Property Ratings at LTV Tower Apartments
I’ve been living in this apartment community for some time now, and I can’t say enough good things about it! The location is perfect for me, making it incredibly convenient for work and exploring. I work downtown so the commute is ideal, but I also get to work from home some days. Those days are my favorite because there is still so much around me I can access quickly - plus the views are way better than my office :P
I’ve never dealt with such unprofessional management in my life. The leasing office is a nightmare — they never answer emails, are rarely in the office, and don’t bother answering phone calls. When they do finally respond, it’s often full of excuses or outright lies. There are never any updates or improvements made to the building, and it’s falling apart. Roaches are a constant problem, and the walls are so thin you can hear everything happening next door. To make matters worse, the elevators are constantly broken, and they offer no guest parking, which is incredibly inconvenient. Overall, this place is a disaster, and I highly recommend you look elsewhere if you value your sanity and peace of mind.
What a nightmare. The apartment was in bad shape (cabinet doors fell off), and it was hard to get maintenance. Many of the other apartments on my floor were used for Airbnb's, and so the nights got noisy, and trash was frequently left out causing the hallway to smell. Most annoying, they had a problem tracking rental payments, so although I never once made a late payment, I got a late notice on most months (and even received an eviction notice a couple of times). But none of that would cause me to write a review. I'm here because of my final experience there. I was ready to move on at the end of my 1 year lease, but a couple of weeks before there was a some problem that caused a flood in parts of the building including my 18th floor unit. I woke to ankle deep water. I grabbed my dogs and evacuated to the safety of a friend's home, which is where I was when the building manager called to make sure I had a place to stay. He seemed very concerned, and even gave me some suggestions of what restitution I should ask for from the property/management company. By the time I got back in, just in time to pack to move, all of my furniture that was on the floor was stacked up into towers, there were 6 or 7 loud industrial blowers going, and the space smelled of mildew. Shoes and handbags that had been on the floor of my closet were destroyed. A contracted clean-up company was pressuring me to hurry and get out so they could demo my unit for the rebuild, while I had days left on my lease. The contractors sent a guy into my apartment to stand there and stare at me (while I was packing) who I had to yell at to make leave. Then after all this, I reached out to the management company to request reimbursement for the days that I couldn't live in the apartment (flooded, evacuation, mildew, loud blowers, stacked furniture, pressure from contractors) and I was told by the 'concerned manager' that nothing happened in my apartment. He said it wasn't flooded, I wasn't evacuated, and I experienced no inconvenience. I didn't engage in a lawsuit or fight, because it didn't seem worth the headache for not a lot of money, but they really deserved it.
LTV Towers is one of the worst apartment complexes in Dallas. Management is horrendous and does not answer phone calls and is never on site to assist residents. Maintenance requests take weeks at best. The hallways always smell like weed and the parking garage arm is never working, therefore the garage is always closed for repairs, blocking in my car. Oh and did I mention the elevators have been down for 5 MONTHS!! since the winter storm and have still not been fixed. I have to wait a minimum of 15 mins to get an elevator as there is only one working for a building with 32 floors. And when I finally get an elevator, I have to share it with 20 other residents. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. I wish I had.

I lived at LTV Tower from Feb 2016 - Feb 2017 and only moved due to my dog's fear of traffic. The interior of the apartments were great - from the lobby, elevators, hallways, and of course the actual apartment. I had a 1 bd/1 ba and it was more than enough space for a single person. The living area and kitchen were also great for hosting friends as the areas was spacious and very open. Soundproof walls were also a plus; I think I only heard my next door neighbor a handful of times. The staff were also very accommodating and always available it seemed. Also, it's right downtown near several restaurants and bars, and only a short walk to uptown with even more nightlife! It is an ideal location!

Thank you for taking a time to write us a review! We are glad you loved the interior apartments and felt that it was a great spot for hosting friends! We are sad to see you go but thanks for making us your home for a year!
I am a current resident and I would like to first say that the apartment units are great and the views are spectacular. That being said, the management staff is horrendous. They sell you on lies and un-kept promises. The staff does not respect the tenants or the building they manage. They take zero responsibility for what happens in there own building. The security is non-existent and anyone can sneak in. A few months back a man was caught breaking into his neighbor's unit. Between the un-permitted pool occupants, the two day power outage, the constantly-dingy pool, the unreliable elevators , and the increase of insects it is clear that they either do not care about the condition of the building or they lack the capacity to manage an apartment complex. Either way, there are apartments in the area for the same value that offer better resident care. Do not move here.

Joe the property manager showed me and my husband around and he was wonderful. I loved the fixtures in the apartments and the views were amazing. The environment is very pleasant especially all of the hotel features that are available. The residents that came in and out of the office seemed very nice and everyone knew everyone. That was very comforting and gave me a good feeling about the place. Also my main concern when looking for an apartment was safety. The parking garage is very secure and I haven't come across another complex with the same security. Having a little one security is very important. Loved the place and hope to be moving there soon!

Hi, Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. We are glad you enjoyed the environment, hotel features and security. We are glad to have you a resident! Thanks again!
Believe the photos--this place comes as promised. The staff even referred me to great local movers to streamline the process. Since then, I've lived here for about six months and couldn't be happier. I have a phenomenal view of the city and my apartment is spacious. The floors even shine. It's a short walk to my job on Main St. and an even shorter walk to several bars. I just leave my car parked--don't need it to have a good time here. Five stars, hands down.
