Property Ratings at Magnolia Point
office has been unmanned since 01mar20. roaches everywhere at night. they raised the rent at least $50 every year since we moved in. maintenance is horrible. they try to fix things with trailer store, or dollar store parts. that is if they ever do show up. there hasn't been a professional maintenance person on staff here for over a decade. too many kids stealing stuff here. there is no insulation in the walls and the bedroom window was replaced with plexiglass since before we moved in and they refuse to properly fix it.
I moved here Dec 2019 and have already decided to move out! Had problems from the get go with a window leaking every single time it rained. I contacted them to moment I noticed it and maintenance came the next day. Took them 3 months and a call to the head maintenance at corporate to FINALLY have a contractor come. After I was told by 3 different maintenance people that they’d already told management to have a contractor come out. The contractor even told me the roof needs to be replaced on all the bulidings! They’re just patching over the damage. THEN when I think things might be okay, there’s a shooting! In the parking lot right in front of my building. Now I understand that management can’t control everyone, however there was no sort of notice at all given from them after the fact! Not to mention, the maintenance man was walking thru the crime scene videoing it all afterwards so I KNOW they were aware. No police monitoring, nothing. Then another shooting happened at the red light right up the street and police came to the apartments looking again. Bad area, bad management, everything about this place was terrible. I became sick while living there and I’m sure that was due to the mold and mildew that’s all over the place. Oh! And the day I moved in, they were still cleaning the apartment and I had to wait over an hour for them. They told me to start moving things in while they were finishing up and they didn’t even clean the place properly. Left their cleaning supplies there too. Just nuts! Don’t do it!! Not worth your mental or physical health to deal with these people.
Roach infested old windows air come through need a lot work done on the outside not worth the amount they tell you one price and when w sign the lease it higher
I just wanted to take a moment not to complain about anything but to send a message of praise. I have been in this complex for over 4 years. I am from Jacksoville and was very hesitant to move here. There have been a quite a few office workers that have come and gone. I just resigned my lease for another year souly because of the hard work and improvements that have been happening under the current manager. She came in a little harsh but understandable now I see. I love the way she shows such respect to tenants and does all she can to fix any problems that arise. It is very hard to please so many people of so many backgrounds I am sure. To follow the rules she has and still handle difficult situations is something she truly is great at. This complex truly is becoming a great place to live and I feel it's because of her leadership and dedication. Thank you so much for taking the time to hear my praise and I look forward to living here with such great workers in the office.
I've lived in these apartments for 2 years and I'm still having the same issues from when I moved in. Pests and A/C. Pest control is NEVER on point and and A/C is obsolete on extremely hot days. I hate not having a washer and dryer in my apartment but I knew that before I moved in.
I am from NC I moved here to Florida a year ago. I moved here in this apartment complex in February of this year. I love it my daughter loves it so convenient for her ans myself school is across the street lots of kids. The management is to die for. Everyone one is so friendly more like family . security is also great as well I feel very safe.. I love Magnolia Point apartments..kim
