Unfortunate
Aside from the typical town home living; noisy and often unsupervised children until 10PM, parking in undesignated spaces, hearing your neighbors movies, etc., it's fine if you dont mind being a renter living like an owner. Examples? 1) I weed and bark my own entry because if I don't it is unpresentable even though there is weekly service. 2) We've had kitchen lighting issues for two years. We'd been frequently changing bulbs ourselves until we realized that maintenance would do it for us. We've had them changed NO LESS than 4 times in the past year. We suggested electrical issues. No avail. We are currently without ANY lights in our kitchen and this is met with, "We're sorry. There are many with the same issue. We are trouble-shooting." 3) A free carpet cleaning comes with lease renewal. We've lived here 4 years and have had two cleanings. Last year we "arranged" three times with office staff to have this done and it never happened. Finally to be told it is too late. 4) Sorry... Office times are posted on the window, but are undependable. Winter changes hours... Summer changes hours... We have often shown up to office during posted times and the doors were locked. This is difficult for working people (which is most of us). You might think, "Have you done anything? Spoken to anyone? Yes. Surveys. Face-to-face. No response from surveys. "I'm sorry" with f-t-f encounters. People just need to know you are heard and that something is being done about the concern. That is not too much to offer a loyal customer who is faithful with their size able monthly payments. LOVE Doug the Maintenance Specialist. He gets to us when he can and goes above and beyond when he's here.
