Do not rent here. I’m a 70 year old woman who has been forced to live in a pest infested apartment by this apartment complex. I worked with them for months, yet MAA was not able to resolve the bug problem (COCKROACHES, SPIDERS, WORMS, ANTS, and more). When I couldn’t take it anymore I decided to move out and they’re charging me $2,660 to break the lease. They clearly do not prioritize the well-being of their tenants or keeping bugs out of the apartments. Beware of renting here! I'm very dissapointed that they have denied my request to have this fee waived, considering they were aware of the issue and unable or unwilling to resolve it.

The parking situation is TERRIBLE and there are not really enough spaces. They are CONSTANTLY towing cars. Cops show up 3x a week. You can hear everything outside the windows, every time someone starts their car or pulls in, or walks by talking you hear it in your apartment. Before we moved out there were major issues with dog poop everywhere. People just wouldn't clean it up. The recycling area was usually packed and gross. The prices they are charging are pretty crazy for what you're getting. When we moved out we notified them over 60 days in advance, and said we would need to extend our time by about 2 weeks. They wanted to charge us the month to month rate (which was double our rent) rather than prorate us at the current rate through the end of the month. After resistance from them they finally charged what they should have for the extra couple of weeks. Insane they try to squeeze us like that, not like we asked at the last second, this was over 2 months from our move out date. Left an incredibly bad taste in my mouth for this place.

don't live here. parking is limited. I live here and renew the rental contract but I regret it. My car was taken by the tow truck and I am authorized to park.

The apartments have slightly outdated interiors, the lighting makes the rooms seem orange and dingy, they don't clean between renters so we had to deal with a lot of dust, some floor stains and ripped carpet in the closets. The parking is awful and will normally have you parking far from your apartment if you get home after 6 pm. The trash situation is easily the worst as they have it located far from some buildings and its alway overflowing, either around the compactor or in a dumpster they have to rent and drop infront of it. I was able to get a good deal on my apartment but when it came time to possibly resign they jacked the prices up over $200 for another 14 month lease. Management staff are like car sales people, polite and sweet to your face but looking for as much money as possible when you leave.

I lived in these apartments from Feb/2012 until May/2013. There were a few issues with the air conditioning. I went almost 1 month without a/c (they did give me a window unit). They were trying to fix it themselves so they could save money instead of having a professional a/c technician charge them to fix it. So the office did not like me speaking up about my discomfort. Well, I was going through a tough time and was late on my rent 2 days. They filed for eviction on April 7th, 2013...2 days late. What kind of a person does that to a single parent with 2 kids.

I enjoy living at the residence and the staff are very pleasant to work with. My only compliant and it rather infuriating is the parking and towing policies.
I have had a pleasant living experience at Colonial Village. Any issues I?ve had have been resolved in a very timely manner. The only complaint I have is the parking situation. I don?t feel there is enough primary parking. If I come home after 7:00 pm there is a big chance I?ll be walking a good distance from my parking spot to apartment.
Great except for parking and new neighbor below
Have been here almost 3 years. New office staff are very professional. Have had a few repairs needed over the last year, the response was quick. My only complaint is my apartment hasn?t been updated, carpet is very worn. Have asked to have it replaced and was told they don?t do it while someone is occupying apartment. Parking has become much better with new map. Great location.

I am very pleased here I have been here since Sept 2016 my husband passed away in 2018 and I moved to a smaller place I will continue to live here as long as it stays the same With keeping the grounds nice and all the work that has to be done in a timely Manner so far the staff is Outstanding
We have lived here as retirees for nearly 2 years with our dog, Roscoe. The property is well-cared for both the grounds and the apartments. We love being able to get a quick response from Maintenance whenever we need a repair, and then they ask us via email how the service was. The office personnel are always very friendly and helpful. The location is great with access to many stores, services, and schools.

Very Happy our daughters have grown and married, we love our court yard view, having our family dog! The pool and work out room nice! Grills for a picnic!No yard work!Close to shopping and our church!

This is the worst apartment I have ever lived out of 8. First the parking is the worst. The complex do not have enough parking spaces for how many apartments they have. There is literally no where to park, and I've had visitors cars towed 3 times. The staff are horrible, they act like airheads. I was conned into this apartment, everything is nice and sweet when you are interested and viewing the property. Please beware and do not rent from this place.

Carpets had all kinds of stains on it and feels like no padding left under it. If I open my sliding glass doors I am getting my downstairs neighbors smoke in my house. Recently I'm hearing a lot of dogs barking and dog waist not being picked up. I guess I had not thought about all these unpleasant things living in an apartment complex.
This is a nice complex but the parking issue would have kept me far away from this place. They made sure to keep the parking situation discreet until move in and I have not been happy with this place since then. I really regret signing a lease here. Sometimes I have to park at the very front my the complex and walk to the back because there is no where to park, and this is with a primary pass that allows you to park anywhere. I have a child and having to park that far at night and walk with him or groceries is such a hassle... I always have an issue with the parking process this is not just coming from one bad experience, parking here is ALWAYS a bad experience and I wish I would have known this in advance because I would definitely have choose not to live here.
The staff either lost or stole one of my packages and attempted to blame the delivery company. Upon contacting the delivery company, they were able to give us the name of the staff member that signed for it. Upon confronting the assistant manager with this info, it was insinuated that I could not be trusted because I was potentially a felon because the background check on me was not thorough enough... what a way to welcome a guy and his family back to the States after living abroad for a few years.

There are not enough parking spots for residents. I have a primary sticker and have to park buildings away if I get off of work late. It's a joke.
Our apt is in a great location minutes from the freeways, shopping, downtown Apex, recreation. It's only 20 minutes to Raleigh and the Research Triangle. The apartment was clean and the pics on the website were an accurate representation of the unit. Neighbors are friendly and quiet. The pool is great and the grounds are kept neat. the Colonial Grand at Beaver Creek made our move as easy as possible staff is great and maintenance requests are addressed quickly.
We have downsized from a home are daughters have gown, My husband & I feel we live in a vacation home, we love the court yard view, & going to the pool.
