Property Ratings at M North
Security gates are ALWAYS broken and take WEEKS to fix every single time. Management is apathetic. Don't care to get anything done. Packages are stolen from your front door since UPS doesn't actually use the package lockers and management won't accept packages. Choose a property where you actually get what you pay for.
I loved living at MNorth! I lived there for the last 4 years And only moved because I got a bigger space. I am so grateful for the staff (Kevin, Jesus, Anthony, Keila, etc.)! They treated me like family and were always available to assist me with any questions I had. I will never forget the love I received while I was there. Things were not always perfect while I have to be honest about, however, those were things the apartment could not control as much. Two examples are: 1) I did experience loud neighbors from time to time, 2) the gates had a lot of issues. I loved all the amenities and felt safe living there. Being so close to everything I needed including I-4 and downtown was a dream! Will definitely miss it !

The Rent is over Priced here, constantly here police & fire truck alarms going off. They charge you unnecessarily fees, $300 late fee for being 1 day late paying rent no exceptions. They don't care about you being sick or situations due to COVID. Charged me $50 garbage fee when I already pay $25 trash fee. This Apt is clearly out to get you for your money. I would Not recommend no family or friends to live here. This is Not treated like a community more like they treat you like you living at Hotel were you have pay all unnecessarily fees. Ridiculous & Fed Up!!!
Don’t move into building 3624, fist building next to the school. The trash comes to the school at 3/4 in the morning , recycling comes around midnight and during the day the school gets a lot of delivery’s. The noises from the trucks are extremely loud . It’s like a non stop loading dock . Don’t move into this building!!!!!
After living here for 10 months, and dealing with an ongoing noise problem for 9 of those months, I have come to the conclusion that this apartment complex management team simply doesn't care enough to help me. And I would like to warn those who may be considering living here. If you are susceptible to noise problems, do not move here. Here is a list of what I have done to try and get some help with my problem. 6 emails to the management team 10 visits to the office 8 calls to the security service (all during quiet hours) 10 recordings of various noises coming from my ceiling After being told multiple times that this is something that would be looked into, here is my paraphrased response from the property manager: I seem to be a person that prefers to live in a quiet space (no TV, radio, other constant noise producers), despite my producing music, watching movies and videos, and playing video games regularly. It would help my situation to have more of my own noise produced, such as possibly a noise machine for while I sleep. My noise recordings of the neighbors could not be compared to anything because there was no noise coming from my own apartment at the time (this is because most recordings were taken during quiet hours). I simply wanted to leave this review so that nobody gets stuck in the same situation I find myself in, because it can be quite annoying. There are other apartments in the local area which have been more than happy to help in situations such as these (even when I am on the receiving end). Other than that, it's a great property!
I went out of town for Labor Day weekend and paid my rent immediately on my return. They charged a $200 late fee and $25 more for the water bill so a total of $225 for being on day late on rent. The 1st was a weekend so that couldn't cash the check anyway.
The apartment inside are overall nice so are the grounds in the amenities. The appliances and everything in the apartment are however made very cheap we had a few brand new appliances break. When began the move in process and paid all of our deposits then they gave away our apartment and had no more floor plans like the one we were supposed to move in to. Then had to go back and forth asking them to give us the model apartment. I would not recommend moving in here unless you want to feel like you live in a prison. You will get a fined for anything. Something as little as putting the trash out on the wrong day or if you don't tie the bag properly or put out too many bags $50. There is no grace period for the rent. First month living there we talked with an office employee and he told us we were okay to pay on the second. We had been doing it the entire year we lived there. Then all of the sudden got charged $200 and was told they got more strict on reienforcing the policy and would not take the fee away even though we had been paying it for a year on the second and we're told it was okay. The office does not listen to your concerns and they are the most unreasonable property management I've ever lived for. You pay a lot of money for rent and get no parking within the gate. There's no parking ever for residents if you come home past 8 o'clock. Not to mention the gate is always broken. We love the apartment but couldn't stand feeling like we are living in a prison. You can only have two pool guest per apartment. They have these two huge grills and fire pit that you cannot enjoy with friends because of the guest limit, also pool closes at nine so you can never use the fire pit. I understand rules need to be in place and I want to keep the community nice. But there's so many rules that are not reasonable. What's the point living here if you can't enjoy anything the community has to offer and a difficult office staff.
I did a lot of research when looking to move to this area, and have been SO happy with my choice. M North is a place I've called "home" for 2 years and everything has exceeded my expectations. The new management team is adamant about keeping residents happy - the staff is friendly, hosts many community events (movie nights, ice cream socials), and listens to feedback. The units themselves are beautiful with nice, open layouts and spacious patios. When looking at other communities, I found that M North's hardwood flooring, stainless steal appliances, and granite countertops were a RARITY! These little details truly make the apartment feeling more homey but without the extraordinary upcharge that other complexes have. With the broader Millenia area growing, M North is in a great location, where you're able to walk or bike to get quick eats or go shopping. I love this community! Highly recommend!
Great place to live! Extremely responsive leadership and a proactive maintenance team. I moved in last year when as ownership changed hands. The current management upgraded the gates, installed speed bumps and improved safety. Besides having an onsite Courtesy Officer, there is additional onsite security at night. As a new construction property, the energy efficient appliances and great insulation have kept my 2 bedroom apartment's electric bill at only $60-90 a month. All of the amenities are well maintained and the pool is immaculate.
We've lived at M North for just under a year now. We were super excited to be the first people to live in our unit, and while the apartment complex is nice it's not great. The apartment itself is a nice design with a very open kitchen. The wood floors in the kitchen, living room, and bathroom are nice, but they could have used a higher grade carpet in the bedroom. The grounds are nicely kept, but the surcharge for the "lake view" is hardly worth it since you also have a major street in the background or a school (depending on which lake you look at). The maintenance workers are friendly and complete their work requests in a timely manner. The main issues are with the way the complex has been managed. The front gate is routinely broken because there are no sensors in place to stop it if a car is too close to the gate while it opens. The office is aware of this, but doesn't want to invest in the technology to protect the gate or prevent damage to cars. Also, USPS has had many issues with locating the address because the address is so new (it shows as being on the opposite side of the street where Wawa is). While the management didn't cause this, they didn't show any interest in working with the local USPS office to get things fixed (or even to get the apartment updated on Google Maps). Because of the issues with mail, we've lost several things that we were expecting and needed. Will we stay in the apartment another year, probably not. We need more space and for the money we can get a 2bedroom elsewhere.
