Luxe At 1820

Great property with even a better staff of professionals. I recently moved in from out of state and had the pleasure of working with Olivia. She was very pleasant and helpful with answering my questions! She made a comment about how great the maintenance team was, and at first I thought it was funny, until I found a couple of items that needed attention during my move-in walk through. I turned in a maintenance request and within a few hours they were handling the issues which impressed me highly. The items were fixed quickly and easily! Overall I’m impressed with the property and management team and maintenance team!

We have been at Luxe and like the location and facilities. Thanks to the main office team led by Tristin Annie. Also thanks to Tony and his maintenance team for all the good work.

It’s worth living here just because the maintenance crew is on top of it. Juan and Tony always respond quickly to all my concerns, they recently replaced a microwave and are very professional!

If you’re looking for a place that treats you like family and not just residents Luxe 1820 is the place for you!! The office makes sure you feel welcomed the day you move in & maintenance is always there with a click of a button to take care of any indoor needs. No job is too big or too small for Tony. He has personally made it his mission to help the residents have a safe home. Not only does he get to your service request quick , he also always says hi as he passes by if you’re outside. Luxe is a place you can call home if you’re looking for a quiet & safe place for you and your family.

I highly recommend Luxe at 1820. The office staff is terrific, and the maintenance crew is absolutely stellar. The maintenance team always answers each service request promptly and resolves any issue. For example, just today, Jason helped to install a new ceiling fan in our living room and light kits in the ceiling fan in each of our two bedrooms. Jason always has such a caring, positive attitude and adds so much to this community!

This is easily one of the best apartments I’ve lived at. Property managers have been helpful. More importantly in my opinion, maintenance has been GREAT. It’s unrealistic to expect to never need maintenance in an apartment, so knowing that the staff is friendly, quick, efficient, and accurate is such a blessing. I work from home so I have always been around when they come by and they’re so helpful & kind.

I love living here! The apartments are spacious with a beautiful kitchen, garden tub, screened-in balcony, and amazing walk-in closets. Pamela was amazing through the whole moving process, and Lee & Tristan are so friendly and happy to help with any issues. The maintenance staff are all incredible and finish the requests within a day. Jason is especially great, and even helped build our couch when we moved in! I also love the amenities here including the gorgeous pool, gym, and package locker. The area is near everything you need and I feel really safe. Highly recommend living here!

I moved in just about a month ago. Since I moved from out of state, I did the process remotely and was VERY pleased with the staff and how easy the process of moving in was. Staff is VERY responsive and kind. The services offered are also top notch with a great location. Will be recommending to peers.

Tony and Jason are incredible with maintenance! They are efficient with their work and eager to please the tenants. They are respectful and very knowledgeable and professional in their approach! They are the best!!

The entire staff was welcoming and caring from the first time they answered the phone all the way past move in! Special thank you to Pamela who kept me in the loop and updated throughout the entire process! I have been looking for an apartment for months and they were the ONLY place who went the extra mile to make me feel more than just another applicant. I am happy to call Luxe at 1820 home. It is quiet, cozy, and close to all of the things I love. Super plus on the garden tubs that wowed me once I toured!

Roaches everywhere. Had them in my last apartment. Have them in the other one that I moved to (because of roaches in the first one) Horrible new management. Pool wifi is unstable, new managers response was thats OK because Wifi is in the home. People are working from home all day and would love to use the lounge but you literally can not maintain a call and have to be careful of how far to the left or right you step. It's a joke. Poor definition of Luxury. If you're looking for Luxury and are excited because of their professional pool photos you have been deceived my friend. Wish I could attach videos of all of the lovely roaches I have.

TL;DR, don't move here. I'm not sure where to begin. The walls and windows are painfully thin. I can hear a child crying from a floor below me, and cars all the way from S Falkenburg. Unreal. The amount of people here who walk around at 2am blaring music and acting like clowns is ridiculous. Happens almost every weekend from the same hoodrats. Other people live here too. Pest control is virtually useless. Found a roach, called pest control, found another walking around the kitchen. Even found one in my garage! Great place to live if you don't mind living with a few roaches. Halls and stairs usually have some trash laying on the floor, because some of these residents were never taught to pick up after themselves. The valet trash don't bother picking it up either, so here I am picking up rubbish from grown adults. No one knows how to pick up after their dogs. I like to go on walks outside of the property on Delaney Lake Dr, and I can't tell you how many times I've seen dog waste littered around the pond in the back of the property. This goes back to my previous statement where these residents have no idea how to pick up after themselves or their animal. I can't even imagine what their apartments look like. I'm still living here and will update this review in full before I move out, and that couldn't come soon enough.

I have been here for 6 months and I have to say I really enjoy living at Luxe! I have not had any issues since being here. The front office has been excellent with all questions and concerns. I really enjoy relaxing by the pool in the evenings and being able to walk my dog around without having to worry about the neighborhood. I definitely give this community a 5 STAR rating!

DO NOT MOVE HERE!! First off: my building is infested with German roaches. They love to downplay it and say it’s no big deal but both myself and my neighbor had to completely clear out the apartment for roach treatment. Even still, they know they’re in the walls and appliances (specifically the stove and microwave) which they did not replace. The office is well aware the entire building has issues because the last exterminator company was cheap and took how many resident complaints to get rid of but does the very minimum to put a bandaid on the problem. The air conditioner has already broken twice in the middle of the summer and took maintenance three tries over 3 days to get it right and again- they know it was an issue and would need on-going attention because it’s a low-quality unit. The locks to the front door constantly break. It’s cute and all to have a fancy keyless entry except when they go out every month or two (which again they know) but instead of getting better ones they settle on your calling emergency maintenance and have to sit at work all day worrying your door can’t lock. The pool is constantly packed full of people partying all hours of the day and night causing the staff to have to chain link the fence (which also is access to the gym). And have read multiple threads in the resident page people just walk in from across the street or sneak in and people that don’t even live here cause issues for residents but instead their solution is to punish residents who pay WAY too much to live here. The community WiFi constantly doesn’t work - Spectrum has had to come out multiple times to fix a quick and dirty transition from Frontier and you can’t even buy your own router or get a different service so if you’re like me and your devices don’t work half the time too bad. You can tell they do not care about or take care of the outside of buildings. They’re covered in dirt and grime, covered with cobwebs and smell like trash and poop. The trash outside by the back gate is constantly overflowing with garbage and litter and is embarrassing to live here. Bottom line is: nothing works, they did cheap renovations and then have the audacity to jack up the rates and call this place a “luxury apartment”. Save yourself.

Just horrible in every single way. Rocks all over the parking lot, dog poop everywhere, PAPER thin walls, NO water pressure. This place is the exact opposite of “luxe.” It’s terrible and I do not recommend anyone live here! And seriously folks...the walls are paper thin. If you are on the first or second floor you will hear every footstep. It’s bad.

Me and my boyfriend stay in a one bedroom and the renovation in our closet is for someone who is single with the ugly ikea cabinet organizer none of our items can fit. Carlyle use to power wash the hallways and stairs and now it looks like the community is undesirable. I’m just overall disappointed. Once we get everything settled on our house we will be moving and will not recommend anyone to come live here at LUXE at 1820.

This place is not luxury. The cabinets are cheap and you can actually hear people having sex through walls. My packages are missing and getting delivered to random address. Customer service is not great.

I have been here for four months. There has been amendment change. The previous management took the occupants opinions on the environment since then a new management company has come in. Previously it was quiet, comfortable, warm and inviting. Since the takeover it has been loud, The workers have been obnoxious the apartment has become unwelcome and uncomfortable because of the changes that have been made so far. More changes are to come and if they are anything like what they are doing so far I will be sure to depart this complex post haste. Honestly, for the price they are devaluing the property. They would rather spend money updating toilets and installing bad lighting then installed new appliances. Don’t waste your money. You have been warned.

If you want to sleep at night, feel like you can go to the pool to enjoy with your family or not step on dog waste then this is the place for you FYI the Maintenance team are so nice and helpful Most of the office staff are great when I heard Lynsey was gone I thought that was the Best change they made since I move in what ruin person

Four years in this community speaks for itself. Great staff, great amenities, comfortable campus, and quiet little spot in the middle of a lot to do. It'll be a tough decision if I decide to leave.

The complex reminds me of a beautiful, close knit family. Everyone is welcoming and we all look out for each other.

I have been a homeowner for the past 40 years and was skeptical about apartment living (a lot of horror stories out there). This is a remarkable community, upgraded and well thought out. The grounds are beautiful, so much is natural beauty. The personnel are second to none. The residents are friendly and it really does give you a since of community. It seems to have been planned this way. I'm very happy here.

Great staff, they respond timely to every request. They are always available if you need them which is super comforting and helpful.

Maintenance service is pretty good. Submitted a request for service and it was taken care of right away on a Sunday. Very impressed.

Great place to live if you are interested in a smoke free, close to major access roads, clean apts, gym is nice, pool is awesome and so much more.

Great place, great management and great location.

My stay at Carlyle at Crosstown was due to Hurricane Irma destroying my home and we were being temporary houses here. I have never lived in apartment before and always thought it would be bad but having lived at Carlyle it has been an awesome experience! It is such a beautiful community, everyone including the management is so friendly! There is always community events or contests going on, it really shows that they care about you as a resident. Any concerns I had I would talk to management and they would put me at ease right away! If I were to move into an apartment I would definitely come back here.

This a beautiful apartment with friendly staff. Its a smoke free apartment and I live the peace and quiet. I will recommend this apartment any day any time.

I am a new resident of Carlyle. I absolutely love my place. It's beautiful. The staff is great. They are very accommodating and friendly.

Very nice apartment complex with great features.

I moved in a year and half ago, wow times have changed and the property has loud music and taken over by guests of a renter throwing college pool parties. Total change and more than you bargain for when renting at this price range. Too many options out there, look elsewhere, save the headache.

All depends on your neighbors. Use to love it here but there letting anybody in here now days. Like a mother with 3 kids in a one bedroom, I really don't see how that's okay... but when you complain about the every morning, afternoon and weekend screaming and fighting coming out of said apt. "Oh no, she says they don't live there" Okay?!? Also management ignores all complaints about rowdiness and constant noise at the pool even at midnight... Most of the maintenance people are super nice, great place if you have dogs and love that it's one of the few if not only places to have a smoke free community in Tampa... if they would stop jacking up the prices and stop letting trash move in I would actually stay and sign my 5th lease. But nope... Oh also if you have a phobia of snakes I wouldn't live here either...

The overall quality is solid. The apartments are quiet with good amenities - pool, exercise, community charcoal & gas grills, dog parks, kid parks, outdoor pool clubhouse with ping pong and billiards, and enough green spaces. Allows all breeds and sizes of dogs. Totally smoke free complex. Generally a nice family and professional clientele the only negatives is the young guys with supped up vehicles that rev their engines and come in late - you get used to it but if they weren't there it would be a super great and quiet place. Rent is a bit on the high side for the age of the complex but it is something that I balance against the location and ease to get to those places I like to frequent. I would recommend it for professionals and young families that can afford the rent. You can jump on Lee Roy Selmon Expressway, hit the mall, or head out on I-75 all in seconds. There are times I have looked for other places but continue to stay here because it feels like home.
