A major suburb of Austin, Cedar Park gets you right into the area without having to live in the big city. If you like peace and quiet but don't want to live all the way out in the woods, then Cedar Park is the place to be. It's nice living so close to one of the biggest music cities in America, but you don't even need to leave Cedar Park to take in a great concert. If you want entertainment, check out the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park. The center plays host to everything from monster truck shows to country and hip hop concerts. Cedar Park is only about 16 miles from Downtown Austin, making this an ideal location for commuters. Cedar Park is considered one of the fastest-growing cities in the country.
Cedar Park's claim to fame (besides the H-E-B Center) is the Heritage Oak Tree, a 400-year-old live oak that stands 57 feet tall and is 80 feet around. This massive tree is decorated during the holiday season with over 30,000 lights.

Property Ratings at MAA Brushy Creek
They did not ready my apartment when I moved in July 2019. The dishwasher and washer were full of dirty water, plenty of hair all around the corners of all my carpet, and Garage full of spiders and ants. The sound from Parmer is horrifying. Traffic starts at 5 am and do not stop till midnight. My family can hardly sleep in building 3. They increase the rent every year by a large amount, despite the low servicing of homes. I complained several times to the front desk about my broken dishwasher, apart from not fixing it, they gave lectures on which good detergent to use. After complaining multiple times, when I told them that I am going to call someone from outside to look at it, they send another technician to check who confirmed and replaced it. Ants, spiders and bugs infestation is the worst in these apartments. A few more families established that. I have had 38 requests so far for fixes in the apartment, and I have lived 1.5 years. These are old and dirty apartments. Can't wait for my lease to end. There was no clauking in the end of my front doors. I let the front office know the amount of lizards, spiders, bugs and their babies, are crawling into my house, but they did not acknowledge the problem for a long time. I had to request a handyman fixing something in my neighbor's apartment to fix this for me. Its been seriously tough living in a space where the front office is rude and many times just shuts you down displacing your problems.

Overall very nice. We have some issues with residents allowing their dogs off leash with no reminders/reprimands for not following this rule and leash law and not picking up after their pets waste. We understand that this can be somewhat hard to enforce though and are overall very happy here
Great neighbors friendly
You may not want to use this for marketing. I have lived here for 8 years and have been very pleased with Silverado. I have had one major complaint for quite a while which has not been resolved which I believe would not be great for marketing--the community garbage/recycling area. It is not only unsightly but I believe a health hazard--it is difficult to find a time when garbage is out everywhere in the area. This issue should really be addressed because otherwise this is a great community.
An overall good living experience, had some minor issues with downstairs neighbors when I first moved in, and if you want to talk to management, you have to go in person because they rarely answer the phone and never return calls or emails.
The reasons I came back to Silverado was because of: 1) Location to major roads and Brushy Creek Park. 2) Floor plan and pricing. 3) The staff is awesome.
Excellent - safe and spacious apartments with a great team of staff
Close proximity to many community event locations, school events and shopping/dining opportunities. Office staff is very professional and responsive to every request
I have had a very good experience living here over the past year. The employees with the company are extremely friendly, and quick to take care of any needs that I have had. It is a quite property, and the residents I have met are very friendly. The only downside to the complex is that the apartments need to be updated. Given the cost of the rent, I feel that the apartments on the inside could be updated. The kitchen mainly, the countertops and cabinets could really use a face lift. The floors in the kitchen and bathrooms could use some updating as well.
I like to live here because it very quiet and privacy
My wife and I have lived here since July 2011 after I retired from the U.S. Government, and we are Very Satisfied at this time with our living experience here. We moved to Texas to be closer to our daughter and son who moved to Texas in the 1980's after college and military service. This was our first apartment living since 1960 for 2 years when I graduated from The Ohio State University; we have owned 4 houses over the years, but in retirement chose apartment living again. We have been very pleased with our time here in Silverado Apartment Homes, and would recommend it to families, especially families without small children - teenagers children would be OK. The safety in the apartment community is not the best, in my view, for small children, because traffic control is limited and many drivers travel entirely too fast in our community - the installation of "speed bumps" have helped, but those with better cars travel over them still too fast for the safety of pedestrians - there are limited walkways throughout the complex. The service from the Front Office Staff has been excellent, and the maintenance staff do excellent work. I am an engineer and can properly judge the quality of repairs made throughout the area by the maintenance staff. We have no intention in moving from here, unless the monthly rent is increased much more than expected based on the economy - we are on a good retirement budget, but large increases in rental and service expenses could be a problem in the future for the normal retirement income yearly increases to handle; I watch then along with the advice of a financial manager.
We really enjoy living here, but the increase in rent each year is hard for us to absorb, since we are on a fixed income..
My stay at Silverado has been great, the staff is very helpful and friendly, though a bit older. The complex is very well maintained and the size of the apartment for what you?re paying is VERY reasonable, my biggest and only complaint is the time it takes for service orders, I?ve been waiting for nearly 3 weeks for my apartment to be fixed
I have lived here for nine years and absolutely love it. It's been owned by the same company for the entire time I've been here (and since it opened, I believe), so it has been up kept nicely. The staff has always been very friendly and every service/maintenance issue I've ever had has been handled within 24 hours. The only thing I miss is we used to have curb side trash pickup, but no more because I think too many people were leaving their trash out on the wrong days. Our apartment is so light with huge windows and an amazing view, which is nice. Oh, and the side gate sometimes stays open for long periods of time--thats the only real complaint I have. It is older with white and not stainless steel appliances, but for the price, it's still very nice. Would highly recommend!
This place is perfect if you are out in Cedar Park, and you want access to a great park, a quick drive to downtown, and still want to be close to all that Cedar Park has to offer. The common areas are well maintained and the staff is very helpful and quick to respond if needed. With this apartment, you get access to a beautiful pool and barbecue area within the complex, but right across the street is Brushy Creek Park where you get 13 miles of running/biking trail, a lake with paddle board and kayak rentals, and a splash pad. It's the perfect place to live in Cedar Park!

I love my apartment. Looking out at the green grass and pool side. Nothing better than waking up to that every morning.
This is by far the best complex I have ever lived in. The grounds is the best designed of any I've lived in or looked at in the last 20 YRS. they have won several awards for their landscaping. The staff is also one of the best ever. They are always friendly, nice & courteous. Repair orders are taken care of in a very timely manor. Maintenance personnel are always on time & very polite. And they fix things right the first time. Without a doubt the nicest apartment complex I've ever lived!
Silverado apartments offer a spacious apartment with quick maintenance and good monthly rental rates.
Quite community in great area with great schools. Great staff very helpful.
