LPM Apartments

The building management since Weidner has taken over has been absolutely appalling. Thefts in the garage and crime in the building has gone up. Getting an email response from the building director or assistant director has been impossible (it's been two weeks to a month to get a response). Facilities are constantly out of order. They prioritize community events versus fixing amenities that are "sold" as a part of the community. They will charge late fees on ZERO balances and not tell you. This property management company does NOT care about residents in any capacity and will just ignore residents outright. I am not the only resident who cannot get an email reply for over weeks or MONTHS at a time.

Since moving in to the building in early summer the building sold to Weidner. The decline (as others have mentioned) has been stunningly bad. The lack of attention and upkeep to common areas is the tip of the iceberg. There still is no true concierge service as the current "placeholders" are not nearly as detailed as the previous management. Amenities continue to break on a weekly basis, the third elevator was out of order for almost 90 days which resulted in 5 minute wait times to access the elevators. Responses from management have not been timely and often go completely un-noticed. I've also noticed they've seemed to have raised rent along with the rapid decline, to which I do not see a correlation. Hoping things turn around but this is not the building I thought I was moving in to.

The building was recently sold….and holy crap I’ve never seen such a rapid decline. I believe it comes down to this…..pride. The previous owners were many things…and not always good. But they took ownership and pride in their responsibilities. Our concierge showed up early in the morning to check every nook and cranny in the common areas. She cleaned the coffee machines every morning. She checked the computers and the copy machine. She catalogued all the overnight deliveries and promptly got them to the Luxer room. She may not have been much for small talk….but I got to come home every day knowing that things were being taken care of. Weidner staff seem annoyed to be here. They’re clearly frustrated with all the complaints we’ve been giving them….but rather than be our advocates, they treat us like another annoying crisis to deal with right along side a building experiencing the first signs of being over a decade old. Greystar made it clear that they’d take care of us…..Weidner makes it clear they are tired of dealing with everything…including the residents.

Love the layouts, residents keep to themselves, and we feel safe.

I have loved living at LPM Apartments! The location is great and the apartments are very spacious.

Amazing Amenities, Unique Layouts that feel big. So happy we moved here and will probably stay a second year!

LPM apartments is modern living done right. A place you can call home and embrace being a part of the city of Minneapolis.

I love LPM and have lived here for almost 7 years, have been through five Property managers and various teams and I think the current team is outstanding - by far the best, and it shows on how well the property is maintained and the extra touches here and there. Thank you Steve, et al!

After selling my house in Minneapolis I was not ready to leave Minneapolis yet. So I settled at LPM. It has been a wonderful, satisfying and treasured time for me here. I am sorry to leave but my next adventure calls

Great apartment units but cabinetry finishes are not luxury and neither is their upkeep of amenities.

Until Graystar starts caring about the building, I would not recommend anyone moving in.

I've been living at LPM for almost three years. I love the location close to Loring Park, the Chain of Lakes and Downtown. The building has some great amenities, keeping them all functional can be a challenge at some time. What I like is that the management supports building a resident's community by hosting events. Summer afternoons on the outdoor pool deck can be amazing.

I am in my first month of living here, I have very few negative comments. So far I am settling in happily and look forward to calling LPM home. If you are looking for extremely dog friendly and hotel-esque design then come check it out! This was exactly what I was looking for.

not the friendliest desk staff...Phil was the best. Too many issues with elevators, parking garage doors, arms, and door to/from the elevators in parking garage - all really horrible considering what we are paying.

Resident of more than 2 years now- This apartment charges luxury prices and claims luxury amenities but falls short on all accounts. The outdoor amenities are only open for 3-4 months of the year, and the indoor amenities are regularly closed for a host of reasons. Parking in the building is unsafe and expensive, with 2 or more thefts a month despite the $175 charge. Appliances regularly go down and take weeks to repair, and the water pressure varies from "pulsing and inconsistent" to "unusable trickle". I hope that anyone considering LPM will talk to current residents before making their decision.

Clean and secure facility with top notch amenities. Leasing staff is the best I have dealt with. Meghan is the best!

I do love the idea of living here. A pool, a hot tub, a full sized gym, and plenty of other awesome amenities. But there are some elements that are shocking. How could a building built in 2014 have walls so thin that I can hear talking on the other side? Why can I hear everything happening outside? Why does management let the hot tub remain so filthy after a weekend that guests can smell the sweat in it? These are luxury apartments and we pay luxury prices. We shouldnt be able to smell trash in the mail room for days because it hasnt been picked up yet. The elements of greatness are all here, but the edges must be rounded out. Concierge is a surprising highlight. Amazing folks with amazing work ethic. Theyre 10/10. The view is amazing, and all the amenities are amazing when maintained.

This place exceeded my expectations. I love the location and views. Each unit has a unique layout or feature and staff is friendly and personable. Glad I toured this place because some of the negative online reviews arent an accurate depiction of the space. I havent had any issues with parking or elevators breaking down. I work from home during the pandemic and you cant hear your neighbors at all. Great place.

I watched the LPM being built and knew I wanted to be one of the first to move in and I was one of the first ten. Like all new apartment buildings the management company goes through staff and until now I would say the management staff was a little below average to way below average. Now Greystar finally got it right. Anna, Property Manager and Jen, the Assistant Property Manager are excellent! They are the only 2 employees of the management company who I trust 100% and enjoy taking with. They have always made sure I have been comfortable seeing that I am now living in my 6th apartment at the LPM! Aaron, the Maintenance Manager and Marshall, Maintenance Tech are "spot on"! I enjoy when they come to my apartment to fix the minor issues I've had. The LPM is not just an apartment to me....it's my "HOME"!

The Location of LPM between Loring Park near the Chain of Lakes and Downtown is unbeatable. The building has great amenities and a vibrant community using them. Management could get a bit more proactive to keep everything in good shape.

I have loved living at LPM this is my 5th month here and the staff is friendly, maintenance is speedy and the amenities and location are great!

LPM apartments is supposed to be luxury apartments and we pay for it. But the apartments and public areas are poorly maintained. The hallways and trash shoots are always a mess. We have put in work orders to have our closet door replaced so many time I cannot count and no one has done anything about it or even gotten back to me about it. I also have cracks in my ceiling that maintenance said there was nothing they could do about which is scary. On top of those frustrations, internet and elevators are frequently down. The package room is always having issues and I have had multiple items lost. I have lived here for three years because it is convenient for where my husband and I work, however, we could not take it any longer and decided to move. I will not recommend this apartment complex to anyone and honestly I will steer them away if they ask. Very unimpressed. It could be a great place to live, but is so poorly managed that it is terrible. On another note, I am not sure why but the apartment always smells like weed and it seems like management allows subletting or doing air b&b because there are always strangers in the halls smoking weed. Not classy at all.

The building is gorgeous, and community spaces are clean and awesome. The views can't be beaten. Unfortunately, the area does not feel safe anymore, the park has crack heads and homeless, police are around the block all the time at night. The rent is absurdly high considering the building amenities and elevators are shut down half the time due to poor preventive maintenance practices. Most of the property staff are EXTREMELY nice and polite and they are great people, but problems persist all the time here and all we get is "sorry for the inconvenience"

Excellent Staff, beautiful views and functional amenities.

LPM is a great place to live. Easy to find and in a beautiful part of Loring Park. The amenities are phenomenal and each apartment has plenty of space, not to mention the huge windows. A perfect choice for any young professionals.

Easy process with the leasing staff and a very easy process to apply/move in, etc. The location is great with a large park across the way and all the restaurants and bars close by is very convenient! Amenities are nice and the building is kept very clean inside.

Security and maintenance of amenities and elevators should be vastly improved.

LPM is a jewel of the Loring Park and south downtown neighborhood. It is a safe environment that is in proximity to downtown. The amenities are really great and the views from the north side of the building of downtown and the park are perhaps the best in the city. Young professionals looking for an upbeat, high end apartment situation should definitely explore LPM.

I know this neighborhood well and have felt so welcomed here at LPM by staff and residents. The views are fantastic and I love my space.,

We have loved our experience at LPM. This was a great upgrade from our last apartments. We love the appliances, balcony and amount of space we have. The amenities are amazing too! The staff has also been very responsive and helpful.

Theres no place else I would stay in Minneapolis. Living here is better than advertised!

Leading up to our move at LPM we developed high expectations, and honestly LPM overall has delivered. We love our apt layout the steam room and rooftop amenities. Definitely recommend LPM

Bad management- rude and they do not respond to building issues Building maintenance is nonexistent Amenities constantly broken trash chute room always overflowing with trash elevators have animal urine, trash and spills on a daily basis.

LPM Apartments are amazing! I am absolutely in love. I have heard some not good things about management but I personally havent had any bad experiences. The views are amazing and the amenities are key. Great place to live-good location.

So far I have a great experience. The online application was easy, all my questions were answered promptly. Yesterday I got my keys and am ready to move in. Excited for living at LPM.

Not ready for prime time yet. Residents have to put up with an awful lot of issues.

We have truly loved our first month here! Everything we need is within walking distance. The views are beyond spectacular and the amenities provided at LPM I have not found at another rental property.
