I've referred 2 friends who have similar experiences and we all remain optimistic because of the great location and a couple of amazing people who seem to always go above and beyond to ensure we've got what we need.

Honestly don't even bother checking this place out. I was very hesitant to schedule a tour with anything MAA related since they have terrible reviews about management/maintenance across the board for all their properties. Against my judgement, I scheduled for MAA Lenox since their layouts and pictures looked really nice and modern. I showed up early and they told me to sit and wait. I was waiting for 20 minutes after my scheduled time and they toured someone that showed up after me. That's when I just up and left it's honestly not worth the time. If they can't show any timeliness or professionalism towards touring/leasing I can only imagine what living there must be like. Feel like I dodged a bullet on this one.

My wife and I were very disappointed with the condition of the apartment on move-in day. The apartment was definitely not move-in ready! The oven was filthy; the blinds were filthy and damaged; the garbage disposal was damaged; the kitchen sink sprayer was damaged; the shower handle was not attached; the washer drain hose was not placed in the drain; the dryer duct hose was not attached; the refrigerator was leaking water and is still leaking water. These were just some of the issues. As a real estate investor, I did not expect a rental unit in Buckhead to turn into a rehab project.

Leasing office is very unprofessional. My storage unit was broken into and they were aware about it for three weeks before they told me. And how I found out was a maintence guy asked me if I checked on my storage I had no clue what he was talking about. He said it was broken into three weeks ago. Gate is still broken my valuables all stolen and haven’t heard back from them

This place is a nightmare. Management is extremely unprofessional and canceled my unit with less than 24 hours before my scheduled move in. The only way I found this out is because I called them to get more info about my move in. They have given me nothing in writing explaining their decision to cancel my move in other than telling me that the current resident of the apartment I leased refuses to move out. No other alternatives for a new unit were given to me. Renters beware! Terrible experience. I wish I could give 0 stars.

Property is overpriced. there is little to no security. you'll get a boot for parking on the street in an unmarked place. guest parking is very limited, especially on weekends. dog urine in elevators daily. you hear cars racing and sirens on lenox and ga 400 all day and night.

Instead of MAA Lenox hiring security to protect their residents & their belongings, they’ve recently decided to hire a company to enforce parking restrictions which has resulted to residents getting boots on their vehicles. I have lived here for 4+ years, and recently this apartment complex has drastically declined. In recent weeks there’s been numerous car break-ins and apartment break-ins. There’s been armed robberies, car thefts, fights, and some cars have even had their tires stolen. Still there’s no security in sight. If you’re looking for a safe place to live, then you might want to look somewhere else.

I’ve lived here a year now and am decently satisfied. The place is only a few years old, and holding up pretty well. I have only had one maintenance issue (an emergency issue), and it was fixed within 30 minutes. The leasing staff is unprofessional and incompetent. When applying, the guy was rude and clearly didn’t care about his job or service. Running into office staff in the halls, they act the same. Once I moved in, they screwed up my bill several times, and it was a months long process to get it fixed. Parking is $50 a month. Additional charges (pest, common area fess, sewer, water, utility admin, etc) are around $65. My electric has been around $50 in a 1 bed. People will park in your assigned spot. There have been a lot of car break in lately (only with unlocked cars, to my knowledge). I have seen the concierge let people up the elevators without calling first on multiple occasions. A big security concern. I have had someone try to open my locked door once. I don’t spend a lot of time at the pool area, but the roof has always been clean. The elevators can be ridiculously slow, but I’d say the majority of the time they’re fine. People living on higher floors than myself probably have a different opinion, and I wouldn’t argue it. Noise above is fine. I only hear the neighbor when they’re walking in heels or drop something. No other walking or background noise. The neighbors to the side are a different story. The neighbor on one side I have only heard when they throw parties, but the neighbor on the other I can hear constantly. I hear his tv and his loud, annoying laugh. The package system is awesome. The pet policy is ridiculous. Overall, I think it’s overpriced, but not worth the hassle of moving out. Every place will have pros, cons, and frustrations, and this place is decent. …Of course, take my review with a grain of salt... in college I lived somewhere for 3 years with A/C but it didn’t work the entire time I live there, a roach infestation, kitchen plumbing that got blocked and the maintenance staff didn’t fix it for a month despite me calling every day, a living room that flooded every time it rained, a leasing office who “lost” my notification to move and charged me for an extra two months for leaving without notice, and I had to go to the ER when the light in the kitchen randomly fell from the ceiling and hit me on the head… so pretty much anything is great to me…..

Lived here since the building opened and have witnessed its decline since MAA bought Post. Cars are routinely broken into in the parking garage, there has been a shooting, no efforts by management to improve security. Common areas are cleaned maybe once a week (before weekends when most units are showed it seems), litter is common, elevators constantly broken resulting in long waits for a 26 floor building. Don't come here. Management has let this building down and eroded what was once a nice community.

I'll say this first, the apartments themselves are nice, facilities are pretty clean, and the package lockers are pretty nice. Now for the real stuff: In the last 2 months, there have been at least 4 break-ins to people's apartments, and many more break-ins to people's cars. The complex sends email notices about all of these, and there have been a few news stories about it as well (as one was an NFL player). The worst part for me is that despite all of this, there have been ZERO improvements to security. No cameras have been put up anywhere, and old doors are still old doors. Really need to see some effort to secure their residents if I plan on coming back next year.

I just want to put people aware of their absurd rules and regulations pertaining to your guest(s) animal(s): "Any animal, including the animal of a guest, that visits the Apartment for any part of one (1) day shall be considered Your animal." This means that they will request to pay their their pet's fee of $1,000 ($500 non-refundable and $500 refundable) even if you do not have a pet but have a friend's pet visiting. They will send you false information of complains to enforce such fees. Not to mentioned other issues concerning mold around the windows and an ac water leak that took over 5 days to resolve with a loud machine that was required to stay on at all times; they did nothing to compensate me for those 5 days that I could not stay at my place.

I'd highly recommend this property if you enjoy your apartment getting broken into, having all of your things stolen, your car getting broken into on the reg, and the best part - a leasing office that couldn't care less! Do yourself a favor and look literally ANYWHERE ELSE. Also, building smells like pot 24/7.

I have been a resident at the Reserve for two years. When I moved in, the leasing staff was friendly and knowledgeable. However, my experience today highlights my suspicions that quality control systems have slowly disintegrated. The leasing office is supposed to open at 10 AM, so I showed up a couple of minutes after 10 to discuss renewing my lease. I sat and waited for almost an HOUR before getting up and leaving. The poor concierge attendee was on his first day and was getting ignored by the leasing staff who were locked in their offices BLASTING MUSIC and ignoring him. Multiple people came downstairs or into the office hoping to speak with the leasing staff who continued to ignore the concierge as he tried to get their attention. Also, an irate man came down from the high rise complaining how the 18th floor reeked of marijuana and how this was not the first time it has happened. I was thinking about renewing in January, but now I will be reconsidering my options.

I would not recommend Post/MAA properties to anyone. Ever since living here, the fees on top of rent have gone up every month, and there seems to be no explanation to why or any warning that they will be going up. They updated resident portal, system used to pay rent, causing me to have re-enter my banking information in February. At the end of the month, I logged on and paid rent, and they sent a confirmation email saying they have received my payment. However, I was notified seven days later there way a typo in my banking information, and now I will be paying a late fee, 10% of rent, and a non-sufficient fund fee, $30. The property manager could care less about the situation and would not connect me to anyone at MAA that I could talk to. The gym is nice, but have been missing a couple of dumbbells and management does not seem to want to replace them. Post/MAA will nickel and dime you for the entirety of your lease, I would not recommend this place to my worst enemies.

This property makes me upset not only for how horribly unsafe it is becoming more and more each week but mainly how the "other" staff is treated by leasing and the residents. The concierges are SO sweet(the two I've usually dealt with; both women). They go above and beyond every encounter I have had with them but I constantly see the leasing staff pushing extra work onto them. The leasing team is on a steady decline. I almost want to recommend making the concierges leasing agents and kicking out the majority of the people in the office already. Glad to be moving out in the coming months.

It seems like the elevators here are down (at least 1) almost the entire time I've lived here (for nearly 2 years now). The first year, I got stuck in it for 45 minutes with several other people (I was the one that called the call box for help). Today, all elevators are inoperable. I live on the 25th floor with a dog. Can you imagine the severe inconvenience of that? There was no email from management notifying anyone that the elevators were either going to be inoperable, or were inoperable and to plan ahead (especially coming home from work with groceries). When you manage a high-rise, the elevators should be one of your NUMBER ONE priorities. Very disappointed in this place. Will not renew.

I lived here and loved my experience. All of the staff was overly nice and always willing to help me if I had any questions or concerns. The community was always so clean and very presentable if I ever had guest over. I never once felt unsafe at this apartment complex and really liked that feeling being a young female. If I ever had a maintenance request their team was there to help me ASAP! I really have nothing but great things to say about my home and community at Post Alexander and would recommend it to anyone. Sad to be leaving.
For the money it's sad....staff is lazy, apartments are cheap and the building smells soo weird! Christmas lights are up year round but not even on during the holidays-lol..and people drive through the parking barrier as a matter or routine and take your space..staff then asks you to park elsewhere?? And there is a serious crime issue on site and on the street.
Totally disappointed...staff is lazy and lies to get you in. Pretty grounds but is it...homeless people live at the pool which is always gross and dirty...the noise level is literally unbelieveable for prices-you can hear neighbors conversations above, below and on sides..and if someone is on their belcony at night forget about sleeping...and once you move in they say "everyone complains about that"...say what? They claim to have security but check the crime stats through the Buckhead police force...its a crazy problem!! Both cars and apartments! This place has been totally unbelieveable in all the bad ways!!! Not worth the money!!
On the day of 7/18/15 I got a new ninja zx10r, tools were stolen out of my truck that night. One week Later my new bike was stolen. Nice looking apts. Bad crime. Unsafe area! Property has done nothing to beef up security. I was also moved to a different unit bc my previous unit was infested with ants and silver fish. I'm not happy with this community at all.
