The women at the front desk Julia is clearly inexperienced and lacks the ability to admit when she’s wrong. She rushed my move in date and the apartment nor the appliances where what she showed in the viewing. The Lead maintenance guy doesn’t know how to open a toolbox box, by the looks of thing’s he cant use measuring tape either. There are multiple things still wrong around here, the dumpster has been broke since the day I moved in, they won’t give the number to corporate so people can report the horrible job they’ve been doing. I’m looking for a new place already and it been only 3 months.

Moved in to one apartment for less than a month and The walls were falling apart, the blinds had stains all over them roaches and water bugs coming from the closet from the people downstairs, mold in the cabinet that was just wiped up by a maintenance man and not even investigated, we had to push the cabinet back ourselves to see that it was going up the wall, dripping faucets even after the maintenance man came to look and “fixed it” it was still broken. They don’t take accountability for nothing everything is your fault and everything you say is wrong. Nobody knows how to do their job they just wanna make money from you. They don’t listen to any of the complaints, neighbors are rude blasting loud music. Parking is terrible people park in front of spots and block people in no one knows how to park most people park over the line. I don’t recommend this place on my worst enemy!

Very pleasant and a quiet community.
We have been here from August 2017 and never had any issues. It was a smooth transition over the renewel period
I have lived here going on 3 years now, and it feels like home. Aside from music from a particular neighbor, I have no complaints. Office staff and the maintenance crew are very respectful, prompt, and helpful.
I used to love living here until recently. I've lived here for two years and won't be renewing my lease. Out of the blue I began seeing roaches and bugs and I'm a very clean person. Apartment needs to be renovated for the price you are paying you can find something a lot nicer. Neighbors are friendly and staff is nice too! One huge negative I have neighbors leave trash in front of their doors when the complex doesn't offer valet trash. Probably how I started getting roaches. Mandatory cable is a waste of money!

The only thing good about this place is the location and maintenance man. The new “management” leaves a lot to be desired. Couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Take it from me find somewhere else in the area.

After never receiving a final bill upon moving out I have instead received a letter from a collections agency stating that I never paid that final bill. I quickly called CG to resolve this issue & ended up speaking with the property manager who is by far one of the most unprofessional individuals I have ever had the trouble of speaking with. She could care less that I never received a final bill even though I made sure that my forwarding address was in the paperwork they "required" me to fill out prior to moving out. It was obviously of no concern to her that the ball was dropped amongst her & her staff because after living at these apartments for two years never making one rental payment late I would have gladly paid the bill. Either way she didn't care, hung up the phone on me & continues to represent Colonial Grand/MAA properties which is very unfortunate. Be mindful of where you choose to live, no one should pay thousands of dollars to live somewhere & be treated with the disrespect that I just received. I will make sure that everyone I come in contact with is aware of my mistreatment & the representation that Colonial Grand has at its properties.

Located about 20 minutes from downtown Charlotte, these well maintained apartments offer spacious rooms, good natural lighting and plenty of closet and cabinet space. Getting to anywhere and everywhere is incredibly easy. Walk a half mile to several restaurants and shops or hop in your car and within 5-10 minutes you could be at any one of dozens of restaurants/eateries, shopping venues (Concord Mills, Kohl's, Target, Super Walmart, IKEA, etc) or grocery stores. The apartment complex itself is a small community with an exceptionally pleasant, personable, attentive/responsive staff. The complex offers a beautiful pool area with lounge chairs, gas grills and eating/dining areas as well as a fitness center, a small Wi-Fi lounge and a car care center. It's a great living experience all around.
