Property Ratings at Madison at River's Edge
I've lived here for almost two years now. The manager and assistant manager are awesome! I love going down by the river and enjoy watching the ducks and sitting on the rocks. It's so peaceful. I enjoy going to the fitness room and getting some exercise. The pool is refreshing during the summer. Every month, the property hosts free events with something new and every month. If your looking for a beautiful place to live with a great view of the river, this place is for you.
Random fees all the time. They say they will take it off, don't, and then allocate your rent to those fees and say you didn't pay for water or garbage. When you try to contact them to fix it you get no response. Voicemail is constantly full, too, so good luck with that. No one answers the phones because no one wants to work here. We have a new office manager every year and have been bought twice in the three years I lived here. Our last Manager openly complained about how awful our management is because she was constantly by herself w/ other properties to manage. The pool has been opened once in the 3 years I have been here and it only lasted a week. Not even because of Covid, it is just disgusting and they literally sent an email out saying it was to expensive to keep clean. The "Fitness Room" has never been opened. The hardware is put in very shottily. Out dishwasher leaks and was only connected to the counter by a nail on a thin piece of wood that wasn't even meant to be there so it constantly falls forward. Don't waste your time.
Management used to be great the new management not so much. We had a bill for damages and they sent our bill to collections instead of sending directly to us. We even called and asked the front office manager to send me a copy of the bill via email address and she still didn't. We paid our balance with the collections agency but it was very poor communication on their part. Do not waste your time with this place unless you want to keep asking them to fix things and never showing up or end up with a bill in collections
This is the first apartment I’ve ever lived in and I am so happy I made the decision to move here! Apartment layout itself is really nice and so spacious. Ceilings are high and everything is upgraded. I’m very pleased! The complex itself is very quiet during the day and at night. It’s nice being tucked away in a neighborhood on the river but also not too far away from stores and other various places. The people who live there are very kind. Grounds are kept very clean and the valet garbage is great! Brandy, apartment manager, is so kind and so helpful. She made moving in a really smooth and exciting process. I highly recommend moving here if you’re thinking about it and want somewhere peaceful, nice and reasonably priced to live. Definitely feels like home.
Moved in in early March 2019. The manager Lourdes mad moving easy, she helped me get an apartment within my budget. I love the community, it’s quiet and clean. The river is walking distance, there’s a park 2min away. Parking is no issue. You see people walking there dogs, too. Couldn’t have made a better choice.
I’ve lived here for 2 years now. Its hands down one of the best apartment homes that I have lived in. Excellent location near the green river,a picturesque bridge and park within a minute and at the walking distance. Apartments look modern, cozy and spacious. I found parking amazing, wide parking spots (even for my 2 door car) and never have to worry about getting dinged by another car. Lourdes the apartment manager is extremely friendly and helpful. She has been wonderful to me all throughout. Any maintenance requests (not that many to begin with) have been addressed very promptly. Great maintenance staff. Our maintenance guy deserves a special thanks for being extraordinarily helpful. Overall a great management team and highly professional staff. I’d highly recommend. One of the best in the area.
Lourdes the manager has made the move in experience so easy & helpful for me & my boyfriend. We move in on March,15th and we are so excited to make this place our home! It feels like a huge weight has been lifted off our shoulder knowing we’re moving somewhere that is so well taken care of by the staff!
We just moved in 01/2019 and it was everything I hoped it would be. Very quiet and well maintained. The Manager is really nice and helpful. I love that this complex understands family and holds festive activities for the young ones. Our apartment is beautiful and has many new appliances. The yard is always being cleaned and they even help take your trash to the dumpster! The price is worth it!!
Me and my husband decided to go apartment shopping and stumbled upon these apartments, what we were really interested is how safe it is , price range & what’s the transportation / commute look like. First off my impression when we entered the complex was very good, it was clean, look like maintence is taking care of the parking lot, building & overall property. So we took a tour with the property management her name was Lourdes. Let me tell you she was a god sent, she treated us like we were family , no pressure at all for us to apply and take the apartment right away. She asked us our wants and needs , stayed within our budget and gave us a speedy and great tour of the one bedroom apartment space we wanted. Inside the apartments it’s so clean , mostly all carpet , comes with a washer / dryer that’s in the closet , & a spacious living room. Beautiful cute open kitchen & a cute shower too. Our room also comes with a patio outside. Our car ports are very close to where our apartments are at , so you don’t have to worry walking too far from where you park and watching where your car is parked. The area seems very safe and hidden away. It’s a very quiet & hidden apartment complex, very safe & easy to get in and out of. The neighbors seem friendly and considerate. So me and my husband wanted this place and decided to apply. The application process is fast, it’s usually within a day or two you’ll know you’ll get approved or denied , & Lourdes will work with you, she’s really does with pricing and costs. She’s not someone who just wants your money, but someone who wants you to say “ this feels like home “ at the end of the day. Also transportation options are great you’re near the auburn station & Kent station both are only a few minutes away! For a heavy bus commuter like me I depend on that and was very happy to see my options aren’t limited , since I work in Seattle. We’re still in the honeymoon stage where we just started living here, I’ll update after a few months! give this place a chance & take a tour to really get a feel for the place , people & area. Talk to Lourdes she’ll definetly help with you with questions you have! :)
