Property Ratings at Lumber Exchange
Very interested in the possibility of renting. Sent two inquiries. Zero response. Don't bother using these apps to contact these guys is my recommendation. Unless maybe you're looking for an expensive place. Maybe they'd be more responsive. Only a studio? Maybe that was the problem. Either way, deeply disappointed.

Livee here for a little over a year.l, while the amenities are nice it's a little higher rent than average. Also the building isn't very sound proof but that is common with newer buildings that aren't made with more absorbing material such as brick. The sound mostly came from outside because the windows are so huge which made a great view but provided more noise. It would if been nice if they were more sound proof. They also plowed at 3 in the morning everytime until the end of the year which would always wake me up. Other than the noise the apartments are amazing.

I live at the Lumber Exchange and I love it!! The building is brand new, clean, and has incredible amenities. I love that I can just go downstairs to the gym instead of driving somewhere to work out. They have a spin room, a ping pong room, and a rooftop patio that shows off stunning sunsets! Summer Saturdays lounging on the rooftop are the perfect way to unwind! The Lumber Exchange is also right across from the Greenway so it’s perfect if I want to go on a run or an evening stroll. Whenever I’ve had an issue- it’s been answered in less than 24 hours. Not to mention- having underground parking during this crazy winter has been the hugest blessing. Moving into the Lumber Exchange was the best decision I ever made!
I live at Lumber Exchange and love it! My roommate Erika reviewed Dakota commercial and said we had a issue getting a discount that we were promisied, and shortly after she posted the review the property manager reached out and got us the discount. Very responsive and nice place to live!
I live at the Lumber Exchange and it is amazing! I am a student at UND and even though rent is a little more than most places I think it is worth is 100%. There are so many amenities (community room, gym, cycling room, rooftop patio, etc.) that it is worth it. The team is great and super helpful and the maintenance requests are finished so quick. I love living there and would recommend it to anyone!
Just want to give Tammy a huge shout out. She is very great at her job and very helpful anytime I’ve had a problem with anything. I have rented from Dakota commercial for 3 years at 3 different properties. Everytime ive moved Tammy goes out of her way to help me and my dog find a place that would for the both of us. Tammy is truly a super star. Thanks Ted
Anytime there is maintenance issue they send someone over right away! The building is super clean and updated! There is a gym and 3 community rooms throughout the building. The only issue we have had was when we signed our lease, we were told we were getting our apartment at a certain rate and then last minute they told us we weren't eligible for a monthly rent discount that we were told we were getting.
I currently live at the Lumber Exchange and absolutely love it. Dakota commercial makes it easy to pay online which is super nice. I go to school at the University of North Dakota and the rent is a bit more but we’ll worth it cause I live in the loft with just one other person which is so nice. In all great place and great company.
