Property Ratings at Madden's Pointe
My husband and I have lived here since February 2020. Right before we were scheduled to move in, it was difficult to get ahold of the property manager at the time, with it taking days for her to get back to us. Management was undergoing a change (which I hear has happened often), so I attributed it to that. Management hasn't changed since we've been here, though. Since moving in in Feb 2020, our neighbor has caused us nothing but trouble (walls are thin & we share a bedroom wall). We've constantly woken up between the hours of 3:00 - 6:00 AM due to her getting home at that time and having loud conversations/ doing other unpleasant activities upon coming home. I initially sent an email to the manager and we were told she'd ask them to keep it down. We've reported the problem various times over the past year and a half, and absolutely nothing has changed. Needless to say it's been a hassle & I often have to get up in the middle of the night and move to my spare bedroom to sleep. Additionally, the trash disposal is always breaking here. There are also many kids playing and running throughout the property which can be a little noisy. Mass texts have been sent to residents about the issue of children running around the property, and that hasn't subsided either. Overall, there are little to no repercussions for violating the rules or causing problems for others. However, there are some positives. The space you get inside the apartments for the price you pay is nice, even for 2 bed 2 bath apartments. The apartments have really high ceilings, which makes the whole space look bigger. And the location is super convenient, with there being a Walmart, Aldi, Giant Eagle, and a gas station right beside you. It's on Bethel road which has anything you could ever want (pharmacies, doctors' offices, parks, we even live right next to a movie theater). So it is convenient location wise, but the management isn't great.
For the space you get rent is great price and the staff in office is always wonderful. Lots of kids and dogs but everyone is friendly.
Near a lot of stores, restaurants, etc. More for a family because of the families that are already here. Kids play a lot in the parking lot which can get loud. Can be difficult to get in and out of the complex because of traffic. The walls are pretty thin. Kind of pricey for the size.
