Property Ratings at Madison Ellis Preserve
Constructed in 2017-2018, this property is starting to show age. Office personnel do nothing to follow up on resident concerns regarding violations reported (ie. pet excrement not picked up, noise & smoking). Ongoing year over year construction is noisy and orange construction dust layers on everything - vehicles and decks. When issues are raised to office staff they offer to send generic emails to all residents, but cannot do anything else unless you can name the person(s) violating rules - regardless of how accurate description is.

This place was happening two years ago, but sadly we are now experiencing the decline. Pricing seems a bit high given the lack of amenities and with the new construction. I would not call it luxury living when you have this awful construction waking you up every morning. Not only is it an eye sore, but it's impacted our ability to host guests because it's just too loud. Management did not even inform us of the planned mini mall and are unwilling to compromise. At the rate the construction is going it won't be complete until 2024. IF you enjoy being inconvenienced this is the place for you. What is with the smoke detectors going off in the middle of the night? Do your homework before settling on this place.

This place was great - a year ago. Since then, it has lost it's appeal. They are building a strip mall on the premises and the noise is unbearable. BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, BEEP is all you hear. I can't even make phone calls without hearing those noises in the background. There's NO peace and quiet here. It's a very busy place with even more congestion due to the location, which will only get worse. They need desperately to replace the outdated carpeting which as others have pointed out, have stains on them. Parking can be challenging especially on weekends. Not a lot of bang for your buck.

we have an electric car and the EV charging stations make the move easier. only concern is open parking and our Bolt is all electric and we would be NEEDING one of the parking areas by the charger which might be a hardship for other tenants
The community is well maintained and both staff and residents are friendly and welcoming. I really have no complaints and would certainly suggest MEP to anyone looking for a new apartment in a community-living setting.
So far my experience has been very positive. Great amenities and friendly staff. The only complaint is the smell of dog urine in the common areas. Otherwise I would have given it a 10!
I really like it here. The only problem I everhad was with the AC in Aug. of 19 for a week and the management worked with me about this.

We would recommend these apartments, however, the recent building of 4+ story townhomes in such close proximity to the apartments only closed in the apartments and made them less desirable. The new construction took the green spaces, the views--even from upper balconies, and we could imagine the extra traffic and congested feeling to an otherwise very desirable apartment complex. But our reason for leaving was to purchase a house.

The maintenance team is great, very friendly always quick with a wave or hello, very friendly to my dog, they all have dogs. I feel like they really care, and take pride in the work they do.
Madison Ellis Preserve is not looking it's best right now with huge dirt piles surrounding the whole complex. In addition, the 600 building has become a "dumping ground" for not only dirt, scrappy wood, slats of wood, dumpsters, large machines, etc. that it is not only unpleasant to look out at but to park your car around the area and even walk in the area.
While this was a construction defect and not a fault of MEP pee se, the MEP team took it seriously and handled all very professionally
I have a two bedroom and a den, and it is the perfect size. The patio is beautiful, the access to everything is great, and the people are very friendly.
We love living at Madison! The management team is engaged, friendly, efficient and responsive. The is also true of the maintenance team.
I feel relatively safe, have made snow friends, am very comfortable with my apartment choice and the staff are very helpful, friendly and nice.

When moving here from the “country” near Allentown, I never imagined apartment living would be like this. I don't know of any other apartment community that provides the activities, the amenities and warm family feeling like this one does.
Only thing is that the person above me in the apartment complex is extremely loud and always stomping his feet which can be annoying at times.

The water and sewage "additional fees" that were added in the fall. I still don't understand why I pay for the available apartments in this complex in addition to my usage. The additional fee is more than my usage. How can anyone make sense of that.
To a Normal Person is Great. To a Handicap person it is not so great.
I have some suggestions: 1. Added security - Add locks to doors to apt bldg from garages (use key fob for entry) 2. Add Emergency call box in garages or add better WIFI signals -No signal in garage 3. Packages - Change current procedures to secure them. - Not to be left unattended by mailbox room for public to access them - Should be placed in locked office and residents pick up during office hours 4. Security cameras -Add them to all entrances & garage 5. Better Recycling program: -Provide a dumpster in garage designated for recycling
When a residence is titled "luxury" expectations rise amd they are not met so far here due to interior unit issues.
I would recommend this apartment community because of the planned activities to meet fellow residents and the beautiful open space of Ellis Preserve. Although I would not recommend this community because of too many people populating the area and using up all of the free space in Ellis Preserve.
The monthly rent high for what I feel the apartment is worth.
