I have been at the Reserve since November, 2014 and have been very happy here. The management has always been very responsive and helpful. The current manager, Tonya, goes out of her way to help and accommodate any concerns. The area is quiet and friendly. When a maintenance issue arises it is handled immediately. 5 Star rating for the Reserve.

Management did not listen to me on several concerns I had during my two year stay and transfer to another property. Early on, I had issues with an air conditioner and management refused to investigate my complaints for approximately 5 months. Upon move out, I was excessively charged for carpet replacement for the entire apartment even though there was limited damage near a door that may have been damage that was out of my control. When I complained about these issues, I found management to be argumentative. The neighbors were decent, respectful people for the most part and the community is quiet overall, but my bad experiences with office staff makes me hesitate to recommend this property to others.

First off let me say this property is quiet and conveniently located off the beltway and highway 249. Neighbors are usually friendly, and everyone keeps to themselves. I like the connivence of MAA connect, which is the cable/ internet bundle that is an additional fee along with your rent. Maintenance works fast and efficiently once your request is received. Although the apartment is spacious (1 bd room) the appliances are outdated (white and small). Be sure you know exactly what your apartment looks like before signing your lease because there is a chance that the model they show you will be completely different than what you get. The walls are quite thin, as I reside on the 3 floor and can hear my downstairs neighbors at times. I also recommend purchasing reserved parking because depending on your building, parking can be limited. Another advisory is that if they move you in the back of the complex, there is a large body of land owned by Harris County that people cross/jump the gate to walk their dogs and do other things which can be alarming and pose as a safety concern to some. There is what they consider to be a "dog park" which consist of grass and a few benches; nothing fancy. Overall, I give the property 3 out of 5 stars.

The experience overall has been positive despite a couple of lousy management rotations that occurred previously. I really appreciate the efforts to improve the property inside and out, however my only critiques are regarding refurbishing units for long time residents and most recently the visitor parking situation. It appears that ALL of the designated visitor parking are ALWAYS unavailable and this is unacceptable for actual visitors who require a space and have to park ridiculously far away or fear their vehicle will be towed. Otherwise, nearly everything else has been great!
So far, we've been happy with our decision to live here. Maintenance is responsive and the property feels safe. Parking can be difficult, and the dumpster stays full; however, we would recommend for the price.
conveniently placed with close access to 290 and beltway8, peaceful neighbourhood. Couple of drawbacks: extra cable charges even though now a days rarely someone uses it, no play area for kids.
It's a quiet property. Properly maintained with friendly staff. I have lived here for three years and have not had any issues even with the manager changes.

I have resided at The Reserve at Woodwind Lakes since 2008. All I can say is that I have enjoyed my time here. It is quite an well kept with the exception the last few months some residents do not utilize the trash beans as designed. Office has addressed this issue but some people don't seem to understand. The property is well kept with few issues in the unit. The people keep to themselves and it?s easy to forget who your neighbors are.
I have resided at the complex for 10 years an I nothing to say but GOOD JOB to you and your staff.
Im happy with just about everything here. The only thing im not satisfied with is the bypass doors in my daughters closet. They keep falling off and when sending a maintenance guy out, all they do is hang it back up. The issue is never resolved because they need to replace the door bypass hardware. Doesnt seem like they want to spend the money for it. My doughter is 4 and have to be alert because she cannot handle weight of the door.
Perfect place to live with the family
The property team works hard to keep the complex clean and bright. There are nice paths and lots of places to walk my large dog.
It is quiet and well kept. The gate always being broken is a pain but other than that I have not had any problems living here.
The property is very clean and safe. I have enjoyed coming home for the past two years.

I had left a review when I was living here for three months. I had nothing to complain about and everything seemed great. Now after 3 years of living here things have changed. At least it seems to me that if you are not a perfect resident, management doesn't care about you. I have been living at these apartments for 3 years now. I have never had a problem until I forgot to pay my rent. A day late and a letter is delivered at my door 5 minutes before the office closes. The letter said that I had 3 days to move out if I don't pay my rent! Immediately I went to the online portal to pay my rent, but it has been disabled. I am not able to pay my rent online. I call them as soon as I realize this, but of course no one answers and with no ability for me to leave a voicemail. The only thing I can do is send an email and wait til the next morning. I get a hold of someone the next morning and all they can tell me is that it is policy. I now have to get certified funds to pay rent, even though my payments have never bounced in the 3 years I have lived here. As soon as you make a mistake their policy is to treat you like a criminal, trying to scare you with eviction when only a day late! A week earlier I had let them know I would not be renewing my lease. I am so glad to be getting out of there. They have no loyalty or respect for their residents who have been there a week or 14 years. They also have a continuous issue with water smelling like sulfur and have no problem raising rent by 8% with no explanation or reason.

These apartments on the outside seems lovely although the customer service the main office provides is absolutely terrible! In the 2 years I've lived here my car has been towed 3 times for being parked in the reserve parking (which I pay for!) and when I went to the office to ask for information I was threaten by office employees. After all the money I've put into for the reserved parking and the high rent and the office still tows my car.
