This is the worst place I have lived. I will move next year. The apartment is okay, but the community is not the best living. People play loud music any time, even late at night and in the morning and don't care about other neighbors - very disrespectful. Loud cars and motor cycles. There are big bugs like roaches here but they do have pest control service that helps some. People in the office are nice but it seem sometimes they do not know how to handle things. I would not have moved here if I knew all of this.

Worth zero star. They only concern about you, if you are new customer or staying with them. Its very old community with very basic features. Inside is very old. You will need to open many tickets related to plumbing, appliances and other maintenance issues. Insulation is very poor. During winter my apartment has mold all over the walls. They run dehumidifier for many days to take out extra moisture and humidity. Suffering does not end there. . I vacated the apartment on 6/17. I did not receive any communication of any sort of security deposit settlement from them. When I contacted after 30 days are over, I got an answer that check was mailed and It was lost. Can you buy that? Even after that, he said new check is issued and its in transit for more than 10 days and still not received it. There was no proactive communication and information from their end. Manager sounds totally helpless and blame everything on corporate which has no face and no name. I have been just asked to wait endlessly on their mercy to get by refund. Very pathetic. STAY AWAY... There are many other options in same area

Overall the experience was good but there are roaches in the halls and if you sign a lease make sure you’re not planning on breaking it because they charge you two times your rent to break. Also, they will find every reason to take your deposit so don’t have any intentions on getting it back.
Horrible neighborhood and horrible customer service. Cars broken into almost weekly, roof has been leaking for months and they refuse to do anything about it.

This place is horrible!!! The staff is rude and everything in the apartment is old and broken. I constantly have to call maintenance to fix the same problems because they never fix it properly the first time. I would not even suggest for my enemies to move here. Also make sure they don't put you facing the trees because you will never get natural light. The $50 cable fee is a rip off because you have to pay for it even if you don't want it.
This complex is incredibly deceiving. It appears to be in good condition, fair apartments for the price, decent location. As a young professional new to the city the area was convenient because it is close to grocery stores, my bank, my job, etc. The clubhouse and pool are nice enough, but I never go there. About three weeks into moving here my deadbolt of my apartment was kicked in and I was robbed. Nothing too serious was stolen however that happening gives me no peace of mind. The apartment complex fixed my lock however my door is shakey and physically bent and lets bugs in. Fast forward a month or so and my bathroom ceiling started flooding out of the blue. The maintenance here tries to get away with the bare minimum here. They physically cut holes in my ceiling to drain water and prevent mildew but only after the third time I bothered them. Additionally everything smells like curry. They cover up the smell when you visit so you don't realize its there until you move in. For the price you pay for this place it is not worth it. Spend an extra $100 a month and save your sanity somewhere else please.
I have been living here for almost 3 years now and I love it. When I need ANYTHING the office makes sure I get it right away. Friendly people all the way around. Its also a very CLEAN property as well. Your right in the middle of all the major restaurant which is a big plus. Over all I would recommend people to live here. Main thing I love prices are VERY AFFORDABLE and they are pet friendly to.
This isn't a bad apartment complex. It would be nice if the office would pick up the phone once in a while but apartments are clean, well taken care of. Don't really have much complaints. Oh yea only having one trash compactor in the whole complex will get fairly old fairly quick.
Colonial grand at legacy park is conveniently located close to wt Harris and Mallard creek road. It is close for people working in downtown and university places. It has got schools close by - ymca and mallard creek elementary schools.Shopping centers like Harris teeter are very close. Northlake mall is the closest mall for any shopping. Also concord mall is not far. In nutshell it is convenient to any shopping and groceries. This is an old apartment and if you are looking for luxury I would not suggest this. This is a great place to be in provided the convenience this location offers. There are two bus options available with local and express bus to downtown. Also the service here has been very good based on my experience so far. They address every request as soon as possible. Considering the rent being less compared to other places I guess this is really worth it. This is my review so I have shared my experience. Every individual has a different experience and expectations.
When my girlfriend and I first took a tour of the complex, we were unbelievably excited. The model is for a two-bedroom apartment, and is gorgeous. We were applying for a one-bedroom, but were told that they were more or less the same layout, minus a bedroom stuck on the side. What we didn't know (and weren't told), is that the model apartment had been completely renovated, and ours had not. This is kind of an issue, because this complex is around twenty years old. If we'd seen the apartment they'd be putting us in, which wasn't available for viewing until the actual move-in date, we probably would not have signed the lease. In regards to the leasing office and maintenance staff, they're all as nice as can be. They're quick to respond and extremely helpful. One complaint I do have, though, is the staff's high turnover rate. Everyone who works here is super great, but they never seem to work here long. As far as amenities go, they're not bad, but I don't typically use them. The "sports court" as they call it, seems like it's made for racquetball, which seems like an odd design choice. The gym is small-ish, but has decent equipment and is 24-hours. Can't go wrong there. The pool, on the other hand, is itty-bitty and always full of kids. That can be either a good or bad thing, depending on who you ask. I'll leave that up to you. All in all, it's not a terrible place to live. It's cheap, it's in a good part of town, it's close to the university, Concord Mills, and Northlake Mall, etc. I just wish they'd be upfront about whether you'll be getting an upgraded unit or not. That can either make or break your experience here, since the old apartments are desperately in need of renovation, and the upgraded units are totally awesome.
