Pioneer Meadows is a rising neighborhood in northern Sparks. Pioneer Meadows feels suburban, featuring newer single-family homes and upscale apartments available for rent with expansive views of the skyline and the mountains beyond. This neighborhood has a small plaza with grocery stores, casual restaurants, and other businesses, but residents don’t have to go far with several shopping centers like Sparks Crossing nearby. There are also several parks near Pioneer Meadows allowing for great outdoor recreational opportunities. Families cool down during the summer at Melio Gaspari Water Play Park, Lazy 5 Regional Park has excellent sports facilities, and the Red Hawk Golf and Resort offers a peaceful day out on the green. Renters appreciate the views of the mountains and a somewhat secluded feel, but Spring Meadows is only 20 minutes from Downtown Sparks and Downtown Reno.

In no way am I trying to defame just sharing my horrible experience. At first glance lumina May seem luxurious, nice fit for a family right? As you move slowly you see maintenance doesn’t fix anything they paint right over holes show drains clogged, these apartments worst experience they don’t help you resolve loud neighbors they charge you fees for insurance even if you have your insurance to find parking better bring your hiking boots because they only give parking here for money not one unit has an assigned parking. Save your self a headache and look else wheee

The interior and exterior look nice. I’ve been living here a few months. At first I LOVED it here but now I’m seeing the facade. I can hear my neighbors upstairs constantly. The dog parks have no lighting at night. People rarely pick up their dog poop. Some of the neighbors breed their dogs so when they’re using the dog park for hours you can’t use it because their dog is in heat. The neighbors are incredibly rude. The kids leave their toys laying around and play on the amenities and ruin them. You’re not allowed to park in the complex unless they give you special permission, your guests cannot park in the complex, they will tow cars if they feel like it without warning. The management is constantly changing so you never talk to the same person. For the price you pay here you’d think they’d manage the property better and have security. People ruin the pool so it’s closed for weeks. I’m so disappointed that I signed a year lease. I can’t wait to move.

This place is absolutely awful. Management does not care about actually solving living issues like parking. Parking is a nightmare and people have to park on the streets outside the complex, and have only one point of entry to the complex, which is the front. I have to walk my child in the winter from the next door houses to the complex. Management knows about this issue but does nothing and Beth gets mad if you bring up any issues. Totally unprofessional, many residents have issues with her specifically. Not worth it, run and rent somewhere else!! There’s so many more issues but I’m running out of room

The amenities were not the greatest, half the time they were closed or something wasn't working properly on them. The management is not the greatest and gives you a hard time about trying to get any information at all. Parking is an absolute joke, after I would say 3:30 pm there is no parking stalls available. The bugs in the balconies and all around front doors is ridiculous and Everytime you would let maintenance know nothing would be done about it. Washer broke and started to leak after a year of living there and it was supposedly brand new. The flooring in the hallway was coming up put in a request to fix it and nothing was done. Had carpet on the stairs leading up, went to vaccum and the carpet was pulled up, informed property and put in a request for it to be fixed nothing was done. There are many other places out there that are better.

Horrible managment, inconsiderate tenants, no parking, no peace and quiet, leaky cheap windows that grow mold inside them, 2 to 3 inspections a month so you get no privacy, and so much more.

DO NOT MOVE INTO LUMINA! I am a current resident. I moved from one apartment to a bigger more expensive one. When I moved out of my 2 bedroom I thoroughly cleaned everything from cabinets to bathrooms to appliances. The place was like new and nothing wrong with it. I just received my move out bill and they charged me $1704! I almost fell over dead! They replaced all the carpets for $600. The carpets DID NOT need to be replaced. They painted the whole place for $700. The place DID NOT need to be painted. They heavy deep cleaned the cabinets, appliances and bathrooms for $120. All of which were already thorough cleaned by me. They replaced 10 planks of the flooring ($20 each). There was nothing wrong with the flooring. Along with a number of other little charges it all adds up to $1704. You can see from this review how they treat their own residents. I won’t be living here after my lease is up. I received one month free rent when I first moved in and I believe this is their way of recovering that rent. Im still in shock and will be meeting with an attorney. The kicker is that the place I recently moved into wasn’t clean with scratches all over the flooring, along with broken appliances.

The apartments are brand new but clearly it was rushed construction and the quality of workmanship is poor. You can hear your neighbors form outside and inside the apartments, parking is a huge problem, especially in the evenings. People park in your assigned parking, this is a weekly issue for us. The dog poop all over and the trash in the buildings, some people are too lazy to take out their trash so they leave it in the halls of the buildings. I can see this becoming a rodent problem. The constant construction noise is a huge problem ! The two free months rent is not worth it.

Lumina has one of the best apartment gyms you will find in this area. Pool area is also taking shape nicely. The buildings are spread out so you don't feel as cramped as in some complexes. Management team is great!
I love this place! The staff is always extremely helpful and friendly, the pool is amazing and they have the best apartment gym I’ve ever seen. Super close to a beautiful walking path and all around a beautiful atmosphere.
