I’ve enjoyed living here for years! The management team is attentive and kind! They have food truck days once a week which is nice when you don’t feel like cooking! The pool is by far the best amenity on hot summer days. I also want to give a huge shoutout to Alex and Ernesto on the maintenance team. They are always super friendly when I need something fixed, and they explain what’s going wrong and how they’re fixing it in a way I can understand (having no experience fixing things). They respond to work orders quickly and always ensure the job is completed thoroughly. If Lux/Sorrel stays this great, I may never leave!

Maintenance was quick to fix any issues I had. That Jason really knew what he was doing. The staff in the office was very friendly and easy on the eyes. Plenty of amenities. If it wasn't for being transfered I would have stayed longer.

This has been the worst apartment experience I’ve had. You can hear everything your neighbors do every step! It’s horrible. On one side of me I have a dog that barks from 5 in the morning to 5 at night and people that blast their music shaking my bed till 3 in the morning. It’s a great area and it’s nice looking but it’s been a absolute waste of my money living here.

Noise from neighbors both above and to the sides, a horrible experience has become living here, the situation has been communicated several times with the office, and the option they give us is to change apartments but we have to pay more. there is no acoustics in the walls you hear everything the neighbor next door is talking about, and all the noises they make. the neighbor upstairs does not walk, she runs continuously day and night, jumping, screaming. horrible experience. I want my year to end now to get out of here.

Don’t waste your money. Management does not care about helping residents. They will tell you what food trucks they hired but won’t call you back when you leave a message that really matters. Loud neighbors allowed to blast music all day and night.

The management never fixed anything, and the property is in disarray. Our elevators are out for months, with no time frame or prospects for repair, only more and more excuses. Dog poop all over the place, people don't clean up after their pets, poorly constructed units, filth all over, the standards have gone down, people leave trash on their porches and in the corridor and the management never does anything.

PROS: •Lots of amenities (the ones that are actually in good working condition). •Good location (15 minutes to Downtown, 15 minutes to the beach, 15 minutes to Town Center, etc.) •Full washer and dryer in the unit •Screened in porch •The office does a lot of festivities for the community CONS: •Office- THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE IN THE OFFICE! There’s only one staffed office between both Lux at Sorrel and Sorrel (very rarely someone to picks up the first time you call and you NEVER get a call back after leaving a voicemail for them). Also, most of the office staff is very rude. •Paper-thin walls (can hear your neighbor’s whole conversation, them flushing the toilet, them walking around, etc.) •No designated parking spots for guests (they always take up the front spots and the people that actually live here have to park farther). •The security gates are ALWAYS broken... letting in everyone. •The smoke alarms randomly go off. They have gone off so many times that residents just stay inside and are getting complacent; this is a HUGE safety concern. (As of the last few months, this has been “fixed” and has only happened once.) •It is mandatory to pay $15 for the valet trash service even if you don’t want to use it. •Only allowed to have service through AT&T (and the WiFi service is awful). •The apartments are nice but the materials are very low grade.

I moved all my furniture out this past Thursday. I was unable to complete moveout of all things on Friday. On Saturday they terminated my lease to the tune of 5200 dollars. I planned on paying the rent and terminating at the end of July. It didn't happen. The walls are paper thin and can hear everything in apt above and below you.
