years no major complaints.

Thank you for the review! We hope you continue to enjoy your apartment home & it's almost pool time again!!!
After moving four times in the past 12 months, I have had my fair share of apartment complexes. This is the first apartment complex that i have lived at in Knoxville that i have absolutely loved. The facility is great, the amenities are great and the staff is great. I love being minutes away from the nearest shopping center, but far enough away to give the suburbia feel. The living spaces are large and balcony's are the perfect size to sit and watch the sunset over the beautiful views. The bedrooms are a great size and can fit quite a bit of furniture (queen bed, 2 night stands, vanity, lounge chair, large chest of drawers, and mirror). I could also fit a mattress in my closet for another guest! The amount of storage in the entire apartment is unlike any other. i can fit everything I own in this apartment, which is quite a bit being a young adult, and at an affordable price! The cheapest and nicest place I have lived yet!
