When I first moved in 3 months ago I requested for them to take care of the rust on the washer and on the shower curtain, which they did. But since then there have been nothing but issue after issue from, the bugs in my apartment, to the electricity always going out, which there was an email from MAA that they found the guy who always turned off the electricity. And just last week, the knob on my washing machine broke and all of a sudden my apartment flooded! And with all that, I deal with the on going constant smell of marijuana, Paint And gasoline!! Which gives me a headache!! The water pressure is weak and doesn’t get that hot. I don't recommend this place to live here at all! So far in the first three months of living here, It has not been a good experience at all whatsoever!

Wouldn't recommend typical apartment living ! Thin walls and neighbors do whatever they want ! Currently as I write this the people below me are yelling and screaming having a party , when you call the number to report nothing happens. On top of that the residents run the complex ! The pool is a free for all , they tell you it's convenient to the school across the street but trust me you can't go outside from 830-9 because people fly up and down the streets to get there kids to school on time. They say no bbq grills in your apartment but luckily for me the people under me have a full blown catering company and grill INSIDE there garage with propane tanks everywhere! No smoking well hate to break it to you everyone smoke all over the place here !! Don't go outside past 9 pm all you will smell is weed !! Definitely not worth the money esp. the high increase when your renewal is up !

Since I moved into this apartment I have suffered from an unbearable smell of marijuana. I spend the day with a headache because of the smell. We have complained several times and no one takes action. I came to live here because I found the environment peaceful and some friends recommended it to me, so I was quite disappointed because no one from the administration resolved my case. details: I have a 4 month old baby at home. Let it be clear that I have nothing against anyone who smokes marijuana or anything, but me and my family deserve respect.

The complex is beautiful and they have great amenities. However, the quality of the apartment is sub par and isn’t worth the value. The model gives an unrealistic expectation of what you’ll be getting. The apartment was not cleaned before moving in. The counters were filthy, a toilet hadn’t been scrubbed and was gross and discolored, the carpet hadn’t been vacuumed or shampooed, the bathroom walls had splatter marks (like someone dropped a bottle of shampoo that exploded), and when the window seals were repainted they painted over a strand of hair. Disgusting. The kitchen counters (some sort of plastic laminate) are peeling and the finishing isn’t complete. The leasing agent seemed annoyed to be showing us around during our tour and was less than enthusiastic during move in. He said the reason the apartment wasn’t clean was because they avoid weekend move-ins, when in reality our least was supposed to start the previous Wednesday. He didn’t inform us we needed parking passes and told us the wrong mailbox. We were very excited when we selected this apartment and are very bummed with the experience we’ve had so far.

Stayed in this complex for 20 months and in that time I had numerous issues. AC went out each of the 20 months, and rather than replace the faulty unit allowed it to continue for the duration of my rental. At multiple points during my rental, had ants, roaches and spiders throughout my apartment and in my bedroom AND in my actual bed. Also had ants burrowing through the walls of my apartment and coming out of the baseboards. When I asked for a more thorough pest control inspection, they simply sent someone to spray which did not resolve the issue. Finally, be extremely careful when moving out of your apartment as maintenance will throw away anything that is found within, which was not disclosed to me prior to moveout, even if you are not finished moving out, and will not compensate you for the items lost or tell you at least when or where they were disposed of so they can possibly be retrieved. In my case, roughly $500 of AT&T equipment along with an additional $400 household furniture/decor was thrown away by maintenance, and when I tried to retrieve it the same day I received absolutely no help from apartment staff or maintenance and was charged by AT&T and not compensated for destroyed property either. Absolutely ridiculous!!!! I do not recommend staying at this property.

This is the place for you if you: - want to get your car towed by security for no reason - want to have your account sent to collections “by accident” and then receive a letter from management saying it was an accident - if you want to be harassed and video taped in the gym while trying to work out - don’t mind not getting your calls/emails returned from management AND corporate - no one speaks English - facilities are always locked because there are restrictive hours, or just their technology fails to work to open the door -kids hanging out and playing video games on gym equipment- totally legal right ? -no adult supervision -if you want your bikes stolen -management seems to be okay with people smoking cigarettes inside of their apartment and then dumping said cigarette butts on your front door step as they throw them out the window - forced to pay an extra $110 a month for cable and internet But. Yes apartments are beautiful . MANAGEMENT IS THE WORST I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH IN MY LIFE- NOT WORTH IT- go to the apartment down the street it’s cheaper and they actually have good reviews

For the most part very quiet. I have enjoyed my time here so far.
Two short words, Love It! I moved here from out of state and have now been here almost two years. The community is very well maintained and the management has always been very responsive to my needs. Very pet friendly and a very nice group of neighbors makes it home for me.
It's very good but I feel that rules could be enforced more, eg pool rules (too many late night parties, cleaning after one's dog (the grass around the lake areas are filled w dog poop daily), access into the Pointe (phase 2) is limited & inconsistent - main access door never works w access fob.

Bait and switch. When trying to negotiate rent I was declined. The manager stated the rent I have been paying was just to get me here. Now I have a $90 increase. Also just a FYI cable is forced all $110 of it. Yes you read that right, $110. There is no way to opt out. Even their sister properties have only $50. So ontop of your expensive apartment you have to pay $110 a month ($1,320 yr). There are so many apartments available not because they are new, but because tenants are not renewing. Listen to the reviews and look else where. -RD

This apartment complex has changed drastically since we started living here 2 years ago. There is a major bug problem that the office staff does not seem to care about... pest control is added to monthly rent, but does not help. I have talked to the front office many times about why this is still a problem and they just redirect my questions and promise a manager will call me about it. That never happens no matter how much I call them or go into talk. Very frustrating. Parking is a nightmare. If you plan on getting home from work after 7pm, plan on having to park a half mile away. I get out of work sometimes at 10pm and get home to find no parking. This is very concerning to me because there are also reports of apartment robberies and cars being broken into here. Trash dumps are always broken so residents then pile up their trash in the recycling bin or decide to leave their trash on the side of the road. It does not get cleaned up in a timely manner so this just causes more and more trash to pile up. This has gotten significantly worse since they opened up phase 2 and did not add any trash dumps on that side of the property. Another major problem we have is packages getting stolen. So far, we have gotten over 4 items stolen off of our door step equaling $1,000 . When we go to the front office they do not try to help, but they act rude and tell us to get our packages sent to the front office. This would be helpful if the office hours were more convenient. Working 9-5 weekly does not allow me to get to the office easily since their hours are about the same. They are also only open for 4 hours on Saturday and not open on Sunday. When I am able to make it into the office, it is packed with residents waiting to be helped and the staff are very rude. If you try to call the office they will not answer. I have tried to get into contact with the property managers, MAA, but they also never answer phone calls. If you are looking for an apartment, keep searching because you will have the same bad experiences as us. The property manager and office staff do not care enough to do anything about the problems. We will be moving out as soon as possible.

When you decide to leave the apartment to a different place, they drop the hammer on you with the typical nickel-and-dime scheme against residents that have chosen to leave, forget about your deposit at all and be ready... The most extreme example are the cleaning fees even if your apartment is in good or excellent condition. For what you pay there, keep in mind that this property is not a gated community and any one can enter at any time, also no valet trash removal. Far away from everything. Landlord increases the rent every year. Bye Colonial Grand!!!

I've lived here 4 months the complex its self is nice besides the dog poop everywhere its the management that is just so rude. They are impossible to get in touch with and could care less about their residents. I should have realized when my moving day came and nobody had anything ready or even knew anything about it... the apartment wasn't even cleaned. Wish I had read the reviews about this place first.

The good: The name "apartment home" suits the area.... It seems more like a resort, than just an apartment. The Antigua Model Apt. is very put together. The none master almost has its own private bathroom, and both have very spacious closet. The pool area will take you away from home to a nice vacation spot.... The not so good: Parking in some of the buildings are limited, specially if coming home after 5PM.... The pro: A long walk with grocery shopping may substitute for a small work-out.
If you are looking for apartments. keep looking. Even though it's a new build it's very poorly done. The walls are so paper thin that if i don't have the TV on loudly I can hear every word of the conversations the neighbors have (to the sides and upstairs) and the neighbors upstairs constantly wake me up with their noise at all hours of the way and night. Also we have had light fixtures and cabinets come apart as well as electrical issues that constantly cause light bulbs to blow. Also, since we are on the first floor we had a HORRIBLE issue with centipedes ( or something like them) that took them MONTHS to fix. One night I swept up over 40 when I got home from work. If you need to talk to someone, you can almost never get a hold of them by phone either. Once you do they are always nice but it's just not worth the money you pay here to dead with things like this. Thankfully my lease is finally up and I CANNOT wait to leave!
This is a beautiful complex but the management staff and the rent rate it poor and too high. They are not accommodating to the residents.
Great apartment complex, located minutes away from theme parks, Orlando International Airport, international drive attractions, great schools, close to one of the best hospital for children in the nation, minutes away from UCF, medical research facilities, Valencia College, restaurants. An overall fine living experience for families. Best place to live
In the up and coming awesome Lake Nona Area I found a brand new, very spacious, beautiful 1 bedroom apartment. The layout and square footage is perfect.Beautiful Resort Style Pool, Full fitness center. Very pleasant and helpful leasing staff. I did alot of comparison shopping with all the new complexes in the area and Colonial Grand at Randal Lakes came up on top. I am happy and feel great and comfortable to call this "home". I highly recommend it.

New apartment complex in the Lake Nona area. Great location right off the 417 at Dowden Rd. Great floor plans, some with attached garages. Great amenities include beautiful resort like pool area, and fenced in dog park. Pet friendly, very helpful lending staff and maintenance staff.
