Property Ratings at Madison Landing at Research Park and the C...
It’s a terrible place. There are bugs everywhere even after numerous complaints and no one answers the phone like EVER. How do you have an apartment staff but don’t answer phones?! Like your whole job is to attend to residents. They say they will come fix stuff or help but they never do or say they forgot and will get on it immediately. Just don’t move here and save yourself from this. Also no apartment lights in the rooms after I was told by a previous leasing agent there were. It’s just a terrible apartment. Moved out immediately. Horrible horrible experience.

The office is complete moronic and unhelpful. You can call 100 times and no one will answer. When our AC went out In august it took them a week to get it fixed. We’ve called and gone to the office 4 times to have a simple outlet fixed and they can’t even call or show up to fix it. This place is overpriced for what it is. Do yourself a favor and just find somewhere newer and with a staff that can actually help.

Went on a tour of these apartments and they are beautiful. Finishings look very high end for the price. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Would love to live here when my lease ends!!!!!

Greetings User, Thanks for the great review! It's great to know that we were able to provide you with the highest levels of service. We truly value your recommendation, and are confident we can continue to provide excellent service in the future. Hope you visit us again soon!
The property management team is the worst. The “regional manager” is useless. The apartments were allegedly recently renovated but popcorn ceilings, ten-year-old tubs and cheap materials tell another story. The apartments are overpriced and unsafe. As a single woman I did not feel safe there.

Jonathan has been so helpful in my transition from AR to AL. He has been patient with me during this transition. I decided to take the apartment blindly without ever visiting the property (I loved the layout. It looks even better in person). Our interaction via email, text, and phone made me feel confident that I was making the right decision. My apartment is spacious. I love the renovations that have been made. Even with Jonathan out of the office this week, the staff has picked right up. My move-in has been seamless. Thank you Jonathan for making my move an easy one.
I asked for a first floor apartment specifically because I did not want carpet, but was given a second floor apartment that had carpet in a 3-story complex. Upon moving in, there were large spots on the carpet that took weeks to get cleaned. I was told within the first week of moving in that my lease needed to be revised because the charges were too high and would be revised. I asked for weeks for the new lease from my leasing agent so I would know what rent to pay each month. It took over two months to finally receive the revised lease. The majority of the time the office staff is completely nonresponsive.
It looks updated but it’s all cheaply done. Filled with roaches. Parking spots are not wide enough. Pools are dirty. The trash pick up is DISGUSTING. They do valet trash service. People leave their nasty garbage out and ants swarm everywhere. Gross. Oh, and don’t forget you are required to give a 60 day notice when you are leaving. Only place I’ve ever rented from that requires a 60 day notice. And they charge way too much for what you are getting. Do yourself a favor and find a better place to rent. The parking situation alone is enough to make me can’t wait to get out.

Thank you for providing feedback. We are a little confused by this and would love an opportunity to speak with you in detail. Please give us a call at the office. Sincerely, Community Manager
My roommate and I moved just a few months ago and this is by far the best apartment we’ve lived in so far. Staff is helpful and they’re always giving back to their residents. + the renovations make the apartment feel brand new.

Thank you for the wonderful feedback. We are pleased you are happy with your new home and our community.
This place has come a long way. I moved in two years ago and it was not a great place to live. The new management has spent a lot of many and you can tell things are getting better. The pool is finally worth visiting, the fitness center looks great and I'm planning to move in one of the new apartments. Keep up the good work!
Next, the one neighbor that needs to move. He snored something awful, and maybe cause he smoked like a freight train. The smoke was so bad it was in my bathroom like I smoked in there for an hour. He had junk all over his balcony, so if your one for cleanliness tough cookie. As for my other neighbors nice people except for that one incident, in which there was a murder to which the children getting on the bus had to witness the crime scene tape. The leasing office decide finally decide to have a meeting about after we asked fifty questions. Then that other little incident that no one ever talked about with police everywhere. But, it should be fine once the gate goes up, whenever that maybe, until then they have security outside. The security guards depending on who is on shift may check may not. What you are getting is a nice apartment based on physical appearance in the inside of the unit, but all the issues that you have to deal with and how it is handle, the apartment complex is crap. I am not telling you what to do, but as for me, I am out!! Don't just go by the staffs new wardrobe and all the construction for there prized multi-million dollar renovation that they constantly brag about, or the friendly face that you get when you initially request a tour. If you see a resident come in upset, don't take it lightly they are mad for a reason.
This was the worst living experience that I have ever had. I moved to save some money and was not happy. From the beginning this was nightmare. Michelle lied to me. She showed me an apartment that would look like the one I was suppose to get. However, the day I moved in she rushed me to sign the lease and the apartment was Horrible. My friend and I saw roaches immediately and the cabinets were dirty, carpet was in the bathroom. Yes, carpet was in the bathroom. Around the toilet there were cracks and roaches were coming out of it. I immediately informed Michelle that I was not happy and the apartment was not what she showed me previously. I asked to speak to a manager and worked with Victoria. She got me into another apartment. now while it was better it had issues as well. There was a crack in the floor where my washer and dryer were put. Also, stains on the carpet. About a week later my toilet overflowed and the air conditioner went out. It took awhile for the issues to be resolved. Later, the toilet overflowed again and I called maintenance the in call agent stated could it wait until the morning I advised that it would ruin the carpet. the water went into the living room and then someone can and got some of the water up but did not clean the carpet. In fact, they left fans in the apartment for 5 days.
I've been living here for 3 years now and I really like it. The staff is very helpful and the grounds are well kept. I have not had any issues with any of my neighbors which is a good thing. Anytime I have had maintenance problems, the maintenance guys have come immediately and fixed whatever problems they may have been regardless of what it is. I would definitely recommend this apartment to others looks for a nice place to live that is affordable and in a great location!!!
Beautiful pools (which I enjoyed swimming in this summer). Nice playground I can take my daughter too also has a chalk ground and a volleyball sand pit. Carringtin cove also offers con laundry and a work out room. Energy efficient apartments. Did I mention beautiful apartment complex? Caseinogen has a neighborhood watch and also a donation bin to donate gently worn clothing and shoes. I absolutely love my apartment, nice neighbors and lovely agents here!
My apartment is a 2 bedroom 2 bath. Very spacious. All appliances work well. Anytime I need maintenance for any reason they are always very prompt and friendly. I love that the water bill is included in rent alot on apartments in this area do not. Rent is reasonable. We have 2 pools to choose from and a 24hr gym access. Computer access as well.
Carrington Cove is a peaceful, quiet & lively neighborhood! All of the staff are kind, honest, and helpful. The neighborhood is just great all together, I really enjoy living here.
In a nutshell, I will have to say that living here is quiet. I have never had any problems with neighbors being loud, etc. I will go over everything by category: (Moved here in April 2015). Maintenance: When you first move-in, you will do an inventory of anything that needs fixing. Within the two weeks, a maintenance guy came out, and fixed everything. Also, if you catch any of them outside, or in the office, let them know what you need, and they will be down there that day. I have not had any problems with them at all since living here. Office/Staff: Since one lady has moved on to another apartment, the staff has been pretty good. Always busy, but they greet us, and have definitely stayed on task. I have never needed anything major. Apartment itself: I have the 2 bedroom, 2 bath carrington for 725/month, and it is spacious! Even better when kept clean. It is definitely much bigger than other apartments we viewed in the area, and for a good price. Since we have a baby, I would like to move to the bottom floor as this would be easier for me, but that is all. You also have a patio and your own storage building right outside the apartment. I love that just as much as I love my one year old has his own bath. Amenities: One thing that I would recommend is having not just one, but two garbage disposal sites. This may help with some of the overcrowding of trash. It doesn't affect the experience as it is in a remote area on its own. Also, the waterfall pool is neat, but noone gets in it, because it has so many leaves and bugs in it all the time. It is not joyous to be in. Something should be done where it is more protected from all this. Otherwise, the pools are well kept. Fridge, Microwave, Stove, Laundry area: The freezer is not so big, but if you shop once a week, then this will be okay for you. Microwave is nice, and a big one right above the stove, which is ample enough of as well. We had a bigger one, but that was in home. Nothing to complain about. Lastly, the washer/dryer space is nice enough for us! Overall, I give it a 4/5. If you want a larger space, but cannot pay the large bill, this is the place to be!
