The apartment complex is nice and kept well maintained. Sometimes the pool is dirty with leaves/bugs, but other than that both pools are really nice with grills and lots of chairs, the gym is small and only has treadmills, stationary bike, and 2 cable machines, no free weights or anything more but is kept clean. Front office staff is nice and helpful. Maintenance is pretty quick to attend to any issues usually same day or next day. The biggest complaint...The NOISE!! I can hear EVERYTHING from my neighbors above, below, next to me, and the bathroom vents are all connected so conversations of someone next to you are heard clear as day. If you live here I HIGHLY recommend a top floor unit, it sounds like elephants upstairs constantly when I know all they're doing is walking in their apartment. I hear dogs, babies, water running from everyone around me, maybe that's just apartment living but there is certainly no noise insulation between units.

Gym sucks, too small, broken equipment and on top of all that i just went to work out and walked into a homeless person sleeping on the floor, so the security lock is pointless. Cant wait to leave this place.

My personal in opinion is all this company cares about is doing the least amount possible and charging the most they can for it. I would never sign another lease with this company or any of its properties. Please think twice!!! My original review was too long but I have saved and will post else where. I have had numerous issues since move in and am more than disappointed with this company. Maintenance is ridiculous, leasing office changes info every time I talk to them, no consideration for family emergencies or death. Lacks basic understanding, sympathy, or interest in the well-being of others to include their tenants.

It is close to work, freeway, and shopping. Very quiet, and so far good neighbors. However grounds upkeep has been lagging, there are several lights out and people are not picking up after their dogs. Some of the dogs are quite large. Maintenance is quick to fix problems that arise; although it took 2 years to solve my refrigerator problem. Once discovered I got new fridge. Rent increase is quite large considering I do not get a yearly raise. I work for a school district and have received only one pay raise in 12 years. I understand that rents do increase yearly, but 50.00 is a lot of money.
I have no complaints about this complex, it?s safe, well maintained and the staff are pretty much the reason I chose to live here. As a single woman living alone, these things were very important to me. If rent was more manageable for my budget, I would stay longer.
Good for the most part. Parking can sometimes be an issue. They obviously were in a hurry to get our unit ready because they didn't clean super well before painting and were sloppy with paint (painted over hair and dust on baseboards and paint spatter on some of the floors). Good responsiveness to work requests and the office staff is always friendly and helpful.
It?s a very friendly environment and the location is perfect for me
Very comfortable, repairs are done fast .and the grounds seem well maintained.
Besides being broken into on the first day, the maintenance and office has been super helpful!
We have been living here for almost 2 years now and this apartment complex is AMAZING! Not to mention all the grass areas and space they have for my dogs to run and play on. Maintenance is always there for us as soon as we have an issue with ANYTHING in our apartment. Our AC went out last year and they came in on their day off and still gave the best customer service. Not once did it seem like he was mad or annoyed to have been called in on his day off. I highly recommend this apartment complex to our friends and family that are in search for a new place to live. It may be a little pricey, but it certainly helps to keep out all the sketchy people. Not once have we had issues. The pool and BBQ areas are amazing and always very well maintained. If you're looking for an apartment, there is no better one out there than this one.

What a wonderful review about Colonial Grand at Inverness Commons! Thank you so much for your complimentary feedback and for recommending us to your friends and family. Our expert team works diligently to exceed resident expectations. It is great to know that they are doing their job well. Thank you, too, for appreciating everything about our community and for being our long-term resident.
We have lived here for about a year and I just want to post this so people are aware. 1) They make you buy cox cable for $45 a month, there is no option to not have cable 2) They will take advantage of you if you don't remember to let them know your contract ends 60 days before it ends. They do not notify you that you need to do this, so if you forget, you will be paying rent on this apartment even after you move out. 3) The fitness room air conditioner is broken so it is incredibly hot during the summer. 4) The pool has tons of little rocks in it to hurt your feet. 5) If there is someone in the entryway of the apartment building, they may as well be in your apartment because you can hear everything they are saying.

My roommate and I moved into a 2bed2bath over two weeks ago. Upon move in, I discovered that my shower didn't have hot water. I made a maintenance request the next day, after which maintenance people came to inspect my shower. They dismantled some parts and found a broken part, so they left to order a new one. They told me the part would take 2 days to ship. It's been two weeks. Every day, I disrupt my roommate's privacy to use his shower. I recently had to shower while he was sick and sleeping - I didn't want to take an ice cold shower, so I instead had to heat a pot of water on the stove and use that. I've brought this up at least five times with the front office, and I've gotten nothing more than "sorry, but we don't know why that part is taking so long to ship." Hey, I get it, it's clearly not your fault that the part is taking an absurd amount of time to ship. But why can't you just order another? Why didn't you complain to the seller? Why do you insist on billing us for two bathrooms when we've had to share one? And that's not all - multiple parts of the apartment weren't ready when we moved in. The hardwood flooring was covered in dirt. Siding wasn't installed. The washing machine wasn't hooked up. The tubing near the washing machine was leaking (which they only discovered after hooking it up). Each time they send maintenance, they track dirt onto the carpet. Hey, I get it, they need to wear shoes for safety reasons. But they didn't tell me I could request them wear plastic booties until after the third repair. Thanks, I'll keep that in mind after I personally scrub the floor that's been dirty since I moved in.

Please accept our sincerest apologies on this matter, and any inconvenience it may have caused you and your roommate. Our primary goal is to provide our residents with complete satisfaction and the highest level of service, and we have failed in this instance. Please call us at 866-620-1130, so we may make arrangements within your schedule to repair your shower.
I moved into these apartments last October. At first, I was very happy with the company, the facility, the employees were all great. However, in December, our washing machine malfunctioned, & ended up continuously pumping water out & as it was also not draining well, it ended up flooding our 3rd floor apartment, to the extent that there was 3 inches of standing water on the vinyl floor in our bathroom. There was very little carpet that was not soaking wet under foot. Long story short, the flooding was so severe that it ended up seeping through the floor of both the 2nd & 1st floor apartments below us. And the apartment company's solution? To pull up our carpet & place a large industrial sized blowing fan under the carpet above the carpet pad in order to "dry" the carpet out. The fan was on high for a week, & I could still feel damp carpet when they came to inspect the apartment and deemed it "fixed" & removed the fan. In January, I noticed that upon entering the apartment, it smelled musty. I knew it had to be mold from the washer, & after about a week I found the mold in our hall closet, just around the corner of the washer. We called the office, & were informed that someone would come over the next day to remove the mold. I came home to another industrial blower under the carpet, a fresh paint job in the closet, & a musty smell. In June, my fiance had a change of jobs & we were forced to break our lease to move to another state. Per the extensive lease agreement, we were required to pay $3843.84 to break our lease (which included rent through the end of August, even tho we moved out on July 11). We did this, as it was in the lease. After getting all of our belongings out of the apartment, I just so happened to find BLACK MOLD in our BEDROOM!! For the past 6 months we have been sleeping 3 feet away from a wall that was infested with black mold. This was enough to make me upset, as it is on a wall 3 inches above the carpet & 10 feet from the washer so I guarantee it is in the carpet padding. I went to the apartment office to inform them & as soon as I explained this I was asked if I had hired to have the carpets professionally cleaned, as that is "policy." They want me to pay to hire a carpet service to "clean" the carpet in the apt. that should have been replaced in December!! AFTER paying nearly $4000, they want me to pay to replace the carpet. The carpet that is SURE to be filled with mold. I wouldn't recommend these apartments.
We've lived here for about a month now, and we love this apartment. The floor plan, the grounds, the staff. We have no real complaints, except for the dude who starts his motorcycle every morning at 4:30am below our bedroom window. Considering I wake up at 5:30, that's not too bad, but still. Super annoying. But that is no fault of the apartment complex or management.
That rare feeling that you're actually getting what you're paying for...and maybe more...every day and even every year is yours at this beautiful complex in Mesa, Arizona.
