Property Ratings at MAA Piedmont Park
If you live on a top floor,be prepared for a leaking ceiling that doesn't get repaired. Maintenance is no longer responsive. Same problem for 4 years without a fix.

This complex is normally a clean, comfortable, wonderfully located place to live, but there have been a few issues. 1) In the summer there are roaches EVERYWHERE 2) You must let your dog outside of the complex at night. If you have a pet and need to walk your dog at night bring raid and mace. It's not unusual to walk in the park and immediately be threatened/harassed. 3) Most of the neigbors are curtious, but any yelling, loud music, cars/music on 10th or in the park will most likely be heard. 4) I'm not renewing my lease due to price increases. I get that this is a place where you pay for location, but there has been no major improvements in the surrounding area or amenities since I signed my lease and an over 10% increase in rent INSANE. 5) Packages will be stolen 6) Gates will break and people off the street will walk in. One man even attacked a resident. It's not the fault of mangement they try thier best, but safety is definitely a concern. None of these issues are bad enough to break your lease, but definitely be aware of what you are getting yourself into. Especially if you have pets.

okay so I honestly never leave reviews, but after seeing the reviews at a place I’ve called home three years i wanted to share my honest opinion and why. i just resigned after many renovations to the property inside and out got completed. How ever when i moved in the inside of mine was already done and I LOVED my one bedroom apartment where i get to overlook piedmont park. Aside from loving my apt the whole staff is incredible. All very professional and also very personable with the residents. Any and every concern ive had regardless of management or maintenance ive had it handled immediately. The are always helpful and there to help you in any way. It’s been a joy living here in this area where i also feel very safe. Me and my pittie are happy and thankful we call it home!

Maxine gave great customer service throughout my whole stay here and I enjoyed working with her. This is a nice place overall fairly quiet, but you will hear all the footsteps and noise from above you.

Hello there, we appreciate you taking the time to leave us this feedback. Feel free to reach out to us if you need anything. Have a wonderful day.
I moved into MAA Piedmont Park around the end of October 2021, and it has been quite a pleasant experience. It all began with the wonderful office staff. Maxine was my original point of contact and she was very thorough and I picked up very good vibes from her emails and phone conversations. Jason stepped in on Maxine's off days and it was a delight to have him show me the property and my new place. After my communications with Maxine and Jason I felt assured that I was in good hands; and if I needed anything they would actually assist and not simply giving me lip service until they received a signed lease and my money. In addition to the office staff I have to mention the maintenance staff. On moving day there was a crazy beeping sound in the unit. At first I thought it was the smoke detector. After ruling that out as an option and being unable to detect the culprit I called maintenance. One-by-one Bryan, Sam and Steven showed up to trouble shoot. They were working together as a team to figure out what the annoying noise was. This went on for at least 20 minutes before we discovered the noise wasn't coming from inside the unit but from my stair stepper. OMG! Can you say embarrassed? They could have gotten upset for wasting their time and looked at me like I was crazy, but instead they laughed it off and all were relieved. The following day, I received a text from Bryan with pictures of a few boxes (heavy boxes) and some other items being left somewhere in the building by my movers. When I looked at the pictures I immediately knew they were mine and I started to panic. I was 45 minutes away from home and it would be several hours before I was able to return. I kindly asked if he would place my belongings inside the unit and he obliged. Whew! Saved by maintenance once again. I did have an actual maintenance emergency and within 10 minutes Sam showed up to fix the problem. Jason called to make sure it was being taken care of before Sam could finish the job. That's great service! I've also received calls and emails from Maxine and Jason just checking in to make sure all is well. My review ends here but I had to mention everything above because I believe in giving credit where credit is due. They deserve more than a five star rating and me stating "Great staff!" I wanted to share my experiences so others will know what they can expect if they're considering MAA Piedmont Park as their new residence. Kudos to Maxine, Jason, Sam, Steven and Bryan!

Saw a bunch of reviews about the leasing office being poorly run but figured i’d try and I was one of 3 people left with a locked door from an appointment that was already rescheduled for both of us. not even a letter or a call just a locked door. disappointing but not surprised from the older reviews.

I hate posting this because Post Parkside has been our home for the past three years but I would definitely not recommend this property to friends or family. The location is amazing but there are similar properties in the area that I would recommend over Post. Although we experienced multiple situations that were secondary to the location and city living (car break in, mail theft, homeless peeing/sleeping on property, etc) there were two serious situations that were caused by management neglect. First, gross negligence caused us to be without hot water and electricity for an extended period. The hot water heater, which is in a locked closed that we don’t have access to, was not maintained properly. The plumber estimated that this damage occurred over a year of neglect and could have resulted in a fatal explosion if we had not previously lost hot water. The second incident occurred when our personal firearm, which was placed in a partially secured safe in our apartment, was stolen. There were never any break-ins to our apartment, which have led us, and the detective, to assume that it must have been someone with a key to our apartment. This experience has made us feel unsafe in our own home. My husband and I are starting a family and moved into a home about three months before our lease ended. We were hoping that in light of these situations, and the fact that we were good tenants for three years, the property could be flexible with our lease termination. The property manager told us that he would check into it, which took over a month and a half, with us asking for updates regularly. I completely understand paying the termination fees but what’s upsetting is that we weren’t a priority to the property. What really stings is that the property manager told my husband that they have already leased out our apartment to another tenant so Post isn’t losing money on us leaving.

We wish you all the best in your new home and look forward to hearing from you!
I would not recommend this apartment complex. You are strictly paying for the location and nothing else. Here is brief list of facts that have formed my negative opinion regarding this complex: 1. I was a few days late on rent because I was in the hospital having surgery from a car accident. Management refused to waive the $150 late fee. 2. I renewed my lease and my automatic payments unknowingly stopped. Management refused to waive the $150 late fee. 3. I have had 3 packages stolen. I have a note on my amazon account to deliver to the office, but they don't always comply. Thus, 3 packages have been stolen outside of my door. Management refused to do anything about it. There are no security cameras. Further, the office is only open during work hours and usually only one person is in the office, so if they're showing apartments the office is locked. 4. I had a running toilet for a couple days and was charged nearly $200. 5. Maintenance has failed to show up for appointments on numerous occasions (I have to make appts because I have dogs). They usually come after I call and remind them of the appointment, an hour late. 6. We pay monthly pest fees but I see cockroaches on the first floor nearly everyday, and have had them in my apartment. 7. I have only gotten a parking spot on the floor I live on a handful of times. 8. The walls are thin. I can hear the tenant above me walking every day and the neighboring tenant's television. 9. If you have a pet, you are required to take it off premises to use the restroom. I have been harassed at the park on multiple occasions, not to mention its extremely dangerous at night. This location is prime if you wan't to be near the park or surrounding bars/restaurants. However, I don't get the impression management cares about its tenants. They nickel and dime you and don't provide anything in return. I have never experienced such lack of care for tenants at an apartment complex and remain completely appalled at the insincerity demonstrated here.

My girlfriend and I have been here almost 6 months and so far have had a great time here. Management has always been responsive, helpful, and extremely friendly and their contact with the residents as a group has been excellent. Scott, the manager, was the one to show us our unit and handle many of our issues and his fantastic to deal with. Residents are always updated on ongoing projects, improvements, local events that impact us, issues, etc. Management pays good attention to security, due to the busy neighborhood, and as a result security contractors can be frequently seen making rounds of the garage and monitoring the entrances. I believe cameras are to be installed soon, as well. The neighborhood is absolutely more than safe to live in and walk around assuming you use good sense as someone would in any major city. The quality of the build-out of the unit is good, with a few small issues in how the baseboard was put on, appliances installed, etc. None of these issues have been severe, and the on-site maintenance crew has always responded quickly and done good work. The common spaces of the building are kept clean and in good working order. We quite enjoy our unit and the building. It's unique in its style, has gorgeous green spaces, and doesn't feel too stuffy or cut from the same boring cloth such as many other buildings in the area (we saw 6 others when looking). The location is terrific. Park access couldn't be easier, and pretty much everything you need (groceries, hardware store, pharmacy, etc.) or want (food, events, etc.) is walk-able. If you don't mind long walks or biking there is even more to do -- the beltline is half a mile away and the local streets are easy to ride on.

Thank you so much for sharing such wonderful five-star encouragement.
Beautiful apartment. Exceptional, concierge-type property management and service.
I thoroughly am enjoying my time residing at Post Parkside. The office staff and maintenance crew are very professional and have been very helpful for my entire stay, they are very responsive and does quality work.
I moved from NYC this past Spring and honestly, I can't see myself living anywhere else right now. I saw 9 (no joke) different apartments complexes and immediately felt this place was the one. The building has a cool industrial vibe to it and many of the apartments here are very unique. Most of the other complexes in ATL seem cookie cutter to me with no personality. Only downside here is that there is no pool which is not a huge deal for me personally and the gym is small but has what you need. Ashley in leasing and Scott the property manager are amazing. They were both very patient with me, answered all my questions, and are very customer service oriented. When I first moved in I had a issue with the toilet and Scott helped me resolve the issue quickly. The staff here is very responsive when you have an issue. Even now whenever I see them they ask how I am liking my apartment. I predominately work remotely when I don't travel for work and I never have an issue with noisy neighbors or anything. Walls seem pretty thick. This place is in the best area of midtown in my opinion. It is close to bars, restaurants, and right around the corner from Piedmont Park. If you want to be in the center of midtown in a great apartment definitely check out Post Parkside ATL.

Wow, thanks so much for your fantastic review! Our staff works hard to deliver superior quality and value to our residents every day, and we're particularly proud of all of Ashley and Scott's hard work in making you so comfortable and happy here! Your appreciation of our attractive architecture, superior service, and easy accessibility means the world to us.
After viewing many apartments in the Atlanta area before Post Parkside, my fiance and I were extremely underwhelmed. We took a chance and toured Post Parkside and immediately fell in love. We are signing our lease very soon and could not be more excited. Post Parkside has no hidden fees, an amazing location, and various beautiful apartments. However, what separated Post Parkside from the other places we toured was the customer service. Scott was absolutely incredible to work with. He was patient, explained everything in detail, and seemed genuinely eager to help us find our new place to live. The type of customer service Scott provided is what helps separate the best companies from the good companies. Scott treated us above and beyond and helped make Post Parkside the easy choice.

We're so humbled by your glowing review of Post Parkside Atlanta! With so many living communities to choose from in the area, our stellar team members know that we have to go above and beyond to ensure our residents have an outstanding place to call home, and they're happy to do so. We're so glad to know that all our hard work is paying off! It's an honor and a privilege to offer you the excellence you expect and deserve. Thank you so much for sharing your encouragement!
After spending over a year back-and-forth between Midtown Atlanta & NYC, and casually keeping an eye on longer-term apartments in Atlanta (I was spending my time in Atlanta in hotels), I finally decided to settle down more formally and get a place in Atlanta. Part of my decision came from finally finding the perfect complex when I found Post Parkside. Part of why Post Parkside was so immediately attractive was the location. It's a close walk to my office (in the PWC building on Peachtree), as well as directly in the middle of Midtown's bustling scene -- with bars, restaurants all around, and the wonderfully pedestrian Piedmont Park literally adjacent to the complex, like a backyard (you don't even need to cross a street to get into the park!). While there are many other reasons Post Parkside was the perfect spot for me (across the street from a convenience store, no 15 minute waits for elevators like all the high-rises in the area, polished concrete floors & exposed brick, etc), I think I was most impressed by the staff. The building manager, and everyone else I've interacted with at the complex, is incredibly warm and inviting. They have gone out of their way to help me with everything from my move-in scheduling issues, to helping me get packages into my apartment when I'm out of town. All in all, come see some of these unique rentals, and meet the incredibly kind & helpful staff. I'm sure you'll want to stick around yourself--

Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We are so glad to have you as a resident at Post Parkside Atlanta. Please reach out to us in the leasing office at any time with your suggestions and feedback. Thank you for being a loyal resident!
I moved into Parkside in May and could not be happier. The staff in the office responded to my two minor issues at move-in immediately and maintenance is always quick to address problems. I had a light bulb out one morning and came home (two hours later) to the light bulb already being replaced. The locations is amazing- I run in the park almost every morning and really enjoy the controlled access gates at Parskide for security. I would recommend this property to anyone!
