San Antonio blends a rich heritage with modern innovation, resulting in a metropolis teeming with true Texan heart. San Antonio’s distinctive environment reflects centuries of style and a diverse array of culture, which is best exemplified in the La Villita Historic Arts Village. The Alamo may be the most renowned structure in the city, but there are plenty of magnificent historical buildings to see—from the Emily Morgan Hotel to the Meyer Halff House.
Stretched along the San Antonio River is the famous River Walk, where residents and visitors alike can walk or bike from the San Antonio Zoo to the Witte Museum, the historic Majestic Theatre, the Shops at Rivercenter, the Missions of San Antonio and back again.
The city and the surrounding region offer endless opportunities for exploration.

Property Ratings at Magnolia Heights
The staff at MH ROCKS! We are building and have lived here for two years. AJ and his fab team of Kendra, Jarrod, Elena and Brayan work tirelessly to make MH a wonderful, safe, positive and easy place to live. They are timely on any service requests and bend over backwards to help with every request. They always have fun community events in the beautiful club room three or four times a month. We recommend this property to anyone who wants an easy lifestyle and close proximity to bars and restaurants.

I secured this location for my son while in Law School. I was looking for something safe, clean, quiet and responsive to his needs. Magnolia Heights meets all of these and more! Of course, there are issues, now and again, you can expect these even when owning your own home. I want to acknowledge that he is witness to the staff responding quickly and with follow through. My son enjoys the many friendly residents and kind staff. For example, recently, there was an issue with a delivery on our part and when requested, the staff, without hesitation, offered to help. Having lived in many apartment situations, this has been by far, the best!

Thank you for your positive review, Holly! We're glad to hear that Magnolia Heights has met your expectations and provided a safe and comfortable living environment for your son. We strive to be responsive to our residents' needs and it's great to know that our staff has been quick to address any issues that arise. We appreciate your kind words and are happy to have your son as part of our friendly community.
I have been living here for less than a year and have been extremely dissatisfied with the management. Right now if I set my AC all day at 76, it is at 80 when I come home. I have had the air conditioner repaired several times by the service crew. On one occasion, I was stuck with a portable cooling unit for several days and no offer to abatement my rent was made. For several weeks, management failed to secure the parking garage that is closest to my unit, which really inconvenienced me. In my opinion management fails to take accountability, tries to push thing back on the residents, seems very incapable, and the end result is a subpar apartment complex. If you value your hard-earned money I would encourage you to PLEASE look elsewhere. Also, their after-hours services really mean you call a number that takes you to some service that to me sounds like it is in a different country and about an hour later a very nice maintenance man arrives. For this price, that is, unfortunately, far from satisfactory. I do not find this space adequate for working a serious professional job due to, in my opinion, the truly shocking managerial incompetence. No one should have to put up with air conditioners failing over and over at this price. I left one bottom-feeder apartment complex, River House, for this place, and it seems like a very similar attitude. Don't take my word for it; look at the abysmal reviews!

Quick to respond to my request. Amazing teamwork. Thank you
From the moment I applied to touring and moving in, the process was efficient without any problems. The club, gym, and pool area are of elegant and high quality. The availability of a restricted access provides a high level of security. While it maybe a little pricey, it’s worth all of the accommodations it brings.
After 4 months, below are my experiences and thoughts. Lifestyle was a factor of priority in selecting a property. Overall great location, but the wrong management company/controls. It is too much/ too soon for a new property to receive this type of review. Our hope is that this review helps others make an informed decision and leadership make things right. Positives: Valet parking – ending 11/30/2020. Gym Color palette and finishes Jessica in leasing, maintenance- 5 stars Negatives - Cheap bait and switch property - Sold on a full-service property including security, valet, and a concierge up to 10 PM. Decision to sign on for a lease included consideration for these items as we decided between the Cellars and Magnolia Heights. Concierge and security are not in place. Note the valet ends 11/30/2020. - There is no security outside of the bluetooth entry points nor is there a concierge. Both resources were originally scheduled to start in August 2020 as was communicated to us when touring and we are now told there will be no security and a concierge will be acquired sometime in 2021. No formal communication of these changes was sent prior to our direct inquiry. -Additional missing features include a dog park (current park is lacking a fence), weekend pastry service (abruptly stopped citing poor attendance and costs), and concierge services up to 10 PM. As of 11/30/2020 the valet service will be terminated without a compromise to residents who signed for a lease/rate based on these aforementioned features. - Instability -Cleaning: In previous instances, elevators/floors were left dirty for weeks. The property is missing a daily housekeeping resource or protocol. -Lack of privacy: the main access point out of the building requires you to walk past the leasing offices. CREA offices have clear glass, no privacy screens, and you hear/see everything as you walk by. This was a poor design choice during the planning of the building. One suggestion is moving the offices to give staff their privacy for conducting business and the residents’ privacy in coming in/out and not having to witness leasing business.

Thank you for your feedback. We are saddened to hear that your experience here so far has not met your expectations. I am happy that Jessica and our maintenance team have provided you with stellar service. I would be happy to further discuss all of your concerns and ways we can improve upon them when you are available. We are normally available 7 days a week with exception to some holidays. Kind Regards, Magnolia Heights Management

As of 11/30/2020 the valet service will be terminated without a compromise to residents who signed for a lease/rate based on these features. - Instability -Cleaning: There is no consistent daily cleaning service. I have had to take pictures, call CREA leadership, and send emails to get something as simple as an elevator cleaned. This does not include other dirty areas throughout the property. In previous instances, elevators were left dirty for several weeks. The property is missing a daily housekeeping resource or protocol. Non-housekeeping staff members were seen cleaning after I sent emails, but it is not their allocated scope nor is it consistent. Naturally, this should be in the interest of CREA to show the property well and secure more leases. - Lack of privacy: the main access point out of the building requires you to walk past the leasing offices. This gets old. CREA offices have clear glass, no privacy screens, and you hear/see everything as you walk by. This was a poor design choice during the planning of the building. One suggestion is moving the offices to give staff their privacy for conducting business and the residents’ privacy in coming in/out and not having to witness leasing business. -While working out, an area leader from CREA entered the gym to move dumbbells and other items while I was doing squats using dumbbells. She was on a personal phone call while moving the weights. Why precisely at this time? I perceived this as a disregard of resident spaces and privacy.
I cannot say that I have had the privilege of living here yet, but when I visited the city to look at places to move to, this one was a level above the rest and nicer than any other place I saw in the city. I really appreciated the kindness of the staff and was impressed by the attitude that the developer takes with the place (at least what was communicated to me about his level of involvement and his receptiveness to feedback). The amenities I saw were just fabulous- even just the gym is better than the place I pay 300$ to use in LA. It's pricey compared to some other options I investigated but you can clearly see how much more you get for the bump in price. I also loved the idea of having a separate unit in the complex that can be rented for guests for a modest price comparable to an Airbnb. such an elegant solution to the guest that never leaves! It's those attention to details that makes this place a notch above the rest.
