2 year tenant. Unfriendly to families. Dog poop everywhere. Nasty text messages sent to all residents monthly threatening high fines. Gates always broken. Avoid if you have kids. Rules added and changed regularly. Forced addendums with fines for not signing. Rent increased 3-5% yearly.

Apartment completely dirty upon move-in (cat food pieces in kitchen cabinets, tons of hair and nail clippings clearly visible in carpet, food on the floor, etc.). Management acknowledged that the cleaner did a poor job but didn’t send another one out for over a week. I ended up having to clean up after the previous residents myself. Each time I asked when the cleaner was returning they said “tomorrow.” Maintenance requests go ignored, pool is perpetually closed. Worst apartment I’ve ever lived in out 5.
Don’t be fooled by the amazing appearance of the rental office and the trimmed grass on the grounds. Although the inside of the units are nice and more modern than other apartments I’ve seen, the lack of honest communication between tenant, rental office and even maintenance was insane. I would be told multiple varying stories about the status of maintenance issues that would change all the time, and some maintenance issues were not even addressed on their end over the course of 3+ months. Also, the gate was never working which posed as a concern because having a gated community was one of the major reasons many individuals chose to live here. The trash compactor seemed to also be broken multiple times and people would pile their trash outside of the compactor which was disgusting. Of course, with both of these recurring issues, the rental office/maintenance never gave a straight answer about when they would be fixed. Instead, they responded with attitude, excuses, and a plethora of stories for what was going on. If this apartment community were to be under different management, more professional management, I could see it being more desirable. But currently, I would suggest weighing out your options.
If you are looking for a place to rent Sterling Creek Apartments is your place. My husband and I love it here. The girls in the office are so helpful and always respond quickly. Rent from here you will not regret it. Just a note from a very happy resident :)
Moving in was a breeze our apartment was spotless and smelled amazing. the move in process was as simple as it gets. Amanda walked me through the whole process and really seemed to know her stuff. I can hear my neighbors some but no more or less than any other place I have lived in the past. " typical apartment living" when you live in an apartment you expect to hear your neighbors some. The pool here is amazing and it is Salt water which i can't wait to get into this summer. I met the maintenance guy Shane because I place a request for him to come and put a special a/c filter in my home because I have bad allergies. 10 min later he was like johnny on the spot super friendly and i really feel safe with him coming into my home not the typical "creepy maintenance guy" no he is super nice and helpful over all I have loved it here can't wait for many more years to come.
Nothing but great things to say about this place. Pool is beautiful and always clean. Staff is nicer than anywhere I have lived. My apartment is HUGE and feels like a home more than an apartment. what else can I say this place is great.
This Place is pretty cool. The staff is really chill when you go in they are always helpful. Gio and Amanda are always will to go above to help me. They stop what they are doing to me make sure that I am taken care of. I recommend this place to anyone if they want to love their apartment complex!

Sterling Creek Is a beautiful place to call home the Property Manager Amanda is kind and welcoming Gio was my leasing agent and they made me feel right at home. This property had front gates, pool and gym. This is the best place to rent anywhere close to here. The Maintenance staff is like Johnny on the spot. If I call in a service request it is taken care of the same day.
I Love the staff in the office when moving in they walked me through the whole thing and it was seamless. This place is well maintained. I could not have asked for a better place to live. Thank you Amanda, Gio and Kayley for everything you did. Easiest move in process ever

DO NOT MOVE HERE. It is now 7 a.m the day after Christmas and the complex fire alarm is going off again for the second time in 2 hours. The first was at 4:30 a.m. and this has been going on for months. It is a loud blaring noise for 20 mins. There is no explanation. My spouse and I have both been deployed to combat zones and miraculously we were able to get better sleep there than we do here. It sucks to watch him jump up out of his sleep just as he would in a combat environment. This is supposed to be a gated community and the gate is always broken
Apartments are not luxury, front office is unorganized and rent is way overpriced for the quality of the apartments.
The staff is incapable of handling the slightest task. The gate is constantly breaking and management does not get anyone out to fix it for several months. The pool bed is spotted with dirt and grime. Management does not communicate with the tenants when there are important changes they need to be made aware of, like the washer/dryer room in the main building being permanently closed, the alligator signs indicating an alligator is in the pond that is near the pool and apartments, and the change in decal stickers being used to gain access through the (often broken) gates. When information is requested from Management regarding renewals and procedural questions, they do not respond for months, and when they do, you are financially liable for the time it took them to respond. They do not update their information when you provide them any changes, like telephone numbers and their choice of medium for communication, when they do decide to contact you, is inconsistent. Sometimes you get a notice on the door, sometimes a phone call, and sometimes an e-mail. You never know what to expect! There is nothing “luxury” about this apartment except for the price.
