In general, a decent place to live but; the lack of building security, as well as poor maintenance, make it definitely overpriced for what you get! There used to be a decent gym, but amenities have been removed. Parking in the community is a nightmare.

Unless you love the smell of cigarettes, loud music @ 3m and trash wherever you look, I suggest you stay away from this place

The water bill is absurdly high. There's a problem with plumbing/water meter, the management never care to take care of the problem. They will keep overcharge you. If you are not ready to pay $100 water bill per month, don't live here! For the current residents, make sure you monitor your water reading on Conservice. It has water reading for everyday, check the days you happen to be out of town, you will be surprised.

property management is terrible! hallway is like ashtray, no parking space due to people storing unregistered cars, dumpster always overflowing with trash all over the walkway

Ive been at the Lux, just over 3 months...in general it's been enjoyable..the office staff are very hard to reach, but when reached they are kind and curtious.. maintenance is excellent, I've had one issue, it was taken care of within 3 hrs of my initial req for service..the gentleman was kind, listened to me and was quick...

Nice grounds. Nice people. Hard to get a hold of leasing office. Make sure you bring banker check when getting keys. Apartments are pretty new. The apartment is overall quite.

When we first moved here we had a functioning gym, and efficient cleaning service to maintain halls, and multiple maintenance personnel. Now we do not have a proper gym and can almost never get maintenance. But the rent keeps on going up. I realize this is a business but at the same time we should be here for the residence.

Based on my experience leasing an apartment here short-term in 2019, I unfortunately cannot recommend The Point At Stoughton to prospective renters. To begin with, I was leased an apartment that smelled heavily of cigarette smoke from the very first day of occupancy. The lobby, elevators, and hallways of the building also smelled (and continue to smell) heavily of cigarette smoke. Secondly, there was damage to the floor in the apartment's kitchen (that was disclosed ahead of time, in all fairness), that I was informed would be repaired within the first week or two of residency - this never happened. Next - when my sister stayed over as a guest for a couple of nights, and went to the business center to print out a document (needed as part of our mother's hospital stay at the time) she was screamed at by the property manager for reasons unknown & I was accused of "not being honest about who is living in the apartment." It's news to me that having a guest over for 2 days is considered someone occupying the apartment full-time. The printer was constantly out of ink, toner, or paper, such that we had no choice but to have the manager assist (and apparently read our emails in the process). Approaching the end of the lease, no instructions or procedures for move-out were ever provided to my wife or me, so I picked a moving date that was convenient for us about three weeks before the lease expired. The property manager came up to our apartment as things were in the process of being moved out and screamed at my wife, claiming we ignored emails from her asking if we were renewing the lease and when we were planning to move out. She also stated we'd be fined for supposedly ignoring these emails she never sent to us. When I followed up politely to ask what documentation was needed from us to close things out, MY emails were ignored. While the initial maintenance issues (minus the damage to the kitchen floor) were addressed promptly and completely (I can whole-heartedly recommend Chris on the maintenance staff for being thorough and courteous during our tenure here), the behavior of the property manager my family interacted with during our time here really ruined the entire experience for us. Based on this person alone, I cannot recommend that anyone pursue leasing an apartment here. The rent is simply too high to put up with unprovoked harassment when there are several comparable options in the same immediate area.

Panco Mgt ruined a once pretty good rental option. I’d thought I never say I miss Greystar. From poor customer service, to poor maintenance, to the overall quality of living has gone down. Need to make sure doors are shut at night. Enforce non-smoking policy, make sure amenities actual work, make sure dogs are on leashes and picked up after, and enforce resident parking only. Replace old smelly carpets, finish painting patched up walls, and make sure doesn’t take forever to fulfill maintenance request. The perceived value doesn’t match up with price. Definitely false advertising to say The Point is a “luxury apartment community”.
We signed with Coppermill the old management.. since they have switched over to the point it has been awful. The property manager is extremely arrogant and rude.. they are ripping people off and don't care what the tenants concerns are. Seriously if you have any issue at all no matter how big or small you will be lucky to even have them answer the phone. move ANYWHERE else but here.
I applied for an apartment here and decided not to live here I paid a $500 deposit for my application on Feb 6th 2019. It is now February 21st 2019. I've called this place at least 20x asking for my money back. Ive spoken with someone who stated that they refunded my money but thats a LIE. All other times no one picks up. Id say someone picks up 10% of the time. I want my MONEY. I will be going up there this weekend and if my money isn't in my hand by the time I leave I'm calling the Stoughton police for theft. DO NOT rent at this place. Totally unacceptable. i told them I was going to leave a review and I think they thought I was joking. i'm not
I've lived here for 5 years, and i have enjoyed them all. I have noticed a change in the atmosphere however and that I will share. The staff has done an excellent job in listening to the concerns of the residents in this past season, and that is a plus. the events that have been planned have been wonderful. The only thing that I find that is disturbing is all the stains on the carpets in the front and back area of my building due to the poor dogs who can't make it outside in time. Owners need to help their furry friends keep this a pet friendly community. The staff has been very diligent in their concerns about our complaints and that is a plus. the grounds are kept up great and it is a breath of fresh air to come home to Coppermill Park.
The buildings are spotless and smell nice. There is AC in the hallway is very pleasant, not stuffy or stale.
I lived there for a year from 2015 - 2016, wasn't the greatest experience. Trying to take a left turn on the main road in the morning was almost deadly. It would take upwards of 20mins before there was just enough room to dart out. People would not pick up after their dogs. The staff claimed they did a DNA saliva check of all the dogs in the complex so they could find out which tenants were not cleaning up after their dogs. From all the poop everywhere you could tell they were really adamant about that. After I moved out it took them three months to return my security deposit, which I finally received from having to constantly calling them. I have not lived there for a year now and just recently got a bill saying they were bought by another company and because of the "buying process" they miscalculated some bills and I still owed them money for water and sewer from last May. I was outraged that they sent me a bill a year later and expected me to pay it. I called to tell them I wasn't going to pay for a mistake on their part for a place I haven't lived in over a year. No matter how much I try to convey the principle of the matter; that this was poor customer service, their only solution was; you don't have to pay it, but it will get sent to collections. I would advise anyone that is moving to the Stoughton/Canton area avoid this place.
