Apartments are old and full of dips in the floor and mold in the window seals. Very noisy and loud neighbors above you won’t be addressed. Dog poop everywhere and there is nowhere to park. Take your chances and move to newer apts because MAA apartments are as much as newer ones if not more! Property mgr Tiffany will not address any issues whatsoever! She leaves the issues with the staff. Money is paid for the grounds but not their old apts. Break-ins of your car and opened gates on a regular!

I give it 2stars because Mrs. Belinda has consistently been kind to me, and Mr. Joe from maintenance , has always been very helpful and gets the job done. I was so happy to move here because it appeared to be so well kept. Now, I am embarrassed to have company. The grounds are not well kept and some of the new maintenance crew are just seen hanging out. Instead of trash being removed and cleaned like Mr Joe and his original crew, it’s now tossed out the way. Dog poop patties left and cigarette butts. People smoking in the breezeway and I have kids that have to walk through this. I am looking forward to being able to move after my lease is up.

I was moving to Kennesaw and booked online, the agent would not respond to the emails I went to collect the keys and there was no walk through given for the apartment and also it was dirty and had emailed the office but no respond on anything at all had to cancel the lease and they charged me 7K to break the lease, given the time of covid hygiene and cleanlinessis important, the office manager told me they are not aware about the problem i had emailed, very unprofessional.

Coming from student housing colonial grande is 110 percent better than i could have imagined. There?s always parking, the neighbors are never disruptive, and there?s plenty of amenities. The only thing that could be better is the gym.

The property's common areas are well maintained; the maintenance staff is responsive and they do a great job; the office staff is cordial and helpful. The complex is divided into two areas and I am in the smaller area. It is basically pretty quiet no real noise issues. Dogs are allowed and that sometimes presents a problem with folks not cleaning up after their animal. To the complex's credit, there are pooper scooper bags readily available. The pools, tennis courts and work out room are all well maintained. I don't like the fact that the rent increases every year with no upgrading to the apartment...

Experience so far has been positive. I've had issues with loud neighbors and neighbors leaving trash in the corridor. I've also had issues with insects. The apartment staff is helpful and attentive and the maintenance staff is quick to respond to service requests.

I VERY MUCH ENJOY MY APARTMENT AND LOVE LIVING THERE AND EVERYTHING THEY HAVE TO OFFER! MY ONLY COMPLAINTS WOULD BE THAT THERE ARE MULTIPLE CARS THAT ALWAYS PARK ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD WHERE THE FIRE LANE IS, AND RIGHT NEXT TO THEM ARE OPEN PARKING SPACES. ALSO THE GYM AREA AND BATHROOMS CLOSE TO THEM NEED TO BE CLEAN AND MAINTAINED A LITTLE MORE.

I’ve lived in this community for a little less than a year and my first moving experience with this complex has been great. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. For the most part it’s quiet and low key. The apartments are pet friendly and the location is great (right off 75). All of your bills can be paid through the portal which is super convenient and your utilities, cable etc. are bundled with your rent which helps me avoid having to keep track of multiple bills. The leasing office staff is helpful and friendly. If you’re looking to move in the Kennesaw area, this is definitely a great choice. Ask for Nicole she is amazing and incredibly helpful. I’m definitely satisfied with my experience.

Tap water was truly horrendous. Fleas and cockroaches a big problem. Security is pretty good for first few months...but they could be much better about leasing. Parties and parking lot gatherings on weekends. Pool looked dirty often. We stopped swimming in it. Too many non residents at pool. Gates always broken. Landscaping very nice. Back end of community was scary. Clubhouse and community room very nice, but limited hours and not available after 5 or 6pm. You can hear every footstep on the ceiling from people living above. Would not recommend.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! STAY AWAY. They increase rent each year. Not by $50 but by 150-200 dollars. There is never any parking and the leasing staff is rude. Do bother calling corporate they don't care!!!!

I find these good reviews very funny considering that everyone I talk to has the exact opposite to say. The staff is rude and incompetent but most importantly they are extremely unhelpful. My apartment flooded multiple times and not once did they offer to do anything for me. They never even finished doing the carpet after they took out the padding underneath the carpet. The best part, they charged ME for the damages. Belinda is the worst one there, if you have any issues save your time and talk to anyone else. Do yourself a favor and go live anywhere else in Kennesaw. You WILL regret living here. The good reviews left on this website are obviously done by the employees because anyone else you meet will not agree with those statements.

Beautiful community! Nice size apartments with reasonable monthly rent... Now let's get to how your daily living could be effected. When we summer turns into Fall and the temperatures drops outside, your apartment windows will start to gather moisture and if you don't have time or don't think to or want to clean each window seal then it will turn to MOLD! .. AND if you are someone who have or wants to have any type of life after 7 pm then when you return you will have to park a block away from your front door or park along the carb and HOPE someone doesn't hit your car! LAST most important complaint is, it doest matter what you are dealing with you MUST & WILL be forced to stay committed to you contract until the end of your term... Don't trust these fools...
Overall, I love my apartment complex. There are just a few things that I don't really approve of. The maintenance is terrible. There have been times where they knock at my door and before I can get to it I see them walking away. There are things in my apartment that haven't been fixed that I told them about the day I moved in.... 6 months ago. It's mostly college kids, so the front gates are broken a lot, but I know the apartment complex can't help that. Colonial Grand is a good complex overall, everybody is very friendly. I just wish they would tighten up on a few things.

There are quite a few things that could be better. The gate malfunctions about once a month and more often than not it takes over six weeks to repair. Parking is lousy. The parking lots are always littered with trash, glass beer bottles, soda cans and very few people clean up after there dogs. Navigating the parking lot is irritating, most people don't pay attention and speed. Management is ok. They are not overly cheerful. Maintenance gets around to things when they feel like it. My ice maker was broken for seven months. The property manager finally just replaced the fridge after I threatened to go to their regional manager. I called, put in a web work order and spoke with the office agents a dozen times during those seven months. The office does not accept or process payments in house. Everything is done online. Two months ago the system was updated and now you can only pay exactly was is due the day it is due, which is the first. All because of their financial reporting period. I am unable to go online and pay ahead two days before because the system is locked. I can't even schedule the payment. They have done a few things to update the property, but it doesn't balance the 18% increase in my rent. I wouldn't really recommend renting unless you are just looking for a place where no one will really bother you and you don't expect much from management.
Aesthetically pleasing exterior and interior of individual apartment. Open bright floor plan. Large walk in closets for master and spare bedrooms. I was pleased with the comfort and security of living in this apartment community.
After graduating college, finding the right "big girl" apartment was crucial; but finding one that fit my preferred criteria proved to be difficult. I researched for days before I came across Colonial Grand. The complex itself is gorgeous, well-maintained and fairly quiet, considering how many college students are residents here. It's a pet-friendly community - a huge plus - and even welcomes German shepherds, which most apartment communities don't. There are two pools, two tennis courts, a 24-hour clubhouse, and various indoor and outdoor community spaces available for resident use. In terms of location, it's close to just about everything Kennesaw has to offer as a city, but just out of the way enough that you have a little peace. It's also right down the road from I-75, which makes getting to work simple (traffic aside). My apartment is spacious, well laid-out, and was clean when I moved in. The water, air, and other utilities were already running. Cable from Comcast is automatically included in your utilities (perhaps the one downside, if you're like me and hardly ever watch TV), and you have to purchase your internet separately, also from Comcast. One bonus, though, is that utilities here are packaged into one fee, which you pay along with the rent, and Colonial Grand distributes them to the different companies, saving its residents the hassle of multiple bills and such. The leasing process was fairly smooth. I was walked through everything and had all of my questions answered respectfully. The staff here is wonderful; everyone I've met has been kind and accommodating and is willing to help however they can. That was an important factor in making my decision. No apartment complex is perfect, but I'm glad to have chosen Colonial Grand for my first post-grad apartment. I'm sure I'll have many fond memories here.
I have lived here for 2 years. These appartments are little more expensive than they should be and they raise your rent every year. I do like living here the pool is very nice. The gate never works so it's always open. It is very close to kennesaw state university so it does have some collage students. There really isn't any thing special about these apartments except good location.
Over my many years as a renter I've experienced the best and worst that apartments have to offer. There have been many apartments (that shall not be named) that are simply not up to par. My experience at Colonial Grand at Shiloh in Kennesaw, GA has been nothing but pleasurable. Upon entering the facility you are elated at the simply upkeep. The management and grounds keepers do an amazing job at maintaining the image I feel in love with. If any conflicts arise, and I don't have many, the customer service of the leasing office is amazing. Anything I've ever needed in terms of maintenance gets tagging care of in 24-48 hours. I have been very satisfied with my experience here and I am looking forward to another great year!!!
Great location. The floor plan is open and bright. New appliances washer and dryer. Two pools. buildings are newly painted with rich colors. great landscaping.
I have successfully tried moving out of this apartment complex 3 times, just looking for new scenery, and have always found my way back home. This is one of the best you will find in the Kennesaw area. The apartments have nice details on the inside. It is under new management and they are updating the grounds nicely on the outside. I would say that it is a good place to live and would recommend to a friend.
Colonial Grand at Shiloh, has beautiful landscaping and it's a good neighborhood with stores near by. I just wish staff was a little more friendly when it comes to things that need to be done. As far as routine things that you may need for your apartment. They are slow reacting. It'll be four yrs in December since I moved here and it's time for me to explore a new horizon!!
I've been living in Colonial Grand at Shiloh apartments almost 4 yrs now in December. It's a beautiful landscaped 400 unit apartment complex. I'm sure anyone would be at ease living here. It has lots of hills for you to get a nice good workout if you don't necessarily want to rub shoulders with anyone at the gym. Most stores are walking distance and easy to locate for your convenience. Safe neighborhood and all around friendly. It is pet friendly as well. The office staff could use a dose of friendliness though, other than that not many complaints!
