Property Ratings at Madison Grove
Overall, my time at Madison Grove has been marked by ongoing struggles and disappointments. The combination of poor maintenance, ineffective management, and constant noise has made living here more stressful than it should be. I cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed living environment.
Took a tour with Cesar and had such a lovely experience. The property is well maintained and the units are renovated and beautiful. Very excited to move in!
Staff is always so friendly, best customer service I have received in a long time and this is not my first apartment. Grounds are always well taken care of and the renovations that have happened and are coming are amazing! I cant say enough. Great bang for your buck here! Really feels like home
First, they charge you for literally everything on top of the rent, so you are going to be paying about 100 dollars more or so monthly on top of the rent price. They only tell you about all these extra fees when you get ready to sign the lease. Also they make you pay a one time fee to register. Second, it took them literally 3 weeks to get me registered for package concierge, and although I paid the registration fee, they tried to say that I didn't and gave me a run around telling me I needed to call the package concierge customer service b/c it's not their problem. Turns out it was the management that didn't process my payment. So for those 3 weeks my packages were just left in the package concierge room or in other people's parcel lockers for some odd reason. Third, the A/C sucks. My guests always complained about how hot it is although I have my A/C on all day, and it wasn't even summer. Fourth, the wifi signal is horrible. I chose to pay extra and rent the router that was provided in the apartment. I barely get signal in my bedroom or it will be very slow. Fifth, they never gave me a copy of my lease when I moved in. They said it will be on the resident's portal if they forget to give me the paper copy. And to this day it's still not there, and I never received a paper copy even after asking multiple times for it. I just gave up at that point. Sixth, they are charging me extra rent and forcing me to stay extra days, because I didn't sign their formal 60 day notice in time. But they never bothered to give me the form. What they sent me was ONE email emphasizing on the renewal offer, which isn't really an offer b/c the rent price they offered was the same as what I was already paying. They never bothered to call me or leave me a printed form by the door. It's as if they don't want you to sign, so they can make you pay extra as long as they can. They are denying their fault in this b/c they said that I already signed the contract and that I should take a look at the contract. Like I said earlier, they never even gave me my contract. When I mention this again they finally decided to send me it in the pdf form now that they have a problem with me, and there's money involved for them. Seventh, for a month or so there was a smell of marijuana near the apartment leasing office. I lived in the same building where the leasing office is and I could smell it from where I live. This happened a few times in 2019.

They're a lot of drug addicts in the area, the apartments are located between a Burger King and a sketchy bar right next door. You're lucky is the drug addicts and homeless people don't get into the "gate" that separates them from your front door. The gates are always broken, for the amount being charged for this apartment it feels like you're living in a shoe box. They try to lure you in with a tv mounted in each unit but fail to mention the ton of ROACHES that come with the unit as well. No one should have to live like this, and the pest control that you pay for every month with your rent does nothing! Your AC unit will blow loud as hell you can barely hear your own tv, the appliances are old and start to vibrate randomly throughout the day, so much that the entire apartment shakes. Not to mention the extremely thin walls, you will be able to here every conversation, music any noise your neighbor makes you can hear. Management changes constantly here, they'll overcharge you on your rent on the online portal and expect you to pay because the leasing agents can barely do basic math. Overall if you're considering this place please keep looking, and get your money's worth, and live in safe area. No security here or anyone to monitor the premises at night, very unsettling being a single woman. These apartments are just renovated motels-with roaches. Run!

I enjoyed my recent visit with Jennifer! She was professional, personable and engaging! She answered all of my questions, showed me several floor plan options and also provided me with a rate sheet for 2 floor plans of interest- fully transparent, showing all costs upfront. While the apartment complex is on a busy street, it is very private and quiet once you enter the complex and grounds. The complex was built in the 1970's so structurally good sound foundation and solid walls. The property is gated, all units in the property have been fully remodeled and the property grounds are very nicely maintained. There are also several great amenities at the complex - good size gym, pool area, picnic and grill areas, onsite washer and dryer facility, etc. Felt right at home! Thanks, Jennifer!
Signed a lease here after months of searching. After meeting the ladies in the office who were extremely helpful and attentive to what I was looking for, Allison and Brittany, and seeing the inside of the apartment.....I made an easy decision to call this place home. For the same amount of money spent elsewhere you won’t get half the quality or “things” that they offer like a laundry send out service for my inner lazy man child, amazon style package pick up locker, key fob entrances, OR the gym that’s stocked with everything needed to justify canceling a gym membership . Apartment is brand spanking new, every thing from the appliances like fridge, stove, dishwasher down to literally the kitchen sink! Any questions or issues I had with the moving process they gave me helpful solutions to make the transition into my new home as easy and stress free as possible.
We were fortunate enough to move in to Madison Grove on May 28th of this year. It is a beautiful property and my 10 year old daughter loves it! They have a wonderful management team in place and they are helpful and kind hearted. Do yourself a favor, Live in this beautiful community, you won't regret it!
