This apartment complex was a great place to live! I was very pleased with how responsive the leasing office was. They made sure to resolve any issues and get back to you as soon as possible. Maintenance was quick to tend to any requests. They were also very communicative about anything tenants should know about, such as exterior painting, recarpeting, etc. Additionally, the location of Yale @ 6 was excellent! Would definitely live here again if I was moving back to the area!

BEWARE and definitely take time to read these reviews! I, along with my spouse, were residents here for 3 yrs and for the most part enjoyed our stay. A few things to consider: 1. The walls are definitely thin. You hear every door close from surrounding neighbors, children running through the hallways, dogs barking on balconies from owners who obviously forgot they let them out there. 2. The security of the building is what sold us, however, be sure to have multiple ways to enter the building (an extra fob and/or the keypad connected to your phone for access; because the fob will not work at the most inconvenient times. 3. The pool was divine during the weekdays when very few people were out there, but the weekends were quite the opposite. It was obvious the “2 guest limit” was not being adhered to. 4. Finishes in the apartment were definitely cheap. Ex. Sofa legs started to make indentations on the floor just by us sitting on it to watch tv. Had to purchase an area rug to offer cushion (barrier) to not damage the floor. 5. Location is GREAT, but it comes at a steep price! The move out was what landed this property a 1-star review. I was being relocated for work and my company paid a HEFTY fee (upwards of $5k) to terminate our lease early, along with all other fees associated with moving. We even paid for a professional cleaning service to clean the unit. All was well UNTIL we were being charged for damage to the shower in the unit…..$2k worth of damage! Two adults with no pets or children. You have got to be kidding! I guess since all the money was paid promptly for all the move out fees, they figured why not keep this money train rolling. They reported it on my credit, which I take VERY seriously, and with every dispute refuses to withdraw this erroneous charge. A mature, professional couple with no pets, no children, that paid in full and on time rent during the entire pandemic, that are not only GREAT tenants, but good hardworking and kind people that follow rules, protects our own peace as well as our neighbors, and certainly does not damage property. What a shame.

Have really liked staying in the Yale @ 6th complex. We live in a spacious 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment. I love the location, there's a nice running/walking trail behind us. Postinos, restaurants, coffee shops, and all good things in walkable distance. The management, maintenance services have also been really helpful in answering questions and fixing things. Really happy with my stay so far!

Do NOT move here. They do not care about their tenants safety or property at all and only want your money. A person was assaulted in our garage and they did NOTHING to increase the safety. Every month someone's car is being broken into/damaged/or their tires are stolen from them. Management has done NOTHING to increase security. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT MOVE HERE. You will regret it.

Waiting for an elevator in the parking garage is disgusting. Be ready to come home smelling like trash and dog poop, or even better step on dog poop and bring it to your place, or be ready to bring home groceries and put them on the floor next to this. There is an ironing board that has been part of the building decor for 2 months too. This property is poorly managed and obvious negligence is seen everywhere.

It really has been great. Great Management team Melissa and Sarah.We thoroughly enjoyed there professionalism and making us feel welcome and "at home". The leasing agents, Joseph and Teresa are so kind, friendly, respectful, helpful just simply amazing! The community is quiet and calm. The outdoor amenities and landscaping are so inviting. I would highly recommend this property. Spacious, modern, and hip environment. Lots of professionals. Convenient locations to expressway and shopping/ entertainment. Safe and gated parking. Stunning pool side and gym with BBQ area.

Everything is great except there is a lady that works the front office that is extremely rude to my wife and I when we try and get a package close to the time the lobby closes. We almost didn?t renew our lease because it happens so frequently.
I have truly enjoyed being a resident here. The property is well maintained, requests for repairs are answered promptly, and the staff is very friendly!

Mostly very good. The price is somewhat high compared to other similar properties in the area, but the community is in a great location and kept mostly clean. There is definitely a problem with pests in the apartments, and the staff needs to do a better job of keeping the hallways clean.
Amazing community! Great resident events, great community and atmosphere and tons to do nearby including restaurants, bars, stores and not to mention the hike and bike trail. Love it here!

Great. Management is friendly, hospitable, and quick to service requests. Overall, the property is fairly clean throughout and the amenities are nice. Like most apartments, noise can be an issue depending on who your neighbors are. Unfortunately, that's my current situation. All in all, it's a great apartment in a great location.
Overall a great community and place to live! Tenant appreciation is a great perk, and the staff is always helpful and kind. I can see myself living here long term. Two minor things: I wish there were more extended office hours during the week for package pick up, and sometimes the halls smell like odorous like a pet had an accident that didn't get cleaned up all the way

The pictures may look awesome and location of this apartment complex is phenomenal, but there are so many other places to choose from in this area, that if I could do it all over again, I would not go with Yale at 6th. My biggest problem with living here was the poor quality of the flooring. We were on the 5th floor, so we did not have to deal with people living above us, but we did receive several complaints from our downstairs neighbors about noise. We were actually threatened with lease violations if the complaints continued. My roommate and I are both extremely petite, we always removed our shoes at the front entrance, and we never had people over. These complaints were literally cause by us simply walking barefoot around our apartment. After receiving these emails and notes from our neighbors we had to be extra careful and literally tip-toe around. This was not a comfortable way to live. I heard from other neighbors that they had similar experiences. One man even moved from the 4th to 5th floor because he said the noise from above was so bad. To continue on the poor quality floors... when we moved out, we’re were assessed almost a $500 fine for “damaged floors”. We did notice there were some imprints on the floors around where our barstools were, but even those had felt pads on the bottoms of the feet. The floors are so “soft” there is literally no way to not make a mark on these. Once again, I don’t know what we possibly could have done to cause damage beyond normal wear and tear... the apartment refused to explain or remove the charges when we asked about this. Roaches: we saw a huge one a few days after moving in and asked them to come spray. They did, but even after that we would find one running around every other week. Animals: There was always at least one piece of animal waste in the hallway on any given day. This may be more on our neighbors than management, but the hallways always smelled horrible. The elevators may not seem like a huge deal, but this complex is pretty big, and if you can’t park by and use the elevator nearest you. You’ll be walking quite a bit. The elevator by our apartment was down for nearly 6 months out of the year that I lived there, and when we asked management about it, we were given vague answers and nothing changed. All in all, there are plenty of apartments in Houston within walking distance of restaurants and bars. I would pick a different one.

Absolutely the worst management company I have ever seen at an apartment complex. They attempt to change all the things in your contract and are unresponsive to any issues. Don't be fooled by the nice property. There are much cheaper apartments with similar amentities and apartments with much better management.

Moved in on first available move in date. So far so good! Lots of light, balconies on the east side get a view of downtown, and its the perfect location. Only downsides are a lot of the amenities aren't available until later, pool in October, dog park not up yet or the pet salon. Staff are really accommodating and sweet to my dog.
