Highland Park is one of Raleigh’s most sought-after neighborhoods. This wooded community features moderately priced to upscale apartments and large single-family houses. Highland Park is a suburban neighborhood with several golf courses, excellent schools, and access to plenty of restaurants, grocers, and medical facilities. Highland Park is nestled along Falls Lake and Neuse River, giving residents easy access to several waterfront green spaces like Falls Lake Dam Recreation Area and Forest Ridge Park, which has a zip line and trails for hiking and biking. Along with Downtown Raleigh, commuters appreciate proximity to Research Triangle Park, Durham, and Chapel Hill, where many residents travel to for work. Route 1 and Highway 98 allow for easy travel across the Triangle Area.

Property Ratings at Madison Wakefield
Here are your perks: new apartment, nice design, good location. When you sign lease things can and do change. There have been 3 staffing changes since I've moved here and 1 maintenance staff change as well. If I'm honest the people that should stay there the longest don't. That's one red flag. I had an experience where the electrical meters numbers were mixed up and had my powered shut off randomly. Luckily I was able to take to the contractor who turned it off and he stated the numbers listed on the electrical meters were mixed. That translates into you not knowing if you are paying for someone else's energy bill. That's another red flag. The bug situation has been trauma for me. Let me say this I don't believe most people have the same big problem has me but just be aware that there could be depending on the apartment you choose. Especially the ground level. Speaking on ground level. This noise level when living in apartment can be intense depending on neighbors. This apartment build was thrown together and probably cheap materials used so you can hear everything. The landscaper and his blower, the neighbors, the Mexican restaurants that have live music on weekends and one plays tuba, you'll hear car slams, people talking loudly walking by. Walls are thin you should understand that.
Monica and Michelle were very professional and great to work with. I could not be happier with the apartments they are beautiful, not to mention the entire complex surrounded by nature and woods. The neighborhood is nice and quiet a friendly place to live, is close to everything!
The team was really helpful and the location is on point. Win win!
