I have lived at Royal Palms for a little over a year now and it’s been great. The office staff is extremely friendly and helpful and maintenance is usually pretty quick to fix any issues I may have. On top of that the amenities are great and easily accessible. Overall this is a great place that is well worth the cost to live here.

Royal Plans is a great place to live. Convenient location, spacious apartments that are very well laid out. What sets them apart is the level of service. The office staff is friendly and efficient. The maintenance team is amazing! Yancey and his team are very knowledgeable. They keep the place spotless and if you do have a problem they are very fast at getting it fixed. They really go above and beyond for the people who live here. I would definitely recommend Royal Palms.

I had the worst experience with the office manager. I tried calling her for two weeks and left voicemails and never received a call back. I went into the office to try to talk to someone and the woman I saw in the office rolled her eyes when she saw me and shut the door and had someone else come out to tell me that she said I should email her my questions because she did not have time to talk to me. The property is beautiful and I was very interested in moving in, but did not solely because of the terrible customer service. If this is how I was treated before moving in, I can only imagine how I would be treated if I had questions during the moving process.

My boyfriend and I just recently moved into these apartments, and all of the positive reviews are very accurate. We love it here so far. Ms. Jordan, the property manager has been very helpful, she’s so nice and every time I’ve interacted with her in person she always has a smile on her face. We decided to choose the Costes floor plan. The apartment complex is only a year old so all of the appliances are new, and everything is very modern. You can tell that ever since they’ve opened they’ve done their best at keeping the property clean. Another plus for us is that it’s very quiet, they also have security as well. Since the complex is so small compared to other complexes (they only have 5 buildings) the units go pretty fast so if you’re interested in living here I would look into it ASAP.

I lived there for about 9 months. I never really had issues with management. They have always replied back to me in a timely manner. Neighbors were peaceful and quiet (in my building anyway). And if you needed something resolved (like if something broke), they'll fix it in a timely manner. There were some cosmetic flaws with my unit where some of the cabinets didn't align correctly or my closet rod wasn't sturdy, but when you move in, just let them know these flaws, and they'll correct them pretty easily. The apartment itself is very pretty, but with the open concept, there is a little lack of storage area, especially for the bathroom. It's not the worse thing, but just something to be mindful of. Also, if your building is near the road or near the side of a construction vehicle place, you may hear them in the morning when they are loading and unloading or just cars driving by. In terms of other sounds, when your apartment is empty, it will be very easy to hear your upstairs neighbor, but once you have stuff in the apartment, you don't really hear them anymore. Also, it's cute that every now and then for holidays they would give us goodie bags of treats, and they try to plan some apartment events. Kinda wish they had a call dial on their other gate because a lot of my friends had complained about needing to make a U-turn to enter the main gate. Overall, I still enjoyed living at this apartment complex and would live there again. The location is good because you are about 10-15 mins away from everything (but if you have college friends, they would complain you live too far), but in general Baton Rouge things, you live fairly close to everything. The unit is stunning and the management responds pretty well.

Beautiful property, but everything that glitters isn’t gold! My unit had reoccurring mold issues for months. Maintenance continued to temporarily fix the issue, which caused the mold to come back with vengeance every time! Very disgusting! The staff had no urgency in moving me into a new unit. Terrible experience

We were recommended these apartments while we were working at the film studio. The apartments and ground are clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and any issues I had were solved in a timely manner. The online payment and work order system was super convenient and the valet trash pick up was definitely a huge plus. I would absolutely stay there again.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the Royal Palms Apartments. The units are first class, the property is well appointed with nice/useful amenities, the staff bends over backwards to address any questions or concerns and the location makes life easy. I would recommend to anyone seeking a quality apartment home in Baton Rouge.

We have just moved in and if you’re considering this place- DO IT!! The leasing ladies are spectacular here and the apartments are brand new and up-to-date. They are super responsive and helpful and we couldn’t be happier!

I would recommend doing a full inspection of the apartment once you receive your keys . Don’t move your furniture in until you’ve looked at every nook and cranny .A brand new tub and toilet seat should not come with unremovable stains that make it look as if the product had been previously used . There also should not be scratches all over the kitchen appliances. Also read over your contract thoroughly and save all forms of communication which will most likely be by email since the phone goes unanswered.

The Property Manager was so helpful! She’s very passionate about her work and it shows! Always willing to go above and beyond. It’s one thing to stay somewhere nice but I’m overjoyed knowing that people like Shelby are there to assist at anytime. It really means a lot!

FIRST, I’ll start by saying this property is BEAUTIFUL! When my boyfriend and I went in for our tour, we were greeted with the most warming welcoming and the biggest smile by the assistant property manager Shelby. She guided us through the tour so well, made sure we understood everything, and also told us to take the time we needed to decided [even though our minds was already set on this beauty]. During the application process, with met the Property manager, Laikyn! Any questions or concerns, she was on it with urgency. We absolutely love our home. 10/10 would recommend. A great area with gas stations, schools, etc.

Let me start by saying the property manager and assistant property manager(Laikyn)& (Shelby) was amazing. They made the application process very easy and less stressful then most apartments complex. From the moment I first toured, I felt welcome and considered. I've truly enjoyed living here. The staff is helpful, kind, and responsive. I love the different hobbies here , I feel that, as a resident, I am very much kept in the loop regarding anything going on at the complex. I've always felt respected and valued here. Property manager (Laikyn) which I value the most walk me to my apartment and show me around, while assistant property manager (Shelby) took care of my Electric service. I’m looking forward to more wonderful things here at the Royal Palms.
